      We in good faith paid for home owner's insurance from this company and they have considered NO DAMGAGES submitted to them for consideration. They never ever got on or roof or considered the slider damage, fence damage, etc. **** did NOT consider anything. Our field adjuster was a new home purchase inspector and had no clue about disaster inspections. Never even got on the roof.. We have paid over over 60k out of pocket so far and were told that estimated damage was below deductible of ***** by American Integrity. This company is incompetent at best. It should be a criminal offense.

      Claim Number: CDP-******** American Integrity Insurance (AII)113 days since we filed claim,102 days since filed adjuster assessed our house,Dozens of calls (to the (6) desk adjusters)57 days since receiving an insanely ridiculous LOW BALL settlement offer of $1400. for $98,000 + of damage and loss of rental income 3 Field Adjusters now on our 6th Desk Adjuster (and counting)The insistence of AII is that the roof just needs a few shingles replaced. This is contrary to ************ licensed Florida roofing contractor License CCC# *******, **** *******, and CRC# ******* for 20+years said the roof needs to be replaced. Licensed General Contractor and licensed Florida roofer Exact Construction C**# ******* said it needed to be replaced. Desk Inspector (******) asked for justification why the roof must be replaced and both ************ and Exact construction said they would be glad to provide it but AII instantly changed desk adjuster once again and we start the process from the beginning again. Our pool cage was hit by 2 trees smashing several support members, multiple screen frames blown away, as well as most of the screening ripped away. Florida Building Code states a barrier shall be at least 48 inches above pool grade. This was NO longer in compliance, apparently AII was just fine with that, even after we notified them it was breaking the law.AII ignored any of the estimates and completely ignored the receipts we have sent them. We hired the home Inspector because we knew they didnt do a thorough job documenting the damage, that meant we as the homeowners had to do his job. But, when we are reporting damage and bills associated with the hurricane damage the desk adjuster would ignore them. We hired the ** to bid the items that needed to be repaired and again were ignored. This claim is being handled in BAD FAITH, its fraud to continue in this manner.I want my claim to be settled NOW. I have over $62,000 in damage and ****** in lost income dur to property not rentalble. They have offered $6,400. For damages and **** for loss of income, I call that an insult and this issue is NOT resolved

      I filed a claim with American Integrity within a week after Hurricane *** caused damage to my home last September. I finally received claim approval on 12/13/2022 and was told a check was in the mail (from a city 2 hours away). The check never arrived. My desk adjuster (who has actually been great and very responsive), requested another check a couple weeks ago, but that one never arrived either. I am not missing any other mail, which leads me to wonder if the checks are even being sent. I would like a check overnighted to me with a tracking number so I can get started on repairs to my home. A month has already been wasted waiting on a check thar never comes.

      Im reaching out to the Better Business Bureau, regarding our hurricane *** claim CHO ******** with American Integrity Insurance Company, ************************************************************************, which was filed on October 3rd, 2022.Repeatedly I have reached out to Sedgwick Claims, who is representing American Integrity Insurance, with regards to our claim resulting from hurricane ***. A re-evaluation of the settlement stating our deductible supersedes the replacement cost of repairs. I've attached receipts and estimates for damages. Attached is the timeline of our experience, representing the the lack of response, multiple re-assignment of adjusters, long hold times trying to contact them, voicemails not returned. I am seeking that by filing this BBB claim I will receive a re-evaluation of the inspector's estimates for damages and an acceptable resolution to the damages to our home resulting from hurricane *** on September 28, 2022.I would appreciate any assistance you might be able to provide with reaching out to American Integrity Insurance for a resolution.       Im reaching out to the BBB for a response from American Integrity Insurance, I filed a claim October 2022, claim # CHO-********. My concern is, Thursday, June 22nd; I was assigned my 5th Sedgwick adjuster. We will call him adjuster #5-AS. Sedgwick is the company that American Integrity has partnered with to manage their claims resulting from hurricane **** Id been reaching out to adjuster #4-MsJ since the beginning of May to follow up on the status of my claim. It appears paperwork was lost during the transition from adjuster #3-BA to adjuster #4-MsJ. She let me know that she had received the final paperwork from our roofing company, and will process the paperwork and forward it to her supervisor. I contacted adjuster #4-MsJ, several times in May regarding status. I had asked if she could release the $4332.97 for Recoverable Depreciation, my policy has Replacement Value plus the, additional receipts in the amount of $3412.00. Friday, June 16th I received a call from my roofing company to inform me that they had placed a lien on my property even though I had paid them $29,819.05, about 80% of the total amount due. Apparently Florida Law, liens must be filled no later than 90 days from the onset of the project. Thursday, June 22, 2023, I received an email from adjuster #5-AS asking me to call him. I called him at 8:30 & 9:00 AM left 2 voicemails, then again at 4:55PM, and reached him. He said he would review & get back to me. I asked when he might get back with me, he started yelling at me, saying there is a lot of documentation to read through and he isnt going to just cut checks. I asked that he stop yelling at me. It is now 10 months since the claim was filed and would like finalize this claim.

      One of the challenges I am having are the many reassignment of Sedgwick adjusters.  Im currently on number 5.   My last communication with adjuster #4, was regarding the releasing of the $4300 depreciation, since my policy was for Replacement Value not Actual Value.

