Horrible, absolutely horrible service and costumer service!This piece of s*** company have horrible employees that dont give a s*** about their clients or their schedules when it come to pick **** they promise certain pick up and drop off windows, and their carriers never show up in time, causing extensive delays and extra costs to you.They failed to pick up my last order in the explicitly requested time window, and charged me a cancellation fee even after their Failure to fulfill their part of the contract and I had to dispute their ridiculousness charge with my credit card company.And needless to say, that their prices are horrible, it is much better to go straight to the freight companies!DO NOT SHIP WITH THIS S***** COMPANY, unless you want to deal with all kinds of head aches!FreightCenter

FreightCenter is a 3rd party logistics company; therefore, we do not handle or transport freight; we simply connect the shipper to a carrier.
As a Third-Party Logistics Company, FreightCenter requests a pickup from the freight carrier on the requested day. Unfortunately, they don’t always make it to pick up on that requested day. When this happens, they will roll it over to the next business day.
The carrier did arrive to pick up your shipment on the requested day and time window that you requested and was told by the shipper that the freight was not ready. Therefore, the carrier charged a TONU fee for the attempted pick-up.
Please refer to our Terms & Conditions sections below. This should clarify any questions that you may have regarding our cancellation policy.

Absolutely positively terrible. They failed to tell me that I needed to schedule a home delivery to my residence. I had to pay a technician $350 to come to my house for absolutely nothing just to receive his check turn around and drive back to Corpus Christi, there are hundreds of better choices than this company. Please read the reviews and be warned.FreightCenter

Normally when delivering to a residence, the freight carrier will call and make delivery arrangements. In your case, the carrier put it on the truck for delivery. Were sorry for the mix up. Were glad your shipment was delivered at 12:21 pm on the day you wanted it and you didnt have to pay a technician for nothing.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I scheduled a pickup on April 26th, 2024 with Evan *******, the National Account Manager at FreightCenter, Inc. He recommended that I select their 'better' freight carrier, ABF Freight, for a cost of $627, which I paid. The piece of freight was/is a wooden swing that was picked up in Brownsville TX, and delivered to Bush, LA. When the shipment arrived in Bush, LA, the swing was broken, so we refused to accept the shipment. The ABF Freight driver told us that someone in the ABF Freight warehouse hit the swing with a forklift. I notified the manufacturer in Brownsville, TX, who quickly began the insurance claim process. Today, (June 07, 2024) I received an email from Evan ******* at FreightCenter Inc saying that his carrier denied the claim and "there's nothing he can do". So, I've now been robbed of $627 by FreightCenter Inc, and the swing (my parents' 50th Anniversary gift) was sent back to Brownsville TX, where it still sits. So, I repeat...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! (unless you ENJOY getting robbed....THEN give Evan a call). ***I do NOT give this company 1 star. I was required to select a star in order to leave my review.***FreightCenter

We checked with the carrier and were told that FreightCenter must file the claim. We filed a claim for the freight charges last week.

Shipment price was fair ($400)and shipment was delivered as advertised. Until I got a random $305 charge 1 week after with no notice or receipt. Called them and they said the business they picked up from was limited access because it has a house on premise. It is a registered and operating business with warehouse buildings. It's not a residential address it's a registered business with a forklift. They quoted me from this address to mine 400 not 700 End of story. Then they claimed we discussed this which we didn't, trust me I would have remembered. There are hundreds of other reviews similar to mine online. Even if xpo did charge that fee there's not a chance it's $300. Probably closer to $100. Shady business and now I have my credit card company fighting the charge.FreightCenter

FreightCenter is a 3rd party logistics company; therefore, we do not handle or transport freight; we simply connect the shipper to a carrier. As such, the liability lies with the carrier because they are handling and transporting your cargo.
We understand billing adjustments are an inconvenient part of the shipping process and we do our very best to ensure our shippers avoid them at all costs. Please note that all carriers verify the information provided on the cargo they handle and if there are any discrepancies with what was reporting during the quote phase and the actual services as noted by the carrier, a billing adjustment is issued by the carrier.
We understand that you have a business on your property, but the driver deemed it limited access as there is a residence on the same property. If you could provide a document stating that the property is zoned commercial, we could try to dispute the charge with the carrier. These types of charges are hard to dispute however.
Again, we apologize as this experience as we always strive to deliver outstanding customer service.

Our experience with this business was awful. As a broker, they performed a bait & switch with the freight quote. We were quoted an amount and then double charged 10 days later due to "carrier adjustments". After disputing, FreightCenter replied with a reason which we proved was a lie. Then, FreightCenter and the carrier changed the reason for the adjustment. When we asked for additional support to justify the adjustment, FreightCenter failed /refused to provide and simply replied they were unsuccessful in disputing the charge with the carrier. FreightCenter will most likely reply to this review with "reasons" why this happened always defaulting to the fact they're simply the broker and stuck in the middle. The point to understand is that they will attempt to charge you more, costing you time to dispute. If they can't help you, why use them? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.FreightCenter

We understand billing adjustments are an inconvenient part of the shipping process and we do our very best to ensure our shippers avoid them at all costs.
With your shipment, the delivery location is gated, and the driver has to stop to be let in. This is what is known as Limited Access. The carrier charges a fee for that. Your sales representative did not add that charge on the front side of your shipment. Because of that, we are removing the charge from your shipment. The credit card that you used for your shipment will be refunded by end of business today.
Again, we apologize for your experience as this is not the standard FreightCenter experience. If you have any additional questions or if we can provide further assistance, please feel free to contact us.

*********************** was so helpful to us in finding a shipper for a Maranatha Caring Mission shipment. I know we live in a highly electronic world where everything is done on a computer but it was very nice to find a human being to talk to. I was told my 2 pieces of family heirloom furniture would be packed and put on a pallet to be protected. Freight Center assured me that they were an appropriate company to use to move items. One of the pieces arrived extremely damaged, almost beyond repair. I have heard nothing from them for 4 months regarding my claim. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYFreightCenter

First and foremost, were sorry to hear that your shipment was damaged. We understand how discovering damage can be very frustrating.
Unlike the standard LTL carriers we use,the carrier used for your shipment transports unpackaged freight. We use them to palletize freight to ship on an LTL truck or use them to ship your items the entire way.
Unfortunately, no additional valuation protection was purchased, therefore the standard liability coverage is $0.60 per lb.
Your claim was approved by the carrier for the limited liability. As soon as we receive the funds, we will send a check out to you.We apologize for your experience as this is not the standard FreightCenter experience.

Interesting that you replied here but not to my emails. I was told my furniture would be protected and palletized. It was not and thus it was damaged. Your company did not do what I paid you to do.
