**Customer Service Lacking:**We passed up a used set for a promised timely delivery before Christmas. No contact from them; we initiated all calls. Paid a substantial amount, missed holidays, and still no wheels after a month. Suspecting incompetence or intentional delay.**Additional Frustration:**- Left-hand thread lugs: They claimed these were included, but we had to source them separately, spending an extra $100. Misleading information added unnecessary expenses.- Sourcing delay: The search for left-hand thread lugs added an extra two weeks to the already frustrating process.**Contact for Removal:**- After my initial review, I was contacted to remove it. Even offered a controlled substance based on what i speculate was our apperanceHowever, we settled for an update instead of deletion.**Concerns:**- Special order delay: Is it incompetence, a test of our payment commitment, or avoiding responsibility?- Contradictory tire advice left us stuck with non-returnable tires.- Employment setback due to an unexpected stay in ******.**Conclusion:**Despite giving them a chance, the experience has been disappointing. Not recommended due to lackluster customer service, full-price demands for half-hearted efforts, additional expenses caused by misinformation, delays in sourcing essential components, and attempts to alter negative reviews. "Fool me twice, shame on me" scenario. Proceed with caution. I have left a message with corporate however based on there stellar 2.8 star review and the bot replies to low reviews I don't have hope for a resolution.Business Response

Our team worked hard to help ************************ find wheels that would work with his very unique truck application. We felt we went above and beyond to find the right wheels, work to get them installed properly and make him happy. Unfortunately, we were unable to make our only wheel option fit safely. Instead of letting us look for other options, the customer asked for a refund. We happily obliged. ************************ was able to come into the store on Monday and we got the refund successfully transacted. We hope to serve ************************ in the future for any of his wheel and tire needs.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: They have blocked me on fb for warning customers of there shoddy work effort. On March 7, 2024, I had to contact corporate again, enduring their ***** hour return call window turning into an agonizing 3 weeks. Their BBB response falsely claimed they were helpful, even asserting we sought a refund, a blatant fabrication. They offered a refund, still clutching my equipment, and shamelessly exploited my partner's distress to coerce her into accepting it. Now, they manipulate this to absolve themselves of blame, victimizing the customer and shielding their deceitful employees. From local stores to corporate, not a soul displays empathy or intent to rectify their team's errors. I've lost 17k in wages and endured the inconvenience of being stranded out of my home state, paying camping fees, all due to their incompetence. As a manager, I'd be utterly embarrassed if my customer reported my employees' neglect, bribery, and causing distress.Sincerely,

