I tried to place an order on ************************ and was denied my order because I was denied the flex pay option. HSN then proceeded to remove $40 from my checking account which then said pending on my account. About 2 days later, the transaction completely disappeared from my bank account and my $40 was never refunded. Why, if you are denied an order, are they taking money from you?Business Response

I apologize for the experience you had with your order as a new customer. A temporary authorization is placed when the order was submitted, however since the order was cancelled the pending authorization was released which is why it disappeared. No funds were settled for this order. If you are showing funds being charged, please provide the bank statement for further review.

Im a senior on Oct.31 I placed an order (********** for item number ****** which was a HP 15.6 touch ***** N100 laptop. I immediately received a confirmation thanking me for my order. I checked my ***** and ****** had been withdrawn. I then received a email minutes later stating they didnt have enough inventory to fill my order hoping that they have it in by 11/30. I called requesting a refund and cancelled the order. At that time the entire transaction was deleted from my ***** ***** meaning couldnt reverse the charges due to the withdrawal no longer showing on my account. Ive contact ******************** three times to no avail. I even talked to a Supervisor ******? who stated my funds would be transferred to my account, which they have not. Id like to know how was the transaction deleted from my ***** ***** and why the charge hasnt been reversed after assuring me that it would. I desperately need my funds returned. Additionally, I show a partial refund of $7.00 was issued on the replacement order to compensate for the defective pump. Unfortunately, we are not able to send out replacement pumps for this item.

I purchased a Eureka Bagless canister vac from HSN using a $5 mailed coupon code. It had not shipped out when I discovered that ****** had the same vac for ***** plus 10 per cent off coupon. I called HSN customer service to cancel the order. The *** was unable to cancel the order. She then spoke to a supervisor and they were able to approve a price match and could refund me the difference of $21.49 to my original payment method once the item shipped out. Notes were made on my account and I was told to call HSN for the refund when I received the order shipping email. I did this and the ***/supervisor I spoke to said they could not issue the refund at that time and I would have to wait until the first two flex pays "cleared". The supervisor also informed me that they really do not price match and she would have to put it "on her calendar" to issue the refund on the Flex Pay dates. In addition, the $5 mailed coupon was supposed to be available to use multiple times from 10/25 to November 30. I was able to use it on the vac but it didn't work on any other items. This is also ridiculous.Business Response

Our customer service team is only able to refund up to the amount that has been charged, this is why they advised to call back after the second flex payment for the remaining $6.50 refund. I have issued the refund now and you should see this on your method of payment within 3-5 business days depending on your financial institution.

I placed an order for an headphone set, decided to return the item back to HSN. I went through the return procedures and printed the label provide by HSN,with the address HSN National Cellular *********************************; the post office stated the address was incomplete and I could not mail the item to that address. I looked up a maiing address for HSN and sent the item there with the return label inside the item. HSN is saying I should have called them to get the correct address, which ***** provided (National Cellular ****************************************,) I provided her the tracking number and she said HSN could not refund my money because they can't locate the product. So its my fault that they provided an incomplete address. I think they should have put the correct address on THEIR site or in the 6 lines of instructions on the return item page.Business Response

Receive defective items. Call customer service. Explain what is wrong with the item. They would tell me they would waive the shipping fee use the label included in package **** defective. I noticed that any item that has been sent back I am not receiving my shipping fee that I paid for defective items and sometimes charged because as the supervisor explained it's up to the warehouse determination on whether they feel the item is defective on whether they will give you your shipping return fee. I have been with HSN for many years along standing customer who purchases numerous products. I have only sent back items that have been defective and have always called customer service and explained what is wrong with the item prior to sending the item back with the postage paid label and customer service waving the fee. And I would like my refund fees for my return items. I know that customer service is recorded conversation. I explained to the supervisor they can look into this and see that I did explain it. But they feel the determination is really up to the warehouse even without the supervisor looking at the item that is defective. I would appreciate your help in this matter. I do not feel that I should be paying a shipping fee whether it's to be shipped or returned fee if an item is defective. I asked the supervisor if he could look into that and he said they don't have anyone to be able to do so. I would appreciate your help thank you.Business Response
