      Advertise Care Credit accepted, has Care Credit application / paperwork information however would not, did not take Care Credit. Desk Staff could not resolve and no management support.

      COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT USE AKUMIN! I drove my 81 year old Mother to this location one hour away due to having the procedure done quicker as her pain level was intolerable. She had an *** for extreme pain at the ************* location on May 13, 2024. We called for results on the 15th, 16th, and by the 17th the fifth day after the *** results were still NOT READ SO the girl on the phone told me she would send it as a stat. Told me I would get the results in 2-3 hours. NOTHING. Called the 18th Saturday and GUESS WHAT??? NOTHING WAS READ! So I was told we had to wait until MONDAY. Finally on Monday called and the report was in, but PATIENT PORTAL WAS DOWN and if I wanted her results I needed to GO TO A AKUMIN NEAR **. THIS IS SO INEXCUSABLE. She has been in tremendous pain for a week unnecessarily due to the NEGLIGENCE of this company. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

      The Miami VA uses ********* care sources when they are not able to provide timely medical studies/procedures in a timely manner for veterans who need medical attention On may 9 person from Akumin called me asking me a series preliminary questions. One of the last questions was "Do you have frequent falls, any Mobility or Balance issues?." I said yes. She asked me "What kind of issues" I told her I was an SCI patient and I use a ****** and a Mobility device. She said I would have to bring a person to assist me. My first thought was "If they are so concerned with liability, perhaps it would be prudent for them to lead with this question. That would save alot of time in asking questions that are "truly important for the study "What a horrible experience. Find someone who has the proper insurance so they dont have to worry about liability

      Ive been emailing Billing at Akumin.com, I received a *** imaging bill and was told my insurance would cover. This was during the computer shut down or technical issues Akumin was having in October ***. I have called and put for a call back after automated system says 20+ in queue. This imaging center is unprofessional and spreads false billing information, if a service is not covered let the customer know ahead of time or notify to call insurance, dont say its zero copay and charge *** 3 months later and threaten collections.

      Terrible company. So different at different locations. At one time, I arrived for my appointment and was told the machine was broken. No call to ask about rescheduling.Another time I needed an MRI and one of the techs was ******* me in a crazy manner. I heard her tell the other tech, right in front of me, "She is the one who was late." Then I knew why she was pushing me so much. Problem was - I wasn't late, I was early. She "thought" I was that person and treated me horribly. It was awful. The male person who brought me into the waiting room was standoffish and only said to change into a gown and pointed at a table. I heard him bringing others in and treating them kindly. Maybe he thought I was the late one! I should never have been treated that way. Additionally, at that location, someone's records were open on a table near the waiting room. So much for privacy. I am trying to find another place so I never need to go there again.Last point - There is a privacy policy in the office, and it is not the same as the online privacy policy. I had to do a lot of searching. Before this page, I found a number for corporate billing. I am on hold as someone is trying to help me get to a privacy officer. They are very shady about contacting the privacy officer. I am wondering if they actually have one. A frustrating company.

      If I could leave zero, I would. I have been ******* by this company, Ft. Lauderdale, federal highway location so many times. Now I’m with a friend and have been here 3 times to get an mri. The whole time I sit in the waiting room, I am listening to patients complaining because they come for their appointment and something is missing. I will never come here again. I would advise everyone to avoid them.

      ******** location, 1. they lost my Dr ****** 2. then after my Dr ****** the order it took them 2 days to call and set up the appointment. Made the appointment on Monday morning for Wednesday at 2:30 3. They waited 30 minutes before my appointment to call and say they couldnt do the *** because my stimulater wasnt compatible with their machine. At the time I made the appointment they required me to email them a picture of my stimulator card. Never will use this place again.

      Akumin was hacked and #1 they never told me. #2 they changed me ****** instead of ***** ? They refunded ***** . #3 they gave me a terrible excuse of the report ,I already was aware of the information ? A 2 year old could make this report !!! Advice me to get a MRI ,the test was a waste of time and money.

      I set an appointment with Akumin at their Palm Harbor,
      Florida location with a referral for an ultrasound and mammogram for a
      suspicious lump on my breast. I paid $350 as I'm self pay to have these
      performed. I was given a CD with the images to take to the radiologist I
      was going to, as Akumin waited 1 week and a half to call me back with
      the price for the results, which I needed to know as it was going to
      cost $1100 for the 2 biopsies alone. I waited for the call, which is odd
      that they don't have those prices available on the spot but I also had
      questions about the procedure and surprise no one in the office could
      answer that either. Dawn assured me she would call me, so after waiting a
      week and a half I took the CD to another place, only to find out there
      was nothing at all on it! That radiologist I went to had to re due both
      the ultrasound & the mammogram that I had already paid for and
      endured as the mammogram was very painful. I went into their office to
      find out what was going on and was told they had a security breach and
      nothing was working. Their phones, computer system nor the patient
      portal where I supposedly could have seen the images were all
      inaccessible. I want a refund for the services I had to repeat due their
      blatant incompetence. I will not stop until this is made right. You
      played with my health while I waited for your call and then again with a
      blank CD that almost caused me to have to wait another 2 weeks for the
      biopsies. This is not acceptable for a medical business of any kind. You
      do not play with peoples health like that, and to have an attitude
      about it when I confront the office staff is simply adding salt to the
      wound. Shame on all of you.

      Worst place ever...call service very very bad, they do not know anything and now they have been canceling my appointment cause service is down...no call not text showed up there...
