Holiday Inn Club Vacations is obnoxious and deceptive. When booking a simple 1 night stay with Holiday Inn we were transferred to Holiday Inn Club Vacations. Their high-pressure sale enticed us to make a $249 charge to our credit card that would be fully refunded if we booked a 3 night stay at one of their resorts and listen to their promotion. After reading all the terrible reviews of what happens when you attend the promotional stay, we asked for our money to be refunded. Generic email response...it is not refundable. Of course they claim this is found in their disclaimer. Funny how the sales person who wouldn't let us get off the phone didn't mention it was non-refundable.I don't know whether to be angry that I gave these losers $249 or thankful we didn't ever book a stay, judging from all the horror reviews.I fault Holiday Inn as much as the Club Vacations, it is Holiday Inn that pushes their guests to listen to the "high pitch sale"!One more thing, we specifically asked if they sell our information. Of course not they claim. That can't be as we are inundated with emails, text messages and phone calls from HIC Vacations and other promotional stays.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

If I could leave no stars, I would! Holiday Inn Club Vacations called me to set up a trip at a highly discounted rate. They have a brand new resort in ****************. After being extremely mislead, I agreed..I mean what could be so bad about booking a room for a highly discounted rate at brand new resort!? My husband and I flew across country and drove 2.5 hours to the hotelwhich was NOT a new hotel, nor was it a Holiday Inn. The room was so bad, we ended up booking another room at a different hotel. A snow storm came in on the day we were scheduled for our preview and it was ****************************************************************************************** a rental that is not equipped with chains or snow tires. When I called customer service and told them about my terrible experience, all she could offer me was $100 cash once we finished the preview we could not get to. 10/10 do NOT recommend this experience to anyone.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

My wife and I are outraged by how we have been repeatedly misled during our initial purchase and three subsequent upgrades with Holiday Inn Club Vacations. Resulting in being stuck with a product that fails to deliver as promised and a financial burden we can no longer sustain.Originally purchased in January 2021, we have experienced a consistent pattern of misrepresentations and unethical practices spanning the past four years. We have been lied to at every turnabout the products functionality, its value, and our financial optionsleading us to a contract we would not have entered had we been told the truth. We have requested the outright cancellation of our contract and relief from this burden. Wake up HICV; this pattern of unethical practice must end. We have diligently sought resolutions to no avail. After another significant maintenance fee increase, we emailed ****************** and ********************** detailing our grievances and requesting options to return, sell, or rework the timeshare loan to reduce payments. We received no satisfactory response. Over the years, we have made countless calls and sent emails, only to be brushed off with unprofessional indifference.We hope you learn from our horrific experience.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

My family's nightmare began with what seemed like a dream invitation. A "VIP Experience" at ************ turned into the most regrettable financial decision of our lives. Despite already owning a Holiday Inn timeshare in ********* (which we'd been trying to exit), we accepted an offer from ***** ****** for a short stay with a promised "one-hour tour." What followed was psychological warfare. On April 8, 2024, we endured a 5-6 hour high-pressure sales presentation that left us exhausted and vulnerable. The tactics were relentless. Mr. ******* ******** and his team wore us down, insisting this was an "exclusive opportunity" superior to our existing timeshare. when we tried to leave, they persuaded us to apply for a Holiday Inn credit card and immediately charged a $10,000 down payment. The deception continued. They promised our Las Vegas timeshare balanced would reduce our new loan, yet credit reports show that account was closed with zero balance before our tip. They marketed this as a "real estate investment" that would " gain value" and provide our family with " lifetime free vacations"-failing to mention the perpetual maintenance fees increasing 8% annually. Most egregiously, they promised access to ****** resorts and cruises-a complete fabrication. We signed documents for "he Registry Collection Program" not the *********************************** as pitched. The rushed 30-minute contract signing after hours of pressure gave us no chance to understand the implications. Our annual costs totals $ ********* for a 7-day stay-an outrageous 4 ******** per night, requiring minimum ****** points per reservation. Despite spending nearly $ ******, we haven't been able to book a single vacation. This isn't sales-its predatory deception targeting families. I booked at the ***** location through ***********. The air conditioning was broken and there was no other room available so we had to last minute find a different place to stay. Things happen. But as I have tried to get a refund for the last year, they approved it but will not communicate with *********** that it is approved. I have spent hours on the phone between Holiday Inn Vacations and ***********. I'm not allowed to talk to the person that can send the email for some reason and the customer service **** can only keep "escalating" my case. It is very frustrating and a lot of money to be out for so long.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

*** not under any circumstance purchase a Holiday Inn timeshare. Dues constantly increase every year, places to trade continuously diminish, exorbitant fee to get out of the lifelong contract, always pestered to trade-in unit for a ridiculous amount, your unit and facility will not be updated or kept up through the years. A nightmare business to deal with over the phone regarding your contract. Truly, they are not reputable. You cannot speak with anyone in the *************** but rather customer service will convey your message and the response from the *************** is reported back to you via customer service. It may take weeks or a month for the info to filter back to you. ******* is a much better deal and cheaper through the years, especially when retiring.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Scam! They put you in a different hotel than what your are promised. We were supposed to stay in a 2-bed condo with kitchen at ********* in Orlando, across from *********. We ended up at a one room Holiday Inn with no amenities in ********, 30 minutes away. We told the front desk at both the hotel and vacation club presentation what happened only for them to point fingers and do nothing to make it right. This company tried to tell me I would have to pay them over $6,000 to cancel the contract they lied to me about. Ive been trying to cancel what they scammed me into for over a year now and they have made it clear they dont care nor do they intend to help. I have paid off a mortgage on the timeshare and they still had the nerve to tell me I would have to pay another $6,000 to get out of it. Holiday Inn originally told me the maintenance fees were a set cost, they are not, they go up every year and the timeshare is pretty much impossible to use. It does not save any money. I would argue it is 2 or 3 times more expensive than booking a regular vacation out of pocket. For what I have paid to date, I could have taken multiple extended vacations abroad or to extremely high end resorts. Holiday Inns resorts are not much different than a motel or average airport hotel. You will NOT get what you signed up for and they WILL lie to you!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

They have a smart reply to any barrier you voice to stopping you from buying a time share. My kids and I felt stuck for hours whod was wayyy past 90 minutes. I told the sales rep ** so broke my parents help me with bills and he said well tell them to help you with this. COLD! I really fell for it. Please beware do not fall for their gifts. I feel so bad for the families that do. I was refusing because of the cost so they gave me their lowest plan with high interest (A TRAP!) the manager was like I can look at your family and tell you NEED this ugh makes me sick to my stomach and has been keeping me up at night, truly!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Our experience with Holiday Inn Club Vacations has been deeply disappointing. After investing $12,000, we've been unable to book a single vacation despite multiple attempts. The sales process was fraught with deception: our IDs were held hostage during a 5-hour presentation, we were rushed through contract signing in just 10 minutes, and critical information about maintenance fees, assessment costs, and perpetual obligations was deliberately omitted. We were misled about exclusive resort access, point conversion rates with RCI (told it would be 1:1 when it's actually 10:1), and false promises regarding our children's ability to use the timeshare. During a follow-up "member update" that turned into another sales pitch, representatives made fraudulent offers about eliminating down payments to entice us to upgrade. Most critically, we were never informed of our legal right of rescission.