We attempted to give Mr ******** the new wheel figment and it didnt fit. He had given us $700 to make the fitment work. When it didnt work we gave the full $700 back. We have not withheld money or service from Mr. ********* We have also asked him to come to the store and pick up the tires he left at our location. He did not take them when he came in for the refund, and he has not responded to our repeated calls and contact. We are very sorry we were not able to find a fitment that worked for his 1970s ***** Dually truck. It was a unique situation.
we are very proud of the way our team handled this difficult situation, including the yelling, cursing and extremely volatile behavior of the customer. He is accusing us falsely of poor treatment, no empathy, stealing and lying. We have done none of those things. We would ask Mr. ******** to please come pick up the extra tires he left at our location as soon as possible and no later than March 15th. We have held them for him for over a month now. If Mr. ******** needs any assistance we can provide or has a different date that he needs for us to hold the tires we urge him to call our store or District Manager back so that we can discuss it with him.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:It's evident they employ an attrition strategy, presenting a single solution and hoping I won't respond, all while establishing plausible deniability. I've diligently documented my attempts to resolve the matter with concrete evidence, in contrast to their reliance on verbal assurances. Phone records substantiate our communication. Despite granting them the benefit of doubt, they persist in overlooking my terms, opting to coerce a solution. Their lack of accountability and humility is apparent, compounded by their refusal to acknowledge mistakes. Bringing up my behavior during a stressful situation instigated by their staff underscores their resort to smear and fear tactics to dismiss my complaint. The saga began with a commitment to deliver and install wheels before Thanksgiving, only to deliberately withhold the aftermarket wheels until after Christmas. Despite a complaint and negative review, they offered used steel wheels at our expense, a compromise we reluctantly accepted. Issues persisted during the installation process, from the need to replace lug studs to the revelation that the provided tires weren't suitable for our vehicle. Compromises on safety were suggested, revealing a pattern of incompetence.Four and a half months later, a fundamental error in ordering the wrong lug holes was discovered. Their proposed solution was for us to bear the cost of wheel milling, exacerbating the ordeal caused by staff incompetence. Notably, no refund was offered, only the return of our deposit, unapplied to any contract due to prolonged resolution time. Moreover, they attempted to manipulate me in-store, insinuating substance-related concerns unrelated to our main grievances. After refusing to retract my review, I communicated our decision to cease business with them, demanding the return of our equipment and compensation for time lost.Their response was inadequate, offering only a refund, which falls short considering the possibility of funds being unused for the intended services. Expressing dissatisfaction, I insisted on equipment return and appropriate compensation. They resorted to manipulative tactics, exploiting my partner's anxiety, to coerce the return of money and lug nuts. I reiterated to ****, the district manager, that such a resolution was unsatisfactory, emphasizing the need for equitable redress for the substantial inconvenience and distress caused by their actions
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:Regarding the recent developments concerning the return of our equipment, I regret to inform you that despite our initial attempt to streamline the process with a release waiver we provided the company a week after terminating business with them, we encountered significant resistance from the staff. Despite our efforts to resolve the matter amicably, they refused to cooperate and prevented any further attempts to retrieve our property. This unfortunate situation has escalated, resulting in the need for compensation for the distress caused.
On Tuesday, March 12th, the owner made a second attempt to address the matter, but unfortunately, it only exacerbated the situation. There were attempts to isolate my partner and coerce her into a settlement, which is unacceptable and concerning. In light of these events, I have attached an updated return waiver incorporating additional settlement terms, as requested by their corporate office. I trust that these terms will facilitate a resolution that is fair and equitable for both parties involved. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you require any further clarification or if there are any additional steps we need to take to move forward with this matter.Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:Despite our numerous attempts, both with and without a waiver, to reclaim our belongings, we have encountered resistance from your end. We have diligently escalated the matter and have even sought an extension due to our current absence from the state, making it physically impossible for us to collect our possessions.Regrettably, we have been met with an ultimatum and have been informed of your policy to dispose of our property following a complaint. This unilateral action appears to be an attempt to hastily resolve the situation and maintain your reputation. We are eagerly awaiting a response to our extension request, which we have formally submitted via email (attached herewith) and also verbally over the phone, with the conversation duly recorded. It deeply concerns us that your business seems intent on disregarding our rights and attempting to conceal its mistakes, displaying a lack of professionalism and accountability. Moreover, coupled with the unsafe practices observed during vehicle alignments and the apparent disregard for OSHA violations within your premises, it raises serious questions about the safety of both the community and your employees. We implore you to reconsider your approach to this matter and to engage in a more constructive dialogue to resolve it promptly and amicably. Failure to do so will only serve to further tarnish your company's reputation and undermine its credibility in the community.
Sincerely,

Dear valued customer, sorry we did not get back with you right away. After reviewing multiple camera angles, at no time did we see any damage done to your tires. We reviewed the technician and the sales associate both inspect your tires thoroughly. The assistant manager and sales associate both stated they recommend you replace all 4 tires. At the very least to ease your suspicions we can provide video footage of your installation. At RNR Tire Express our purpose is to serve our customers not just provide service. Thank you for bringing your concern to our team, it is the only way we can get better.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I don't believe this to be factual information because if they checked my tires after the alleged service this would have been noticed as the sensors for my car came on within 2 minutes of departing this location. They have yet to call me back. This is more than enough time to edit alleged video. I am still confident the nails were inserted into my tires there. Before the service there was 1 tire with a nail, and I leave with 2 additional tires having nails? .

