This timeshare purchase was something3 we got into by attending a meeting. The promoters told us that they would give us free tickets if we went. It was only supposed to be an hour, but instead, we found ourselves telling them no for much much longer than that. We would say no, they would come up with a new "deal," we would say no, and they would do it again. Rinse and repeat. They went on about how we could stay anywhere we wanted at these beautiful 5-star resorts, but you can't and they aren't.
Don't waste your time. If you get involved with this company, then you better get ready to stay there because we have tried to get out of this scam and can't seem to get anyone there to care. They can answer, they just don't care. All money is money to them, I guess. Even if they lied to get it.

Holiday Inn is an absolute nightmare! Their timeshares are worthless! Beware and don't make the same mistake our family did. First, they bribed us with free gifts in exchange for attending a sales pitch meeting. There the salesmen began their pushy campaign to get us to buy a timeshare. We declined several offers; we weren't interested, and they price was too high! They finally offered an affordable offer that would suit our large family...unfortunately for us, it was all lies. They never told us the debt could be passed down to our children! Who in their right mind would want to pass a ton of debt and a lousy timeshare down to their kids? They boasted that with a timeshare with them, we could take "dream vacations" but this was also a lie. They constantly hounded us to buy more points. Maintenance fees are over a thousand dollars a year and keep increasing! We were absolutely taken advantage of and purposely tricked into debt. Dream vacations??? With roaches and dead lizards in their units! It's all nonsense! Holiday Inn timeshare are the embodiment of "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!" Book a stay online and don't buy a timeshare, you'll enjoy your trip and not be hassled to go to another owners update.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

We attended the seminar in Gatlinburg, TN the seminar was to take 2 hours, 4 hours later we were still there. After saying several times that we wanted to research before making such a big commitment we finally agreed to the Latitudes Leads Package $100 down with 17 payments of $50 a month. Once we returned back home I did my research and decided this was not something we wanted to do, based on reviews. Therefore, I followed the directions of canceling our package, I mailed my letter within 10 days on July 11th, I have contacted the company twice now to see if my letter was received and how I get my $100 back. No one ever answers the phone so I have left messages and no one has returned my calls.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Holiday Inn Club Vacations told us, when selling us our timeshare, that we can use the contract for discounted tickets to Disney and to stay at Disney Resorts for our kids. They convinced us we were making the best decision of our lives. Telling us we can take many vacations for less and even being able to resell our timeshare if we wanted to. Holiday Inn convinced us they were making our traveling dreams come true. Instead, they made those dreams into nightmares. None of the things they told us were true. The salesman lied about the purchase of this deal that was never really available, because we got something completely different. We got constant rising maintenance fees, no discounts to Disney, a VERY HIGH interest rate, no availability, etc. Holiday Inn LIED, and we intend to inform the South Carolina Attorney General so no other customers get screwed over.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

I received a 4 day, 3 night offer to attend a presentation at 1 of the 34 resorts they have across the U.S. Cape Canaveral was a nice beach town and even though we didn't stay at the actual resort, we did receive a great tour of the resort during our presentation. We did not feel pressured at all to purchase a time share, it was just a matter of attending the brief and hearing them out. I paid the $249 to stay at the resort in a 2 bedroom Villa. The rep told me what I wanted to hear, guaranteed my dates, and happily took my money. I received a confirmation email with the address of an IHG hotel 5 miles from the beach... not the South Beach Resort. I called to get this corrected and they told me there were no openings and I would have to stay at Staybridge. Isn't the cost for Staybridge $149? I didn't pay for Staybridge, I paid for the resort package. I want to cancel. I've talked to reps on the phone who gave me an email address to request a refund. Now I only get a generic response saying no refunds. I've been a top tier member for years and this is the treatment I get? I won't spend another dime with IHG and I'll relay all of this to family, friends, and co workers.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

I was transferred by IHG to talk with someone from their Vacation club but learned later that its a separate company. I was pressured to prepay $199 for 3 night stay. Upon research online, I realized that it's another hard sell for their time share and a lot just had bad experience. Decided to cancel it less than 24 hrs later but they said it's non refundable! I stayed at holiday inn club vacation orlando breeze the internet was free but was so slow that my computer,windows tablet or any of my wifi devices could not connect reliable. I was informed by desk to call the internet provider which was not my responsibility. I have yet to get connected so from now on my visit to Orlando will not include staying at any holiday innHoliday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

These timeshares are a complete scams, I brought a timeshare in February 2022, after I bought the timeshare, the guy give me a 3 night and 2 day vacation which I took on July 30 to Aug 1 . He never told me about another timeshare presentation which I did go to anyways . I went to the presentation and wasn't able to take it because my wife don't speak English, which I wasn't told when I made the reservation. I have been to so many presentation and this never happened before. So now they kept my money 199 for not attending. I don't think this is fair and they give me a number which I have been calling for days and no one picks up , I have left many messages and no one calls me back . HIVC/Silver Lake has been a thorn in my side. I wish I never took them up on the free vacation that was offered. All I had to do is sit through a 90-minute presentation, so it sounded like a good deal. That is until I got conned by the salespeople. For over FOUR HOURS, my head was filled with dream vacations, perks, and benefits. All of it was a lie. I was so excited for the access to Disney Resorts, but that's non-existent. I was told my family and I had access to a discount site for travel needs, but there were no discounts! All the airfare, hotels, etc. were cheaper on other travel sites. By far, the worst part is the 16.9% interest rate that I was told could be refinanced. Like everything else, that was a lie. That interest rate has DOUBLED the amount I agreed to pay. Then they have the nerve to increase maintenance fees on top of everything!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated
