      If you are vendor. Please go far away from this company. They will have you sign up and say they need vendors. After completing all there paperwork to sign on with there company they will never call you to complete any work. Dont waste your time.

      After 60 days have passed, they have withheld my security deposit submitting a repair ledger from an entire buildings make ready & check list, to include caulking of a 2nd bathroom, sealing of a garage, repair of a ********(1br,1bath no stairs, no carpet), $355 cleaning, etc. The actual repair was 1 outside bulb replacement. No response with escalating & now that I've moved out of state I'm going to have to start litigation because I can't let them get away with it. Everyone I talk to says they do not return your security deposit

      Starting at the beginning. July to September to fix mold in my downstairs bathroom due to a leak from the upstairs bathroom behind the bathtub, they had fans running non stop in the bathroom to "dry out the moisture" there was not an offer to help pay my astronomical Avista bill. Once the bathroom downstairs was done (after complaints of the time frame of when the bathroom would be finished). They started to repair the upstairs bathroom flooring where the floor was rotting due to where the leak originated. They cut out the rotting flooring next to the bathtub, removing the toilet in the process. The work to fix the bathroom had stopped without notice 40+ days had passed.. I called and called complaining and questioning the management company and the construction company asking why this was still not finished. I did not get a response.. Yet this company received an $8000 check for my rent on a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom but only one working bathroom for my household for almost 4 months combined with both bathrooms delayed in repairs. Its not like these bathrooms are large projects to complete. With my upstairs bathroom unfinished with a hole in the floor the unfortunate happened. I fell through the hole in the floor, it took 5 firemen to pull me out of the floor. Now the management company is not responding to the accident or giving me any insurance information. As a matter of fact they have a lawyer that is not in contact with me other then vague calls and emails telling me to not contact the management company. I have been taken off of work for 2 months I can't pay my bills I have had an MRI several doctor appointments because during the fall I fractured my neck in 2 places. (Help me ******). My medical bills are climbing through the roof. Still there is no contact from anyone from HomeRiver Group. These people do not even deserve a star or even a review. Please see the pictures attached.

      DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! Will not return your deposit within 45 days per ************* law. In process of having to take them to small claims court. Terrible communication, poor maintenance. Went a year without a stove. I could go on forever. Do not rent from Homeriver.

      If it was possible to give this property management company -5 stars, I would. They are slumlords at best. The apartment complex itself is old. The gentleman who build it, owned it until 4 years ago. He was cheap, but he fixed things. Since he sold to a trust everything has gone downhill. These trusts hire HomeRiver Group to "Manage" the properties. HomeRiver is so hands off, the first month they were managing, we had no gas for heating and no hot water for a week over the New Years holiday. Complaints are plentiful. Office staff changes so often, we have no idea who the manager is. No one returns emails. Mailbox has been broken by the homeless stealing. Mailbox situation has been since April. Postman stopped delivering May. Made 4 requests to have it replaced. Received email saying it was being worked on. That was July. It's November. Dog **** everywhere. No gardening. Laundry room is full of broken machines. The ***** are rotting. They gave us a Property MELD to submit repairs, doesn't work! There are ROACHES. I heard one of the property managers refer to them as a "slow moving variety." BS. A ***** is a ***** and these apartments all have them. They allowed a violent, abusive man in, who brandished a gun and vandalized a vehicle over a parking space, only to tell other tenants that it was a Civil matter and they were not involved. It was all on video! SWAT was called out, they let him stay! Moved in squatters when the fist tenant shot at someone in the front yard. Asked if we could move to a different location owned by them but that request was ignored. They have not addressed security issues that have been brought up. They ignore everything but the rent. Those reminders come like clock work. We would move if we could afford the ridiculously high rents in **********. Everyone deserves to feel safe in their homes and this company does not even try make that happen.

      We moved into a HomeRiver managed property last June and it has truly been the worst experience I have ever had with a company. They frequently overbilled me for utilities, without explanation, and would not get back to me after I had called repeatedly. Maintenance issues were not dealt with in a timely manner and it's like pulling teeth to get any information out of anyone working there. We recently received a letter stating that ****** Homes now manages our property, and they tried to send me yet another utility bill, which I will likely contest, until I get a full accounting of the bills that we have already paid. If you are considering renting a property managed by this company, RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION. I am just praying that the new property management company will run things better. I would never rent another property owned by them.

      I was unfortunately affected by Hurrican Idalia recently. Up to that point, ive never really had to reach out to them (Homeriver), until that happened. I have been trying now for weeks to get hold of property manager I have left several messages, and then to the sr. manager, ann ********, who told me on 10/31 she would call me back, not only do i want to re rent my home, there were also charges that didnt make sense to me either... I called again this morning and again this afternoon. Obviously customer service got hold of her because she told them that she had already spoken to me! Lies!!!!!!! This company clearly is not in business to manage properties. I would like to fire them, but want to make sure there is no balance or bill that I owe. Alot of bad reviews here, huh? OK...you guys are fired.

      My name is Rafik I was a tenant at **** ******* ** ****** **** Home river group is the worst company to rent from I moved in a house owned by home river group on November 2022 the house had mold and property management didn’t did nothing to fixed it after 5 months I had to take them to court and had the right to leave the house with the right to have my deposit back and mold I Inspection expenses. No one should be treated like this home river denied to give me my money they change the name saying the property is owned by American property management trying get away from the law . Worst experience when you call all the numbers they have and no one give you answer they play you like we will call you and never do . Stay stay stay away from them scammers

      I only have been with Homeriver group for about a month and it has been one of the most horrible experiences I have ever been through. DO NOT EXPECT TO EVER RECEIVE A CALL BACK. Literally on anything. They are one stop short from even existing in the first place. We have been down to the offices multiple times and there is NO ONE there. Everybody is on the phone or through emails and I have tried to contact *********************************, *********************************, ******************* and none of them will get back to you. All I have is a question about my lease and billing which was incorrect, they flat out lied about prorated credits and they wont answer you but they will continuously bill you. I am at my **** end with this company and I will make it my mission to publicize their ongoing scam .

      Hi I was under Great Jones when I moved in then for some reason this sorry ass company name Home River Group took over my house that I rented through Great Jones. They never answer the phone. Got a office here in Columbia SC that no one is at. There is just a door and no name on it. The people that work next to the office said they only see the lady that work there only on Fridays.
      My property manager Margaret P. is a strange individual and untrustworthy. Anyone who accuse you through emails with photos of cars that she say I need to remove off the grass that are on the other end of the subdivision that is a long way from my house and cars that has no tag on it that also is on the other end of the neighborhood. These cars are not mine. I have one car and when I am home my car is in the garage and when I am not it is in the yard of my job. Then to top off it all she tried to pin a tractor trailer on me say it need to be moved. I can't even start a tractor trailer or climb up in. I don't even have a cdl license. But as usual she tells me to move the truck off the grass. This lady is on the crazy side. Harassment do not settle with me good. Stop the harassment. Then I a am under an appeal with the court and she puts the water and sewer bill in Home River name and I am still living here till court is heard. She is a nick picker. Childish. Do not trust Home River or Margaret P. Run far away from them both.