I took my car in for a simple alignment brought it home went to start it again and it no longer worked. Got it towed back to the shop Using my Roadside Assistance. I was then told they didnt cause it. I was Told it was the battery Which the week before I had an oil change my battery was checked and it was good and then I was told it was the transmission. I told them there was no way that their mechanics were under my car for four hours the night before and all the codes that were coming up were from under the car. The codes were for the brakes, traction control, and coolant. I was then told they arent mechanics theyre a tire shop, so I am unsure why they were working on my battery or diagnosing my transmission. it was in their facility and I had to get it towed to another shop when it got to the other shop I was told the window was left cracked open and now there was damage to the computer/hybrid system due to water Intake. There was a large snowstorm when they had my vehicle. I had gone in the day after it was towed and I found it unlocked and things thrown out of my main consul so I thought it was broken into. They told me it was them that did that and assured me the car would be locked and if it couldnt be locked, it would be put in the garage. Clearly that was not done. They are also denying that and refused to do anything to help me. My only income comes from my car. I no longer have a working car because I took it to them for an alignment, Now Im having to contact a lawyer because they refused to help me. I asked for corporate they gave me a wrong number. I had to look it up myself I called corporate, and I never got a call back. I was given the runaround and *** been treated extremely badly. My car was perfectly fine and now I am without a car, and without a way to make an income and provide for my family.Business Response

***************** paid contract in full after car wreck.Business Response
Date: 02/13/2024
Good afternoon,
I spoke to ******* on 2/13/24 in regards to his complaint. ******* stated that his vehicle was in an accident and that 3 of the wheelks and tires had been damaged. The damage caused his insurance company to send us a check in excess of $3000 to pay off the wheels and tires. ******* then stated that we refused to return the check and that we charged him fraudently for his normal payment. ******* stated that he told the store that if the money was not returned that he would contact his bank stating that this was fraud and then contact the BBB. I asked ******* for some time to review the his files at the store and discuss the issues with the personell at the store.
I then contacted the general manager, ****, at our *********, ** store location. **** had no recall of ever getting a check, there is no check at our location and none of the employees at the store have seen a check. **** and I looked into *******'s account and the account is currently past due.
The next step was to listen to phone recordings from *******'s phone calls. On 2/3/24 ******* called our location and stated that he had a check in his hand from the insurance company and all he did not authorize us to charge his debit card. ******* then stated that he was going to have to send the check back to the insurance company so that he can get a new check issued with the correct amount on it. ******* then stated that we fraudently charged him and he was going to report us to the BBB if the money was not returned.
I tried to return calls to ******* 2/13/24 and they have gone unanswered.
The facts are that ******* went on rent with our company on 12/1/23, he is a monthly payer and made his initial down payment, he then missed his payment on 1/1/24, we took a payment on 2/3/24, this left Joeseph's account a month past due. ******* then stated that his vehicle had been totaled and if we did not return the 2/3/24 payment he would contact the BBB. We would love to help ******* in any manner possible. We will gladly accept the check that ****** received from the insurance company and issue a refund but we cannot issue said refund until the insurance check clears the bank. I left mesages for ******* and hope to hear back from him. Hopefully we can get his account paid off with the check he spoke about on 2/3/24.
Thank you,

We have done multiple replacements to try and keep the vehicle maintained. We informed the customer after redeeming the warranty and multiple rotations that in order for the vehicle to stay maintained he would need to seek a permanent fix by getting the undercarriage parts replaced. He informed us that he would, but we don't believe the fix ever occurred adn due to to that conditions on the vehicle deteriorated.
We have done everything we can to work with him on payments. He signed for autopay when were are suppose to take it out it, he has declined payments.Customer Answer

