This place has gone down hill since we purchased our time share. We were greeted by cockroaches in our bathroom. Big ones. Hot water valve burned my wife while she was in the shower. Significant corrosion on door jamb. Kitchen cabinets need to be maintained. Ice machine in hall is out of order. I would not recommend a timeshare purchase at this property. They did come and replace the shower mixing valve. We religiously pay our timeshare maintenance fee but it appears there is poor management or no interest in maintaining or upgrading.

Marriott sales staff tell deceptivepromises that are not true! When you buy you do not own property ( just use rights- at their discretion ). Impossible to get trips planned(unavailable)! We tried for weeks to book ahead- couldnt get in anywhere we tried!!! They pushed us into another review of benefits where we told to buy another $30,000 worth of points to have a better chance to get our trip location. The contract is so one sided ( with legal binding agreements) that you need a law degree to understand! They wear you down with constant promises, lies, that after hours of this, you give in just to get out! They dont tell you its a life contract ( forever)- its stays with the family forever! The maintenance fees are set by them- constantly going up( assessment fee anytime they want).Even if you buy the initial points( the Best Buy for vacations), it doesnt get what your promised- go on vacation when you want, where you wantDO NOT fall for the Vacation meeting! Its a lie- they want your $ I feel violated by this experience!!!

Marriot ************* misled us with the presentation on a variety of factors. But they have very good lawyers so when you confront them with this, they give a "Oh well, that stinks, here are some bon voy points. SORRRRYYY!!!!"Don't believe anything they say, they have their legal docs written very well so they can steal your money. They are a disgrace.

Marriott's handling of late Maintenance Fees and customer service is unacceptable. Removing the $25 late fee is appreciated, but keeping the late interest is unfair. Waiting on hold for over 10 minutes without a solution is frustrating. Misapplying early payments to interest is greedy and traps consumers. Marriott needs to reevaluate its policies and treat customers fairly.

The Marriott service (particularly, the timeshare program) has deteriorated so much in the last 20 years that I've been an owner. I thought this would be my retirement travel... instead, I'm getting out. Too many reasons to list. For anyone doing your due diligence before buying... I highly recommend going somewhere else.

Our experience with Marriott ************* has been a disaster. We were hood-winked into our timeshare contract due to misrepresentation, dishonesty, and deception. We would not be in this predicament if their salespeople had a shred of honesty while dealing with us, but unfortunately that has not been the case. At every turn they lied to us about availability, as well as the total cost of this endeavor. We were told that we could rent out the property to help cover the cost of maintenance fees or make extra cash, that we were purchasing real property (untrue), and, finally, we were told that we could make a great deal of money if we rented out our timeshare during sporting events. This claim was made by a salesperson who said he did this with his wife all the time. We were assured that we were purchasing property that could be used as an investment vehicle to earn additional income as well as to take vacations. We finally realized it wasnt worth the financial strain and we are demanding that our contract be terminated immediately. So far all we are getting is past due notices and attempts to get us on the phone. Frankly at our age, we do not trust that they wouldnt trap us again, we do not want to sink even further financially. We hope others will see this and choose for themselves vs. being manipulated into a contract with this company. If they cared, they would address these unethical salespeople.

We deeply regret to hear about your dissatisfaction with your Marriott ************* experience. We understand your concerns and take them seriously. After carefully reviewing your purchase documents, including the ***************** checklist, we want to emphasize that availability is not guaranteed, and our timeshare ownership is intended for personal use rather than investment purposes. We apologize if there was any misunderstanding regarding this matter.

I had the opportunity to be on an Abound Marriott sales pitch today , I agreed to give them the agreed upon 90 minutes of the sales appointment. After the 90 minutes I was not told what it was going to cost , ***************** the sales person also had a a manager named **** on the line ( Manager ) ? I was getting very annoyed with them holding back on the price so I was blunt with them and informed them that I fulfilled my obligation to the 90 minutes, They hung up on my wife and I, I have yet to receive the promised $275.00 that we were promised, we fulfilled our end of the agreement and Marriott will not . I'm asking that they fulfill their end of the bargain.Thank You *****************

Marriott's supposed exclusivity for timeshare owners is a deception. The paradise they promise quickly loses its charm amidst a web of restrictions and elusive bookings. Their loyalty system, or lack thereof, fails to reward loyalists. It's disheartening to find out that these supposedly exclusive resorts are open to the general public. Adding to the frustration, the ever-increasing maintenance fees drain our pockets. We're trapped in a sinking ship of preplanned holidays that our children aren't interested in. Why should we tolerate this charade when we can have the freedom to vacation on our own terms, in a financially smarter way? Our hard-earned leisure should be an escape from stress, not a source of it.

We apologize for the concern you've expressed. It's important to note that we do offer transient rental options when deeded owners elect their week for Marriott Bonvoy Points or rent their week. We understand your frustration regarding exclusivity and loyalty rewards. We strive to provide a rewarding experience for all our guests and owners, and we'll take your feedback into consideration as we continue to improve our services.

Wake up everyone, Vistana, Sheraton, Marriott Timeshares will drain you financially and emotionally. Our regretful affiliation with Vistana is in its sixth year; and we cannot put an end to it fast enough. We were enticed by a generous offer a $100 prepaid credit card to be used at Universal that day. This innocent act led us to a high-pressure sales scheme where we were deceived into purchasing a Vistana, what we understand now to be a timeshare. It is important to note that the salespeople repeatedly assured us that they were not selling timeshares! The pressure intensified when a Senior Sales Manager of ********************** joined the conversation to offer further discounts. Feeling cornered and pressed for time, we reluctantly agreed to the deal, under the inaccurate impression that we could easily sell the property if we changed our minds. Little did we know that this decision would lead to a series of frustrating and disappointing experiences over the subsequent years. From 2018 to 2020, we encountered countless difficulties in finding available destinations. Despite promises of varied and exotic locations, our searches yielded only limited options, mostly centered around *******. To salvage our investment, we had to pay additional fees to transfer points to the next year, only to find that the availability issues persisted. Overall, dealing with your company has been a never-ending headache. We have been subjected to hostile sales meetings complete with pushy, rude salespeople who will stop at nothing to ensnare us in whatever scheme they have concocted. This type of behavior is horrendous, and you should be ashamed for allowing and encouraging such blatant deception. Consumers need to be aware that the language used emphasized exclusivity, is simply a lie, this is a timeshare without value past, present or future.

We apologize that you feel you were pressured into purchasing our timeshare. We want to clarify that there is a 10-day rescission period after purchase if you wish to cancel. Availability of destinations can vary, and booking within the 12-month period typically offers the best chance of securing reservations. Additionally, there are webinars available on our owner website to provide a better understanding of our program. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our services. If you have any further concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly.

I tried getting offer that Marriot Vacations Club offered me a price online to book for 3 nights 4 days at $299. While calling to secure reservation they said it would now be $499. They also would not allow me to schedule the 90 minute presentation on one of my days that I was available due to the other 2 days I would be visiting family. They stated I couldn't attend the presentation on day of check in although I told them I could be there by 7am and available all day. They said it wasn't possible I would have to do it on one of the 2 days I was with family. So they are trying to get me to come down, stay at the resort, possibly purchase their timeshare, and I told them I was totally available on the 9th and they stated they couldn't accommodate me on check in date. I asked for refund of my $200 and they refused.

Additionally, please note that we do not offer tours on the first or last day of your arrival. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.
