      Absolutely awful with communication and youre paying way more than what the property is along with unnecessary fees still being charged to your rent.

      I GIVE THEM A ONE BECAUSE NEGITIVE ISNT AVAILABLE. My wife and I had the unfortunate privilege of renting from this company while our home was being built. The day we moved in the AC went out. While they were quick to get someone out to replace the entire unit inside and out, there were issues with the installation of the system, causing a massive ceiling leak. They continued to send different people out to try and figure it out instead of the same person each time. The communication with the so called property managers is all by email, because nobody answers their phone and you are lucky to get any response via email. On top of all that our new home was completed several months sooner than we expected so we had to pay two full months rent to buy out our lease. Or deposit was returned, minus a paint fee. Mind you we didn't hang anything on the walls because we knew it was temporary. Only for the Deposit REFUND CHECK TO BOUNCE. THAT IS RIGHT THEY WROTE US A BAD CHECK AND THEN I HAD TO PROVE TO THEM WHATMY BANK CHARGED ME TO GET THAT MONEY BACK IN ADDITION TO PRAYING THE SECOND CHECK THEY SENT DIDNT BOUNCE. HAD I BOUNCED A CHECK WITH THEM THEY WOULD HAVE CHARGED US SOME RIDICULIUS FEE OF 10% OR SOMETHING. THANK GOD WE OWN OUR HOME AND HEAVEN FORBID WE EVER HAVE TO RENT AGAIN, BECAUSE IT WILL NOT BE WITH THIS GROUP.

      This has got to be the most corrupt negligent rental companies Ive ever experienced. We had our plumbing break and septic not working properly causing a flood if we used toilet or used sink for dishes then were without water for a few days and due to their negligence we had serious amount of black mold grown within our walls when I had voiced concerned ********************************* said not to worry about mold or about septic smell causing harm to my pregnant wife. We have tried multiple times to have them break us of our lease but they continue to refuse. The techs removing the drywall had found a significant amount of black mold within walls this whole time and now we have to proceed with legal council to break our lease.

      My move in date kept getting pushed back because I told them I wanted the plumbing mainline checked because when I did the tour, I saw the plumbing was full of leaves and wanted that checked and cleared because I did not want to deal with a mainline stoppage when I moved in. They kept pushing the date back because of issues with the plumbing and Turing the city water back on. I had already paid the $2450 to move in. I was already fed up with the company so I had told them I am no longer interested and wanted my deposit back. They said that they will not refund me and that i needed to pay a othet $1350. They had told me they sent a plumber to the home and that they had checked the drain and said it was good. Well come to find out, there is a break on the main drain that is going to eventually cause a mainline stoppage. They lied and said it was good just to get me to sign stuff. Now their excuse is you signed this so we will not refund you. I had emailed everyone about my situation even the ** and they seem to have no care in the world. I am now in a broken home that I did not want.

      I never signed the new lease for the move in date Feb 9th. They were supposed to get a new lease but I never signed it. And how is it early termination when I didn't move in.

      I was forced into the home. I had informed them that I do not want to move into the property until the plumbing had been scoped and fixed. During my self viewing, I had saw that main cleanout full of leaves so ne being a plumber I knew that drain was damaged. They kept pushing my move in date back. By that time I was already out of patience and no longer interested in the property. They had told me a plumber had came out and said everything was fine and that they needed and extra $1350 to move after already paying $2450 to move in. I told them I did not want to move in with all these problems with them already and they said my $2450 would not be refunded and its a loss basically forcing me into a broken home. I want to make sure the plumbing is fixed and they said it was. Well, come to find out, there is a break on the main drain so I will be having a main line stoppage. I have emailed just about every person in management even the VP and there is no response in making this right.

      Horrible company. Knows absolutely nothing about what they are doing or how to write or understand a contract. I'm pretty sure more than half of the staff are based in India, which says a lot. They will literally steal your money. Would not ever recommend.

      HRG is very unprofessional and disorganized. We rented a place from them for one year. When we asked to know rental price if we stayed past the year, I could never get an answer. We decided to move out after lease was up. They finally answered my questions 30 days before we moved out. We moved out on November 30, 2022. We still have not received our deposit. The property manager, D M******** said the check was mailed. She has not answered my emails for 3 weeks. She will not call me. Stay away from this company. We were never late on a payment. The house was clean when we left. It was NOT clean when we moved in. They charged us a $250 cleaning fee. The law says they have to return our deposit within 45 days after we move out. It has now been 68 days. We should be paid for every day they are past 45 days.

      I don't even know where to start... Just don't y'all! So my husband and I wanted to rent this beautiful house that was within our budget and perfect for my family, we went and looked at it and we were approved so we signed the lease but little did we know (since this was our first time renting a house) that you have 24 hrs to pay the deposit and first months rent. So they turn around and give the house to someone else. Then they approve us for another home that really not within our budget, we took it due to needing a place ASAP. But they did NOT tell us that we had to pay a Double deposit along with 1st months rent. Oh and they charge you $20 extra a month for an air filter that you don't even need. They won't fix anything within reason, our stove is a piece of $h%& and our fence gate is broke, they deleted my "meld" request. And the "financial' person will email you repeatedly for rent, when they know I only get paid twice a month they act like they can't work with you. They state the owners that live in California (House in Tx) don't like to extend the rent past 20 days. We're in the middle of INFLATION HELLO!!! I'll never come back to them!! Run....

      We’ve had problems with the property since we’ve moved in our very first night in the property we were without heat because the connection wasn’t done properly. The dishwasher was not installed properly we had to wait for the right person to come after several different people coming into our home to see what the problem was. We also had a water leakage that was coming into our home due to a pipe not being installed properly it took 2/3 visits before it was fixed. We recently were without heat from January 8-20 because wires were not installed correctly a technician told us he was surprised that out house didn’t catch on fire with the way the system burnt out. We’ve now been out onto a new lease without our consent and no one wants to answer their phone.

      This business should be shut down. They are very unprofessional and do not respond to anybodys questions for concern. They only contact you when it benefits them. They are thieves and steal your money. You live in unlivable conditions and pay for it on your own dime and you cant even talk to somebody to get your money back. They tell you you shouldnt have took it into your own hands and I shouldve waited the month-long that they wanted me to wait until they would fix it. They are trying to charge me for hurricane *** related damages and I had moved out before the hurricane. Now nobody will respond to me and answer my questions. I sincerely hope that they get investigated and stop doing this to hard-working people who cant afford to have these issues.
