On Nov. 29,2023 we turned in our ******* 2019 5th wheel for repairs. It had been damaged by a blowout in October and was covered by our insurance. This turn in appointment was scheduled while the company was still Orangewood RV Center. Lazydays acquired the property during the wait time to drop off. When we completed paperwork with the service agent; we also requested that the five slideouts be serviced as something that we would pay for. We received a call that we could pick up the trailer. On December 7, 2023 we arrived to do just that undertanding that parts would be ordered and then we woud return the trailer for actual repairs. I paid for the slide out service and asked when they thought we would be returning the trailer for the other repairs. They could find no paperwork that an estimate for the blowout damage had been completed. We again left the trailer so the estimate could be completed.(We lived in the 5th wheel full time. We extended our stay at our hotel.) On December 11 we received a preliminary estimate that erroneously listed a repair we requested but would pay for as claimed damage from the blowout. We pointed this out and asked that it be removed from the invoice before it was submitted to insurance. There were almost daily calls asking if this had been done. Insurance was asking for the estimate so they could close out the case. `On 12/27/23 we contacted insurance to see if they could get a response from Lazydays. My son went to see them in person. That must have worked because on 12/29/23, the insurance money was in my bank account.Since that time we have not had any response from Lazydays to phone calls or texts. It has now been two (2) months and 18 days that they have had the 5th wheel for repairs.. We want it back in a timely manner witih all the promised repairs and the washed job that was also promised. The insurance money has not been released to them. It is in my savings account until the work is completeed.

Purchased a 2023 ***** 2075 travel trailer from Lazydays RV ****** on 12/21/23. They took in my 2023 CanAm Spyder F3 limited as a trade. As part of the sale, Lazydays would payoff the trade-in loan. A check from Lazydays in the amount of $35,121.29 was received by the trade lender in early January 2024. On January 12, 2024, the payoff was reversed and the payoff amount was restored. Multiple attempts (email/voicemail) to both Lazydays and ******************** to have the issue resolved have been unsuccessful. As of this writing (3/7/24), there has been no resolution and I am still responsible for covering the monthly payments of both accounts.

I purchased a new RV in September 2023, an Imagine 22 MLE ************ travel trailer. In January we discovered the hinge on the pass through door was broken. I have called them in *********. I have sent pictures. I have called service two more times. There was NO feedback for over a month. I then called my sales agent. She was kind and said she would take to the service team and have them contact me. VIA phone, text, or email. Two weeks follow and no communication from Lazy days. I called her again. She complained the team was so busy. I stoped in at Lazy Days in ****** ** and their solution was to go to Camping world and buy a hinge for my new 22 MLE. This is a *********** and all I have wanted is for them to ship me the part. Lazy Days will take your money but not own any commitments. They truly ****.

I put in offer for an rv to Lazy Days RV. The next day we agreed on the offer, pending inspection, and I sent a wire transfer to there bank in good faith for 50% of the contract. After the inspection results (which cost me $900) they told me they were going to send me *********** back because they didn't want to fix the finds. The roof needed a complete reseal, screws protruding from the sealant, 3 internal leaks (around the shower door, at the hook up of the water heater, both sides of the beltline trim need repair, back flow issue with the A/C, the gravity fill was not attached, and smaller issues that I offered to fix.Bottom line if they don't sell this to me, they will, sell it to someone how is not informed about having outside inspections.

Purchased a 5th wheel RV from Lazy Day's in ********, ******. We picked the unit up on October 21st, 2023. After picking up we discovered there was no spare tire and we found damaged window blinds. We found other issues but took care of them ourselves. We contacted Lazy Days about this issue and three months later we have not received the products we paid for and brought to their attention. Their answer was to pass us around to other people in the organization with promises being made to supply us with our missing and damaged parts. Three months later and multiple email's, text messages and phone calls all they can say it's on order. How does it take three months to get products, especially for how much we spent there. We are tired of being passed around the organization, the excuses and lack of communication prompts this complaint to satisfy our purchase from this company.

