I am a 75 year old person that Purchased furniture and there was error on the delivery date where the 31st was placed instead of 25th. No one cared that I had sold old furniture and that my family was sitting now on the floor. Called and left message for salesperson but call never returned. I suggest that they should something to handle criticism as this or other where family are in need. I guess sale was made salesperson got his commission they all happy and was just #$%$. Will not purchase anything from them again.Rooms To Go

Very disappointed with the quality . In less than a year Product just deteriorated . Bought a guarantee from them and didnt cover the damaged. The cushions are made with very bad quality. I sit on my sofa and sink with very low usage in less than a year. Wont be giving rooms to go my money again.Rooms To Go

Worst customer experience I have ever had & I have been in customer service for over 20 years. Just a few months after purchasing a sleeper sectional we began having issues. 3 tech visits later, they told us they would have to take the piece in for repair. 3 weeks later they delivered us someone else's couch! The first rep we spoke to called us liars, the second just hung up & the third finally agreed to send us a new sleeper. That seemed great except that it doesn't match the other side of the couch or line up as they were made a few years apart. Again a tech comes out to our house and fails to record the visit. So when we call back to speak with a rep again not only are we called liars, we are yelled at then hung up on. We decided to reach out directly to the warranty company (our warranty should still be in good standing as we did not ask for a new couch due to warranty and were also promised that it would not impact our warranty). The warranty company informed us that Rooms To Go has put in notes not to engage with our account. At this point we began recording the calls & informing the reps we were doing so as we couldn't believe how we were being treated and simply wanted a functional / matching couch. Only then were we finally put in contact with someone higher up that didn't yell at us and was able to send a tech. We had to follow up 2 weeks later after not hearing back. The results, we shouldn't expect them to match or line up since one side is newer. They delivered us another persons couch and continue to tell us that they did us a "courtesy" by giving us a new part. It's not a courtesy when that part doesn't line up or match. We are now stuck making payments on a couch that you can't even lay across. The amount of time we have put in to calls & days off for house visits would have paid this couch off by now. It's simply outrageous that we are getting treated so horribly due to their faulty construction and mismanagement, by drivers or the warehouse.Rooms To Go

If you use ROOMS TO GO to deliver furniture to ***** ******* Island, or any island for that matter, YOU MUST make certain that they follow your directions explicitly to get to the home. Because if they don't, and their 3rd party contractor gets stuck, as was the case for us, and as a result the entire process became an absolute, "Living Nightmare," you will end up not only having spent $3000.00 additional for the barge to take the truck out to the island along with the $584.95 fee charge for delivery/setup and trash removal, you could very well end up paying a lot more like us. We had to pay our own property mangers and their employees who have to use their golf carts and trailers out there to make many trips back and forth unloading furniture from the stuck in the sand delivery truck to the house plus days after.
I provided the Operations Manager, with SEIDS along with other supervisors there the information along with Rooms To Go customer service personnel. They were both sympathetic for lack of a better word, but their supervisors were rude and quite unprofessional to say the least and even my wife and daughter who is medical device sales in Texas where we were at the time and visiting and got on the phone as I was on speaker phone, both had to voice their opinions having overheard the conversation. I wish I had his name to provide. Because this home is an active remodel/renovation going on and there were construction people and my property manager and their people there, the people from SEIDS and Rooms To Go sided with their people and the photos their driver, "Who didn't follow the instructions in the first place, thus resulting in the absolute disaster that followed," and all of which I explained numerous times, was totally disregarded. I provided an invoice reflecting an additional $2450.00 my 88 years old mother and owner of property had to pay, and we're still not done. Texts and emails can be provided if needed. I can identify with the multitude of negative experiences with Rooms to Go, as we will be sleeping on the floor tonight. I too have spent a great deal of money with Rooms to Go over time. They failed to deliver our bedroom set because they said the driver could not get in touch with us. I constantly checked the app, looking for some kind of indication that my delivery was eminent. Pictures of a truck sitting someplace doesn’t help to explain the failure on the part of RTG. I kept track of this throughout the day and the delivery time constantly kept changing. When they did call and it did not come through to me they did not leave a message. I was told by the Daytona store that they don’t have the capacity to leave a text. The rooms to go app to track your delivery was not specific at all. It never said they would be here in 20 minutes or that they were on their way or you are the next stop, etc. I was given no reason why they could not have gone to the front door of the building and buzz me to tell me they were here. The corporate office told me that they were here, They could give me no reason why they would not have done that (they tried the excuse that the drivers are allowed to only talk to the person on the order, but all apartment and condo buildings have a way to buzz the owner directly). I do not find fault with the drivers. They were following Rooms to Go’s inept policies. Corporate also stated that the driver will not get paid if the delivery is not completed, thus driver also pays the penalty for RTG’s shortsighted policies. This is RTG’s “no customer service, service”. I have had countless deliveries and never have had any problem before this one. There is need for a script reply, as others have stated. My only purpose in posting this experience is, “Buyer Beware”.Rooms To Go

025 Last year i purchased a living room set from rooms to go. Initially they delivered damaged items, then tried to cover the damage with marker, but the scratch marks on the wood furniture was so bad that they couldn’t cover it properly. So I refused to keep the item, then they replaced it. The sofa set color started fading in 6 months, arm rest stitches fell off the place in 3 months of purchase. Customer service representative was very rude and unhelpful. Since i had credit card with them i made another purchase for bedroom set. When the delivery arrived i requested the delivery guys to wear shoe caps inside the house since I have a crawling baby with low immunity lives in the house. They refused to do that. Then the delivery guy called someone on his phone and that lady told me that i need to reschedule the delivery and i can make a special request too bring shoe covers next time. So i called customer service to reschedule the delivery and a person named Lorenzo told me that they can’t have delivery guys to wear shoe covers, hence I requested to cancel the purchase, then he says I will only get partial refund because of me not compromising my family safety. He was soi rude that he refused me to connect to a manager or someone with higher authority. I would never recommend this store to anyoneRooms To Go

We decided to try them for a second time after our first experience was horrible. This one has turned out to be equally as bad. One piece arrived stained, they insisted a tech come to clean it, it'w worse then before it was touched. I asked if I could buy a more expensive pice in exchange for the ruined ottoman. They would ONLY allow an exchange for another ottoman. Management obviously follows a prewritten script which is insulting to clients. The policies are ridiculous and lack any customer service what so ever. They would rather loose a customer than make a bad situation right againRooms To Go

I purchase a split king bed with adjustable bases and it was a demo. Before buying I asked what happens if there is issue with sleeping on the mattresses and was informed by the sales person that "we must keep 30 days as a trail and than can exchange for a small delivery fee. Having been told this I went ahead with the purchase of over 5000.00 dollars. My wife was on a firm mattress that seemed ok at store but after a day or so made her very sore all over every morning and never did sleep the whole night so after 33 days went back to store to try out a medium one and was told that because it was a demo there is no exchange. I had planned on exchanging the mattress and buying a4500 sofa, love seat and recliner. I will never enter that store again and feel the salesperson lied to us to make the sale.Rooms To Go

A very poor delivery with missing assembly hardware- Nuts and bolts to install bed frames. I paid installation charges upfront and it was delivered without any delay and delivered with care. But missing hardware to assemble. Really?? What a poor way of quality inspection they do. If these guys not going to resolve this issue in a day, I will not go back to RoomsToGo again.Rooms To Go
