      I have had nothing but bad experiences after the next with Starpoint Resorts . Do not believe anything their salespeople tell you. They never told us about the increasing fees and the terrible lack of availability before we signed our contract. They gave us a few days to cancel, but it took months to find out that we signed a nightmare contract. I stopped making payments because there wasnt any other option. I spoke to their customer service and they were incredibly rude saying they knew how much I made so I could afford it. I have a lower paying job now. This is insane. Stay far away from them!

      Unfortunately there is no availability when you actually go to book. Stick with the other timeshare companies if youre looking for availability. Exceptionally difficult with a larger family as theres only one location that would work. Money wasted. But they also dont care. Automated response to everything.

      Started out great, now horrible company. Holiday ******** has gone down hill severely and has treated us terribly. When we initially bought into this in 1997, we were able to use it often and enjoyed it. It has become a nightmare for us for years. Medically, we cannot use it anymore. Logistically, we can't use it because no one at Holiday Inn has been able to help us schedule any trips in years. No one in our family even wants to take it over because of the way things have gone. Their help ceased when we declined their upgrade which would have cost thousands of dollars more then the thousands of dollars that we have already paid. As of recently, they have become nasty and refuse to release us because we asked someone else for advice, which would not have been necessary if they were trustworthy and would have told us about their exit program. Their employee, *****, bullied and berated us for wanting to cancel it, even though we applied for their own surrender option and were willing to pay the $1,200 fee. We were ready to play ball and pay the money, and now they are stonewalling us.

      Terrible company run by unethical and dishonest people. They promised us 5 star experiences but they have been nothing short of liars who are rude and intentionally refusing to listen to reason. We are at the end of our rope with Holiday Inn. We really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt after the first 2 reservations, but the rooms have always been dirty, the pools and hot tubs are unavailable because theyre broken or in bad shape (hello diseases), and the locations are not as advertised. For example, they showed us beach front properties and told us that would be where we stayed, and the motel was actually very far and driving distance from the beach. We got roped into an upgrade with their promise of improvement and better availability. I would say the upgrade actually made things worse. I can only describe the timeshare as a scam at this point. They lied about everything from locations, quality of rooms, and the existence of yearly membership and maintenance fees, which go up every year. Not at all as advertised.

      I signed up for this because the salespeople were very pushy and convincing. They led me to believe I would be able to vacation anytime I wanted. This is not the case, for there is a whole complicated system that makes nothing available. They only gave me a few days to change my mind, which they never mentioned during the presentation. Which wasnt enough time to realize I signed up to waste my money.

      We have owned a *** *** timeshare for eight years now. Shortly after joining, Holiday Inn took over, and it became exponentially more difficult to use. We have NEVER been able to use our timeshare since Holiday Inn took over. Their website never shows any availability. To this day, they still bill us for thousands of dollars they say we owe them, but why exactly do we owe this money if their membership is completely unusable?! This company is a scam.

      I dont know if it is possible to put into words just how much I regret ever doing business with Holiday Inn Club Vacations. The resorts are nowhere near worth being tricked into a contract that never ends. I want to be done with them, but they will not let me leave! You can find much cheaper vacations without a contract elsewhere.

      Do not do business withthis company!! They got me to go down to *********** with a "free" room for a few days to sit in a "presentation" stating at the end I would be paid the amount I spent on the room. During the presentation that turned out to be a sales pitch, I was told I could got to all these places and use my points. The points I got would cover a weekend or 2 or even a week stay at some places. I've tried to use these points many time, and every time it never worked do to either not enough points or that time was not avaliable to me. Also come to find out it I just paid cash not associated with the timeshare I could stay at their hotel when I wanted and for less money than the points were worth to begin with. I also was not made aware that the maintenance fees would go up every year even after it was paid off and then my kids would have to keep paying the rising cost after I die. I am doing what I can to get out of here forever.

      Holiday Inn Club Vacations is the worst type of company. They really sell you at their presentations, but buyer beware! We had friends who had to stop paying Holiday Inn, and they were allowed to sign back their ownership through notarizing and signing some paperwork. I mentioned this, and suddenly, I was accused of working with a third party. They will give any excuse to not let me out. We havent paid them since 2018, and they still wont let go! Ridiculous!
