I originally ordered from divine origins back on March 31 of 2022. I ordered one book, the exodus effect, which was advertised as an ancient healing oil mixture that was biblically based and had a history of healing various ailments and diseases. The charge was $67. I expected to get a book that would be worth spending $67 on, with an accurate historical account explaining the biblical connections and implications of this healing oil formula and how to make and use it. Instead, I received a paperback booklet that was about an eight of an inch thick, with a cannabis plant and a partial scripture on the cover that read, This is to be my sacred anointing oil for generations to comeIt is sacred, and you are to consider it sacredIt shall be most holy to you. Exodus 30 (the means scripture is left out and Exodus 30 should have shown 30:(verse number?). The 30 tells which book in Exodus, but wheres the verse number? No one who quotes scripture leaves out the verse, ever.Heres what and why the Divine Origins people neglected to share with their unsuspecting customers . The REAL and COMPLETE scripture explains that the oil, to be made by ***** as a holy anointing oil to the Lord, was meant for anointing the holy tent, the priests, holy utensils in the tent used by the priests, and those who would become priests ONLY. It was also stated in verse 33, Whoever mixes any like it or whoever puts any of it on a ****** shall be cut off from his people. Exodus? ?30:33? This oil was NEVER meant for just anyones use, nor was it said to have healing qualities. (Read Exodus 30:22-33 to get the full, exact scripture). This book and formula only take advantage of trusting, ailing people of faith, who hope to find healing in natural ways. The company continued with charges of $69, $29, and a repeated $19.13 per month over several months. I reported the fraudulent charges to my bank and cancelled my bank card. This was a hard ******* but God was good in the correcting process.Initial Complaint

I ordered Exodus Effect and was charged $75.53 initially on 12/4/22. My credit card was subsequently charged without my authorization:12/18/22 $19.71 1/18/23 $ **** 2/18/23 $ **** 3/18/23 $ **** Totaling $124.64 they scammed from me. This book is not worth the price of the paper it is printed on!!! ****** learned for me! I will never purchase from Divine Origins again. I feel they should also have to learn a valuable ****** that not everyone they scam will take it lying down! Thus my filing of this complaint.Business Response

In October 2021 I ordered their ebook but did not receive it.. I still haven't received either of the ebooks. They started billing my credit card $18/month. I thought I had cancelled the charges but it was on a credit card that we both use and was not careful in checking all of the charges until now. Also, I didn't know I signed up for their $18/month charge when I ordered the book. I never got any emails from them about anything. What a dishonest company, to ***** in charges in small print and what a dishonest company to never provide their ebook. I will be more careful the next time I think I want to read a book.Business Response

2.26.2023... I received a very thin booklet not a book but a booklet that is entitled Exodus effect. Very disappointing. In the ad what I thought I was going to be getting was his Exodus effect booklet and three others I just got the Exodus effect booklet that is really just trying to advertise their oil which is too darn expensive so I ordered the booklet to hopefully learn how to make it and find out where to get it but instead of that I didn't get a lot except in advertisement that's trying to talk me into buying the oil which is too expensive. I'm very disappointed I wanted something that would help me healthwise but I think all this is trying to do is fleece the flock as the expression goes and not give any help!!!!Initial Complaint

This is a recurring charge, did not authorize such a charge and wish to be deleted from their system, refunded for all past charges. This is bogus system set up to extract money through an automated charge to my bank account. Further charges will result in legal action.Initial Complaint

I ordered the Exodus Effect book from this company. The book does not tell how to make the oil as promised. I was charged two transactions, one for $31.32 and another for $72.36. I have no idea what the larger charge is for. I would like to return the book and get a refund for both. I did not authorize the $72.36 charge to my bank account.Initial Complaint

I ordered one booklet and some of their so-called trinity oil. Upon ordering I was charged the appropriate fees for the products and shipping. Ever since Ive been charged a monthly fee of $18 for no reason. I certainly did not authorize that. I would hope that this company is made to reimburse me for all those months of fees that they had no right to charge for. There is no product or service to warrant such charges.Customer Answer

On September 26th I ordered the exodus effect book and soon after 6 bottles of trinity oil (which is what I really wanted to order). The book fails to deliver on it's promise of telling you how to make the trinity oil, and I was charged 4 months for something called the prayer network. I am not sure I would have purchased the oil without the promise of being able to make more. I called the company and they only refunded 2 months and one of them they had cut the price. I would like a full refund for the book and recurring charges, and I would like to receivea partial refund for the oil. I am asking for a partial refund because I have given most of the bottles away for people to try so I am unable to return them.Business Response

I bought some books from exodus Effect, Divine origin on October 31 *****. I put the money on a card. ******. When I didnt get books I called and they had wrong information. So they sent books to right address I only got two out 6 . When I called them they said the others were e books I didnt order e books. They were a present for my mom who is 75 she cant download those nor did I know if I could transfer the download. The company also had hidden fees with that. I told them I wanted a refund. The card I used to purchase those books was deactivated because I got married and my new card can in mail and my card I used was deactivated. Exodus Effect said they could give me a virtual check. Ok I waited to get check and called about it in November, they said I would be on the list for them to send check to me. The rep. ***** know when the check would be issued. I would have to send back the books I received. So I sent the back with them having to sign showing they received them. So when I got tracking number I called them again. They said it would be listed under seamless check on my e mail , so I kept looking and calling when nothing happen. No email like that. I called again they said it would be under pay note in my e mail. Ive called on December 12, 16, 21, 27, now there saying it will be 24 hrs for me to get the virtual check, so I wait again called again on Jan 3,5,9of 2023. They dont dispute they owe me the money. There just not sending me a check. When I called today on January 9 2023 meme said it would be 24 hours. Every time I ask to speak to manager the representative comes back and says check is sent to email they dont know why Im not getting it. Ive checked email ,junk , and trash. My email is good because Im still getting advertisements from Exodus Effect or divine origins. So now I still waiting another 24 hours. I also wrote a email to the ************************* from where he was wanting me to purchase a subscription thats how I found out about fees.helpBusiness Response

Purchased a book. Continual debit of $18 was taken out of our debit card. No phone number available to contact them to find out why this is happening. Went to the bank on 1/3/23 and had to pay $35 for the bank to block anymore transactions by Divine Origins. So frustrating!!! We are obviously not alone ??.Business Response