On 11/11/23 I purchased a set of tires from RNR Tire Express. The account manager/store manager told me that the Nexen N'Priz AH8 0 p215/55r17 were the cheapest tires that they sold, which was not true. I was also told that if I paid them off in 6 months, they had the best rates. I learned later that they did sell cheaper tires from 2 other customers. I also found out that the same tires were sold to another customer for half the price they sold them to me for. I was informed that the same tires are sold at multiple other stores including ******* for more than double of what they charged me. The ****************** and account manager knew I needed tires and took advantage of the situation I was in. I asked multiple times about why the tires cost so much and I was told that they have a 100,000-mile warranty so they would last longer that tires from ******* or ****** This was also not true. I also was told that my payment would be on a draft for Saturdays and that has not been true either. I called the company about them taking money out of my account on another day and the account manager stated she would take care of it. Then a week later the amount came out of my account again and it caused my checking account to overdraft. I am not sure what I need to do or if you can help me. RNR should not be allowed to operate this way and take advantage of people. I have already paid them more than what it would have cost me somewhere else for the same tires. They told me what they thought would make me buy the tires and none of what they told me was true.Business Response
Date: 01/30/2024
We informed the customer that those are the least expensive option that we had in stock that same day. We can always order less expensive tires, but those were the least expensive option available same day.
The same tires would only be sold for less to another customer if the other tires were used. All of the rates are auto-populated, we do not choose the prices.
We do not have any tires that have a ******* mile warranty and would not tell any customer that we have tires with that type of warranty. Nexen tires have a *****k warranty dependent on particular model.
Payments are due on Saturdays and autodrafts occur on Fridays, we inform every customer of this. If a customers specifically requests payments to draft on Saturdays, we will honor that.
We inform every customer that the agreement is a "pay as you go" agreement and can be terminated at any time with the return of the merchandise, so she is not locked into anything.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I am sorry but the associate I dealt with did not inform me that I could get cheaper tires. That would have been a really stupid move to pay double for tires. I was told by the associate that they were the only ones that sold those tires and I was told that they were so expensive because, the mileage was ******* mile warranty. I was also told that it would be drafted on Saturday. I talked to the account manager yesterday that reassured me that it would be corrected to Saturday draft. I understand I am not locked in but that would mean I forfeit over 500 dollars that has been paid already.
Sincerely,

On 9/19/2023 I had 4 new tires put on my car from RNR in *******, **. I travel for work (out of state) and did not drive my car until mid December 2023.On 12/24/2023 while traveling North on I-95, my entire car started vibrating and I immediately pulled over on the shoulder and inspected the vehicle and tires. I saw nothing wrong and all tires appeared to be operational. As I pulled out onto the highway and gained speed, something abnormal happened and I lost traction. The car pulled hard to the left and I re-directed the car to the right to avoid a collision with other travelers. I lost total control of the vehicle and spun several times. 2 of the 4 tires blew out. As a result, my car was totaled. I had it inspected by licensed/accredited ASE mechanic and I was advised that the malfunction was due to (manufacturer) defective tires. Apparently the the steel belt on the INSIDE of the tire slide off because it was not properly attached. After further research, the tires purchased from RNR were all dated in 2022 according to the **** It is believed that some or all of the tires were defective and caused the car to malfunction. Seeking legal counsel in the event this cannot be rectified. Tires that were sold to me were over a year old AND one of tires was defective by the manufacturer as reported to me after crash inspection.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I have the entire car in my possession as of today. The car was deemed totaled and the tires are on the car. I have attached photos of the tires and the *** numbers are visible. You can see that they are old tires and you can see that the steel belt under the rubber was defective causing the car to malfunction.
The ** ("***" I believe his name is) called me on 1/19 and was very upset that this complaint came in stating I caused a lot of trouble and paperwork for him. I was not in a position to speak with him further on the 19th and called him back on 1/20. To make matters even worse, on 1/20/2024, when we were discussing the sale of used tires, the ** advised me that the tires were HIS personal tires on my car that the store sold me. He went on to advise me that this was a "personal sale". This was NEVER the case when I ordered my 4 new tires at RNR and had them installed. I have receipts and I have a receipt of the DEPOSIT I had to provide so RNR could ORDER my new tires for my car. I never met "***" or spoke to him prior to 1/19/2024 so any "personal sale" never happened.
RNR Tire Express is selling USED tires as NEW. I lost a ****** car as a result and want to be compensated for this. This is fraudulent and needs to be investigated and rectified.
I am pursing this further with this information that the ** told me about my new tires coming off HIS personal car. AND one defective at that.

