      I wish you had a zero stars category. This place is filthy. They are constantly changing appointments dues to machine malfunctions but mainly, they read the result horrifically. Try going somewhere else!

      My appointment was at 8:15 am they had me waiting for 30 minutes before they told the machine was not working. Send me to tamarac office for an appointment at 4:00 pm now its 5:45, I have not been seen yet. They keep telling me 10 or 5 more minutes this is not good for a business this big. Why would they schedule an appointment and make you wait for 2 hours or more. Im getting an MRI Im in pain, do they care about their patients? No they dont its 6 pm and Im still waiting. This is ridiculous. I just got my MRI done its 6:25 pm. I lost over 3hours to get this done not happy with this place

      My name is ****** ******** Not even one star the place is so dirty outside , I went in for an MRI august 16 ****************************************************** it will be send to my doctor nothing no answer from them either tried so many times e-mail them nothing no respond I even when in and no one could help me the director was no there at tajar time

      Terrible customer service. I had scheduled a mri scan appoinment a week ahead of time and provided all insurance info. A week later, 1 day before my appointment i am told the insurance has not approved my service yet. I called my insurance and i was told they submitted the request just 2 days before the appointment and it can take 2-3 business days for approval. I had already requested time off my job and worked my day around this appointment so this is a big inconvenience.Additionally, when i asked about the payment plans for my co-pay, i was told by one *** that it can be done, and then another *** said they cant do that... When i asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, i was placed on hold and then they hung up on me. The second time , i was on hold for 30 minutes and the 3rd time i was told they are in a meeting. I asked for an email address to contact a supervisor or manager and i was told they were not allowed to give that info.This company is unprofessional, has low work ethic, and do not care about their patients. Dont go here. look elsewhere.

      They do not care for their staff or for their business, they completely gutted and blind sided their entire employee staff over the past few years. I had the solemn privy to work for them and after seeing Akumin of ************** in a state of complete dissaray and the employee base miserable I had decided to quit. This is a business that is a scam and ********** Blue Shield of Florida has withheld money from any employee who quit unfairly and unjustly under false practices. They have denied Military Veterans any sort of cohesive help and unemployment benefits and they are absolutely The Devil in this failing American Healthcare System. Do I make myself clear the *** needs to do a complete and thorough investigation into where all the money has been going the past several months if not years. And Justice for those who deserve it needs to be served lest this country devolves more and more into chaos where corporates are allowed to ruin the lives of good Americans

      The worst service ever. Incompetent front desk flecks. Took me for ever to be attended. O top of all, they dont send the results to my doctor. Terrible. Will not use this place ever again. Will not recommend it to anyone and will advice my doctor also.

      Once again Akumin has proved that they could care less about anyone. I have had so many issues in the past but this one takes the cake! I need a CT scan and went directly to the Akumin office in ****************. a month ago, gave the paperwork, including dr ****** etc and it was scanned and I was told they would get the auth. I have gotten at least 5 texts in the last 3 days don't forget about the ****. today I get a text - **** canceled!!!! I called to find out why and they said Humana has not gotten back to them w/approval, seriously. I was getting very frustrated and evidently the guy I was speaking to was laughing, guess he thought my frustration was funny to which I told him it's not funny, he apologized, told him apology didn't mean a thing. Said he understands the situation, told him bull c*** and after a few other choice sentences (w/o cursing) I went on Humana site and there is no submission for the testing, Akumin dropped the ball again, spoke w/agent at Humana and there is no request. Never going back to them again, will get all my cds etc and go somewhere else and pray for the best. I also have to cancel a dr. **** because the **** is based on the results of the ct scan which will now take longer to get . If I could give -150 I would

      Horrible - called can't get information Never sent referral had to go around to get it ourself. Called again, given the runaround. Eventually could make an appointment because this is where insurance says we can go- waited months for appointment, then told at the day of test after we arrived that we need cd's of past results and reports are not acceptable. This was all for us trying to find out about a cancer diagnosis from this place. If I could give 0 I would. In addition to the incompetence of everyone we spoke with they were also rude. We are talking about potential cancer - something needs to be done about this company

      These people have NO idea on what theyre doing. As a self pay/paid in full, they keep asking me for my insurance card. It took them over ******************************************************************************************************* because of their lack of training on how to charge my credit card. They advise me had had to wait another 2 hours. I rescheduled my visit for the following week, even though this location is 50 minutes away from my home. I arrived at my scheduled appointment and was again unable to complete the appointment because they had been doing construction and as a person with asthma and allergies I was unable to breathe and bike out in hives. They reached my appointment to another location 40 minutes away from my home for the following week. Even though I arrived 20 minutes before my scheduled time they did not call me to the front desk till about 15 minutes after my appointment scheduled time only to ask me how Im going to pay. I advised the front desk lady that I was already paid in full, well that whole fiasco took another 30 minutes to resolve and yes you guessed it right, they let people go before me again. Once again telling me I have to wait another hour 1/2 more or less. I rescheduled my visit to Saturday, June 8 at 3 PM today in the morning. I got a text asking me to confirm my appointment at 3 PM, I replied yes. At 4:40. I got another text message asking me to confirm my appointment for 11 AM.. I called customer service. Nobody seems to know what theyre doing. They gave me the phone number to the facility and nobody answers. And yes they continue asking me to provide my insurance card even though I am a self-pay and already paid in full.

      I think Akumin Corp. is taking advantage of its dominance in imaging. Very disorganized. Communications from on site facility and appointment call center. I have reached out to corporate after yesterdays fiasco of an appointment made and 2 hours later I get a call from facility stating no one communicated to call center that bon density machine was down. She also stated she had about 15 more calls to cancel appointments. Not good use of employees
