When ******************** scheduled her appointment for service work, one warranty item was originally presented. It is not a blanket policy that scheduled service visits are limited as to how many items may be included in the Repair Order. However, we limit the number of repairs permitted to ensure quality work in a timely manner. Lazydays has agreed to include all 20 items ******************** wishes to present and is working closely with the manufacturer, Tiffin. A Tiffin representative is scheduled to visit the dealership today to evaluate the warranty claims. We apologize for any inconvenience or misunderstanding.Initial Complaint

I hired Lazydays to fix the slide out in my Coleman camper. My unit was there for 17 months before they we able to properly fix it. I lost work and money due to the fact it took so long for them to fix. In the time it was in their possession they damaged my screen door which they agreed to replace and now the contact Eric S won't respond to my emails. Also, while in their possession the siding was damaged, and they are refusing to either fix it or pay to have it fixed. This was on their lot and in their possession and they are responsible for the damages that happens on their property.Business Response

We bought our chaparral RV brand new in august 2022. When we picked it up the front level leg was bent, the outside coating was not done, the scotch guard was not done, the sink had a crack. We took it in for repairs in October of 2022..finally got it back in April of 2023 only to find there was a huge ***** in the master bedroom, the stereo doesnt work properly, the tv is cracked, its missing caps, the top of the shower is coming out and we have left several messages for the Loveland service location. I finally got a call back from the new service manager who was going to have someone call me back but of course that hasnt happened. We paid over 90k for this brand new camper and its been nothing but the run around, they have had our camper longer than we have!Business Response

On May 4th, 2023, we received a call from Lazy Days RV in ****** that our RV had been repaired and available for pick up. Upon arrival to pay the $500 deductible, we were presented a bill for $922.59. Lazy Days stated that the additional fees of $422.59 were for the labor hours ***** would not cover. We were told at that time, that all other insurances companies cover those added labor costs because the repair required an ASE Certified Technician and that Geico has done so in the past as well. We paid the full amount and removed our vehicle from the Lazy Days lot. I have never had this issue dealing with an insurance company and repair shop not agreeing to the covered amounts in the past. There was never an extra charge the insurance company did not pay for or negotiated for the client. One has to ask, since when did the insurance company not act in the best interest of their client by fighting these extra expenses? And since when is the $500 deductible no longer just that?Or is the repair shop unscrupulous by adding extra charges to the bill?Business Response
Date: 05/11/2023
The customer is correct, the additional charges were the billable labor hours ***** did not cover. Geico pays $150 an hour and Lazydays hourly rate is $174 an hour. This information was communicated to the customer, as well as the *************** adjuster. The customer was informed that they would be responsible for the additional charges.
Lazydays apologizes for any misunderstanding between all parties involved, but we respectfully decline the customers refund request.

I had my rv in this dealership back in November for a water leak that they found and fix that was under warranty. They said we would have to ***************** back in to have the water damage repaired as they had to order in some parts. They got the part in finally in March. We took our rv in and they needed 7.5 hours to replace the water logged wood and instead they put a sticker over the wood. They recieved parts from manufacturers and admitted to ** they put a sticker over it instead of replacing the wood but I have paperwork saying they replaced the wood. Also when my rv was there they broke my **** and my plug. They left the rv unlocked at all times in the lot. I asked numerous times for picture of work they were doing because I couldnt trust they are actually doing the work and I got random picture of under my kitchen sink. They also fixed a water leak in November and the particle board flooring was saturated in water without or knowledge until we saw the leak. They then tested the wood for moisture in April and found no moisture because the trailer had been sitting and drying. They are trying to fraud our warranty and rip customers off.Business Response

The customer stopped by the dealership and the service advisor walked her through the unit and provided an update on the repairs. The team listened to the customers warranty requests and submitted them to the manufacturer for approval. The team verified the floor area in question did not have visible water damage and sent pictures to the customer.
The team discussed the plan to address the warranty concerns directly with the customer. ********************** apologizes for any misunderstanding, and the service team will continue to work with the manufacturer and customer to complete the needed repairs.

Lazydays apologizes for the warranty issues the customer has experienced. The service team has been working with the customer to address the issues as they arise. The customer is scheduled for a service appointment on April 26.
Under the terms and conditions of the purchase agreement, the remedy for issues that *** arise would be to have repairs completed under manufacturer warranty or an extended service contract purchased. Please refer to item 8 from the terms and conditions.

Purchasing another unit and trading in this unit is always an option. We understand the customer has already looked into this, but that would be the other option available according to the terms and conditions of the purchase agreement.

Customer purchased a pre-owned 2019 Thor Four Winds unit back on 3/4/2023. According to the terms and conditions of the purchase agreement, any remedy the customer is to receive would be from a manufacturers warranty or a service contract. The unit purchased was a pre-owned unit, so any warranty coverage would be through a purchased service contract.
The service team reached out to the customer and offered a service appointment as early as April 19.

Lazydays was in the process of purchasing this customer's trailer, but after inspecting the unit it was not in the condition expected. The General Manager has asked the customer to retrieve his unit from the property, but the customer has refused. The customer has been informed that he is incurring stores fees until the unit has been removed. Once the customer removes his unit from the property, his refund can be processed.Customer Answer

Very hard to talk to them. Bought camper and could not get a door repaired. Had to use bunny cords to keep door closed. Was told to contact mfg and mfg said I should contact dealer. At one time I was given the wrong mfg to contact. Mfg. After several weeks of trying to get fixed tools me to cantact one of several names they gave me. I did but my cost was $125.00. If they did not have right part or whatever and had to come back it would be another $125.00..lazy days would not return call several times. They would not call mfg for me to get some help. There were other problems but we will leave it there. WORST WARRANTY/DEALER/MFG KEXPERIENCE EVER.Business Response