      Ive spoken to TC Roofing at great length this morning, again requesting an updated invoice for roof & gutters only, also reflecting the $29,819.05 I have paid them.  I asked them to remove all items they did not preform. After the roof and gutters are resolved I would be happy to resubmit the additional expenses I paid out of pocket and have not been reimbursed for as to not continue this confusion.

      1)  I have submitted ********* for the repair of a stucco beam.  When stucco was removed there was damage to the beam.  It has been repaired at a cost of $1400.00.  Receipt and pictures have been submitted to our adjuster, for review and eligibility.

      2) I have submitted 1 estimate for $1250.00 for the painting of gutters, downspouts & soffits, resulting from original gutters, downspout and soffits are beige, only white materials were available for repairs.  Estimate has been submitted to the adjuster, for review and eligibility.  Work is scheduled for early September 2023.

      I believe these are the final repairs that requiring attention, prior to closing my claim.

      I submitted my tree removal estimate and the patio items damaged from my loss at the start of my claim in September and I have yet to be compensated. The manager *********************** stated on December 1st that my tree removal estimate was sent for approval but I never heard back. Adjusters have changed three times since then. Nobody is helping me resolve my claim. New adjusters are asking for the same information over and over then disappearing for months.

      Filed a claim on10-22-22 due to storm damage. Adjuster came to our home on 12-1-22 never received an itemized statement of losses! Checked our roof because we had lost some shingles said our roof was fine! Had a contractor look at it said it was very brittle and could not be replaced successfully.       On 9/29/2022 I called American Integrity to file a claim for Hurricane *** damage. We needed our roof tarped. On 10/2/2022 ******* tarped our roof using sand bags. The sand bags slid off damaging our gutter and pulling it away from the house. The wind also blew the whole tarp off of the side of our house. I submitted pictures more than once of the gutter and the tarp blown completely off of our roof. In the last phone call 12/30/22 to our 3rd desk agent I emailed pics of our roof being replaced. ******, the desk agent said she was going to submit the pics for further review. She was surprised that we needed a new roof rather than patched. I explained that ***** the field agent who wrote up our claim said she was submitting for a new roof. ****** said it was not in her report. We feel like there is a lot of lying going on with this company in order to avoid paying what the client is rightfully due. Yesterday I found out we have a 4th desk agent. Had to listen to his message 3x in order to get his contact information. He called today and I missed the call. He left a voice mail stating that ****** noted she had talked to us, settled the claim and closed it out!!! THAT is a complete lie! She advised us she was sending the pics for review and the check we had gotten was a preliminary check. She would be getting back to us and also go over the figures. Due to the tarps blowing off the roof we had to have a 2nd tarp job of which we are being charged for!! We have some ceiling damage due to a leak that is not even being addressed! I don't see how this company can have an A rating and have such awful customer service and reviews. Everywhere I look there is nothing good being said! Worst mistake of my life is getting this insurance, wish I could turn back time. I would NEVER choose this company.

      This claim from Hurricane *** has been a complete nightmare. Almost every aspect of my claim was either drastically underpaid or not paid at all. A supervisor instructed my desk adjuster to correct a few things but I have paid thousands more than what they have approved. I am not able to get ahold of my adjuster or the supervisor in several weeks and I have called at least 10 times over the last two weeks. They wrote an estimate to get my pool resurfaced that was damaged by our pool cage falling in our pool. They approved a little over $3000 when in reality that process costs nearly $20,000. They have approved part of my roof but I was told that I would have to wait for the engineer report for them to write the approval to replace the rest of my roof. The part of the roof that was approved was also drastically underpaid. The original adjuster would not even get on my roof to inspect and said I had to wait for an engineer. This is one continuous roofing system and per Florida code they have to replace the whole roofing system. Not to mention I have lots and lots of damaged and broken tiles on my roof. The pool pavers that was damaged by my pool cage falling is another issue. They are suggesting that I can make a repair for several hundred dollars but these pavers are at least 15 years old and cannot be matched. Am I supposed to have a mixed match pool deck? Other issues I was under paid or not paid at all was for was my paint job, interior water repair, water purifier, damage to exterior doors, a storage shed, debris removal, ect ect ect , I pay over $3000 a year for homeowners insurance and I cannot even get somebody at the insurance company to answer my calls. I know its a hurricane but its also three months after and theres no excuse for this. I have also found that lots of people on local social media groups are complaining about the same thing with American integrity. This is unreal. I cannot believe you are doing this to people.

      Residential property located in Florida was damaged by Hurricane ***. A claim was filed on September 30, 2022. We were provided the name and contact phone number of an insurance adjuster. Numerous phone calls were made to the number provided. The calls would not go through. Finally, the adjuster contacted us. Arrangements were made for a field inspector to inspect the house. The inspector completed his report at the end of November. Our repeated attempts to get through to the claims adjuster have been unsuccessful. The claims adjuster has not provided us with information regarding our coverage, as promised. We cannot get through to the adjuster or anyone else who will answer our questions. The only phone number that will ring through is the main claims phone number. When that phone is answered, we are transferred from one person to another.