Thank you very much for bringing this issue to our attention.

We reviewed your complaint and reached out to the dealership and received confirmation from the service team that you have received all the items, which appeared to be warranty items.

There are several factors that can impact the turnaround time and warranty claims status of parts, in this instance one of the parts was discontinued and it took us some time to be able to source a replacement.  While we certainly understand the frustration and the importance of effective communication during this process, we apologize if this was lacking in your recent experience.

If you have any further issues please feel free to reach out directly to the dealership at ********, and speak to the Service Manager, ***************************** or the General Manager, ***************************.

I purchased a brand new camper from Lazy Days of ************ on Oct 14th 2023. Within the first week of bringing the camper home without ** taking it anywhere but to our driveway ( less than 40 miles) the camper leaked through the slide opening. A significant amount of water was found by my wife who went to check on our new camper after a rain. Water was causing the "drywall" roof material to sag down on showing signs of water as well as draining down to the floor. We immediately called Lazy Dayz with our issue to which they acted like this is normal for a brand new camper to leak. They promised us after my wife called them repeatedly that they would get right on it an fix it and make it right under a warranty repair. We dropped the camper off over two months ago. My wife and I have called, texted emailed and no one will respond to our messages, or give us any details on if the camper has even been looked at much less repaired. The "Service Manager" "******" has told my wife in a conversation with her that he doesn't return calls or answer his phone. All we are asking for is for them to repair the camper and make it like it should be in a timely fashion. The last time I called, I was able to to figure out (without telling them who I am) that if I were to bring in a camper for a warranty repair, they could get it worked on by January 19th. Which was about a 3 week lead time. That makes me think that they are not working on our camper due to us being an annoyance. We have never been unreasonable and just want to use the camper we paid over 45, 000 Dollars for. We have been making payments each month on this and have yet to use it.

there is a new service manager that has been in contact with us stating that they are waiting on approval for the warranty repairs. The new service manager has been great and Im sure he is a huge asset to Lazy Days as he will actually respond the messages/ calls. He was very apologetic about our camper sitting on site for over 2 months without even being looked at and stated that it had significant water damage. He is hopeful of the repairs.

I hate that I had to submit a complaint to the BBB but I didnt feel like I had much choice at this point and am hopeful that Lazy Days can turn it around and treat people the right way.

      Complaint: 21127011

I am rejecting this response because:

After my initial BBB complaint Lazy Days reached out to us and stated they were very sorry for what has happened and they would correct the issue. However, That has not been the case. The service department has failed to communicate with Winnebago warranty since 1/24/24. Winnebago warranty stated that they were awaiting a response from Lazy Days as to the root cause of the leak(s) to which Lazy Days hasn't responded. ********* said that their typical turnaround time for warranty claims is ***** hrs but Lazy Days says that it is the warranty companies fault. Winnebago warranty also stated that Lazy Days is required to maintain campers on their lot until they are sold. Our camper sat on their lot for approximately a year prior to us buying it and they may have to pay to fix the issues with the camper since it was their responsibility but they can't determine that without a response from Lazy Days.

This is typical of Lazy Days and this location, all you have to do is look at all of their reviews. They treat their customers terribly once they buy the camper. This is documented hundreds of times and they have not changed. We did not even have a chance to use the camper one time before it flooded and now has significant water damage.

I would like them to repair this camper immediately, it has been there for 4 months.   They can work out who pays for it between them and Winnebago. If they are not interested in repairing it, they can buy it back for what they sold this busted camper to us for.

      Sincerely,

      *******************

Thank you very much for bringing this issue to our attention.
We reviewed your complaint and reached out to the dealership and received confirmation from the service team that they are currently waiting on warranty items that required a more definitive root cause and have sent the findings to Winnebago for authorization.
We certainly understand the frustration and the importance of effective communication during this process. We apologize if this was lacking in your recent experience. We have requested someone from the management team contact you within 1-2 business days for an update and explanation.
If you have any further issues, please feel free to reach out directly to the dealership at ************, and speak to the Service Manager, ******************* or the General Manager, ***********************.
Lazydays appreciates your business, and we hope to continue serving you moving forward.

