      I have entered a Rooms to Go store once in my life, and that was 10 years ago! The $5,758.76 I spent on my first and only purchase from *** was on November 22, 2024. Let me start at the end and then if you are interested, you can read why I came to my recommendation that you go somewhere else to shop.There are much better values out there than RTG. I base my conclusion on the fact that they must use high pressure commissioned sales staff to sell the really profitable add-ons like extra warranties and delivery upcharges. I ordered on-line expecting to waive a salesperson's commission but as it turned out, a salesperson from a store 440 miles from my home called me, his name was ******** *******, in ******, *****. So much for on-line ordering. The way it is set up is as a sales referral portal, not true on-line ordering. This guy was telling me how the $500.89 RTG free delivery charge was because the furniture came out of *******, he was saying what a good deal that was to hire 2 people to just come to ******* for delivery. Then he spent an inordinate amount of time trying to sell the extended care warranty (I didnt buy). Since Im talking to a real live person I ask for a better price since I was buying multiple items and paying in advance, all to be delivered at once. He told me that this furniture was well made in *****************. He did not offer me any discount on the furniture, it was beyond his control. ***, I later learned that my upholstered furniture was made in *****. Now, heres what happened after the sale (which I paid up front when ordering!); I was told that the two ottomans were out of stock and I would wait two months to get them, I accepted this reluctantly. So, now, remember, I ordered and paid on the 22nd of November. My $500.89 delivery charged order was not going to be delivered until the 16th of December! So much for two people in a truck bringing a hot shot to *******. As it turns out, two guys did deliver it, they were from-

      Bought the ****** heights manual reclining sofa. Feels nothing like the one on display. Hard as a rock. And my feet hang off the legs of the footrest. Im 5ft 4 this couch is far too small for anyone taller than me. Im so upset because the moment they delivered it and i sat on it. I hated it. And i cant return it.

      ****** **** was our Salesperson. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and thorough in helping us find the furniture that suited our needs. This helped to make the somewhat stressful experience of buying furniture a pleasure, thanks to him.       Bought a teak table patio set outdoor. I have it maybe 7 months. Its absolutely disgusting. Im ashamed of it. Cant evfn get it clean. Plus Im still Paying on it. Dont buy it. Its garbage pure garbage. And Im a clean freak it looks like it should be in the garbage I paid over 700 dollars for it

      Instead of the same response you give everyone who gives a bad review it looks like to me you need to do some cleaning up on your customer support team because they suck and you should definitely see this in these reviews.

      Criminals steal protection plan and warranty money, verbalize what this will cover, then find out it covers nothing they say it does. Will be filing court paperwork for money to be returned.

      I should have looked at recent reviews before our purchase. Since we had been loyal customers of ********************** for years, we assumed we would continue to receive the high-quality furniture we were accustomed to. Until now, we never had any issues with their products. However, the living room furniture set we bough just over a year ago is already showing significant wear- losing its cushion, piling, and discoloration. These are wear and tear when the product is several years old not something that is still relatively new. When I contacted the Guard It extended warranty that we purchased, they stated that wear and tear is not covered only mechanical and electronic portion. I would understand if my furniture was over 5 years old, but at just over a year (conveniently pas the manufacturer's warranty), it looks like its been used for decades. Meanwhile, we still have furniture that was purchased 7 years ago and they look better than our new sofa set. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for furniture. The quality is poor now and they will not do anything to fix it even if you purchase the extended warranty.

      Absolutely inexcusable lack of accountability or care for their customers. I placed a large order for my disabled father with them and set a delivery date. I received a part of the order through UPS and opted to have them deliver two recliners. I took the day off of work to ensure that I could have the area ready and be present for delivery. They delayed the delivery time (1:00pm) stating mechanical issues with the delivery truck. No problem, thats understandable. I get a text stating that the delivery is on its way (5:00pm). Then at 5:30 I get a voicemail stating that they didnt know my house was so far away from their location and that they couldnt make the delivery tonight. I called them back to reschedule thinking it would be the next day. They inform me that it would be at least another week before they could make the delivery. I explained that this was not going to work because I cant leave my disabled father without a place to sit. They completely disregarded my concerns and informed me that there was nothing they could do. I promptly requested a refund on the chairs and decided that I would have to go buy them at an actual store so my father can have a place to sit. I was informed that they cant process a refund because my delivery was on the truck. I offered to go pick the furniture up and was told that wasnt an option. At this point I was so disgusted with their lack of care or accommodation that I requested a full refund and inquired about how to return the items that were delivered through UPS. I was informed that I could pay their 3rd party company to come pick them up, pay and have UPS ship them to them, or drive three hours to their warehouse and drop them off. I am absolutely blown away by the lack of care or regard for customer service that was displayed by this company and wonder how they actually maintain a customer base. I would strongly urge you to reconsider using them if you are considering their products.