I am sorry you are not satisfied with the response, I want to help anyway I can.
Please provide a copy of your RNR Tire Express proof of purchase, police report from the accident, and insurance claim.Based on the pictures provided the *** shows a manufacture date of the 52nd week of 2021. The *** date is not an expiration date and is well within acceptable range for the date of sale.In the case of a manufacture defect, the tire manufacturer in this case FALKEN Tire would be responsible for defects in material and workmanship. Every FALKEN brand radial tire is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for the usable life of the original tread within six years of date of production. The claim of a defect has yet to be determined and in no way does this statement imply or declare FALKEN Tire is responsible.
We want to expedite this for you, cooperation in providing a copy of your RNR Tire Express proof of purchase, police report from the accident, and insurance claim would help move things forward.
Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because:you have not addressed the fact that the GENERAL MANAGER of the store sold me HIS personal USED tires as NEW on 9/19/23. I was unaware of this until he admitted this and admitted giving me the attached receipt ( which is inaccurate) because he sold me his used tires off his personal car.
There should be an inventory report of the tires I ordered as new. I also have proof of deposit for the tires. I will call the insurance adjuster to see if I can obtain the insurance report. In the meantime, please feel free to **ntact them also.In have uploaded a letter from the insurance ** with **ntact information.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:Although I do appreciate this, you have not addressed the fact that the general manager sold me HIS personal tires as NEW tires. He is very much aware and admitted to me that this is fact. You should be able to resolve this as a result of his admission.

Rent N Roll first contacted me on Dec 19, 2023 advising the reason for their contact was that my relative had not paid their bill. I passed the messages they requested me to pass. I was contacted again Dec 26, 2023. This call, the employee proceeds to tell me that my family member has not paid their bill and has not returned any phone calls. The employee states they would garnish my relatives wages if he didnt contact them. The employee then continued to give all information about said relatives account as if I co-signed and held an outstanding debt or had written consent of this privacy policy violation. I requested no further calls as I am not a customer. January 9 **** at 1:29 PM I was harassed by this establishment, again. The same employee proceeds to handle the call the same way as before. Please understand, This family members financial burden is not mine and when I requested for my information to be removed with no further contact between myself and above establishment as I do not owe a debt, I was advised by the employee that they would not be removing my information. This leads me to believe that I will be harassed by this establishment again in the future. When I advised I would be making a formal complaint, I was told to do what I do. I am formally requesting that this establishment be ordered to cease and desist all contact with me immediately. Please see screen shot attachments Thank youBusiness Response

Apologies for the late response. This is *********************, Store Manager @ 806. I was the individual who contacted ******************
She is reference #2 as listed on this lease order form, looks like she said yes to us leaving a message and/or contacting her in order to reach ***************************** in regards to his account. She was contacted on Dec. 26th 2023 and was not eager to help us reach her brother, ****************************** It was communicated to her as a courtesy that without hearing from ****** about his past due account he would be facing legal repercussions and we would appreciate her relaying that information. I also communicated to her that in order to ensure we do not attempt to contact her further we would need to receive communication from ****** personally as she was listed as a reference and gave us express permission to contact her. The call was then disconnected. She was contacted again on Jan 9th 2024 and at that time she threatened to report the situation to the better business bureau if we did not "cease and desist" contact. At that time, it was expressed to her that she would not receive any further communications from us and that it is her right to report any situation she deems necessary. After ending the call, I immediately removed her name and number as a reference on ********************************* account on Jan 9th 2024. I also left notes in our system stating she did not want further communications from this location. We will not be contacting her at any time moving forward.Business Response