I am rejecting this response because:

You have to understand, my family purchased this camper, it leaked immediately after and has been at the dealer for 4 months and everyone acts like thats acceptableITS NOT! Everyone we speak to acts like we are waisting their time and unreasonable but we have been nothing but patient in a situation we should not have been placed in by this company.

Im sorry but my camper has been at the ************ location since November 4th. I called ********* who has been trying to get a response back from Lazy days on the root cause of the leaks, ********* has been waiting since January 24th on a response back. Without me calling them Im sure nothing would be progressing forward.

I have spoken to the service manager who just blamed it on everyone but himself, ******************* is an empty shell that is not helpful unless you want to buy a camper(wasnt even there when we bought the camper). ******************* just told us to contact service and he couldnt help even though we told him they werent helping his clients. Whoever the store manager is obviously incompetent to allow this at his location. I have no faith the at they will fix the problems then, if they do Im sure the quality of the work will be as poor as the customer service.

This has been the worst experience for my family who has never owned a camper and we were very excited to do something new but it has just been stress and a waste of money.

      Sincerely,

      *******************

As an update to this complaint, our Service Manager at Lazydays of ********* at ************, has advised that this is a well-documented factory defect and Lazydays had submitted the work for approval to the manufacturer twice already, to no avail.   ********* now admit that, upon further review, it does appear the unit was not built to spec. Winnebago are going over the 3rd repair estimate and will update Lazydays, and the claim, as soon as they have finished reviewing it.

Additionally, Service Manager, ******************* called and spoke with the customer yesterday,3/5/24, who were appreciative of the update and seemed satisfied with the current pending Winnebago status. The dealership will continue to communicate with the customer, as they receive updates, to keep the lines of communication open.

We appreciate the opportunity to address these concerns and will continue serving Mr. and *************** in the future.

      Better Business Bureau:

I will say that it does seem like Lazy Days has had a lot of changes and is trying to right the ship. ******************* was in sales when we first visited now he is over service. I hope that he can continue to improve that department and address their customer issues, I'm sure we aren't the only ones who were having issues.  He did speak to my wife and we are just happy it is finally moving forward. The reason we got so frustrated was because our camper sat there for 3 months without anyone looking at it or would return our call or anything. I do believe they are trying to correct the issues and I really appreciate it!

      Sincerely,

      *******************

I have a complaint about Lazy Days in *******, **. They have had my ** since September 1, 2022 to fix some issues. When I went to the dealership for an update on 3/4/23, I found they had left my ** in a field with no electric connection, causing my generator to start. After it depleted the 80 gallons of diesel fuel in the tank, the generator's fuel pump failed due to the continued attempts to start after the fuel was used. Also, the chassis batteries were dead and had to be replaced. Lazy Days fixed these issues that they caused and after a payment of approximately $4,300, I got the ** back 3/8/23 for a trip to an **************** Convention in *****, **. While in *****, the main engine fuel lift pump failed. I had to have the ** towed to ***********, ** to a Cummins Diesel repair facility, where the engine fuel lift pump was replaced. When I finally got the ** back to ******* at the end of March, 2023, it was fine for a short time until I realized the new chassis batteries were not holding a charge. I took the coach to Lazy Days on 5/30/23. It was returned on June 9 because they did not want the responsibility of keeping it until the lead tech would be available to check it out again. After receiving no response from Lazy Days, I took the ** back to them the last week of August to have it checked out. The estimated repair time was less than a week. It is still there. When I went to check on it on 9/20/23, there was a repair tech with it. When the steps would not come out like normal, I was told there was no power to the **. The house batteries had been connected to a charger and began to get hot and swollen, so the tech disconnected them. Lazy Days takes no responsibility for the house batteries failing and wants to charge me $4,000-$6,000 to replace them. I have spent over $8,000 and lost over a year's use. Calls are not returned and promised status updates are not received. The General Manager will not talk to me.
