This company was quick to grab $600 for full coverage on my move. However, the minute I have a small claim they tell me 90 days for resolution. We are at the 90 day **** and have not heard from them. I'm disappointed in myself for not looking their the BBB reviews before giving them $600 of my money. *** moved several times and have never had an issue with large carriers claims. They are not proactive in communication. I am the one following up and reaching out asking for updates. The furniture was clearly damaged in the move and it shouldn't be rock science to resolve. I'm hoping this gets their attention but by the looks of their responses they aren't quick to apologize and create a solution for their customers.Moving Claim Services

To Whom It May Concern:
Moving Claims is a third party claims company hired by moving companies in order to provide claims processing services, free of charge to its customers who may have experienced Loss, Damage, Delay, or Overcharge during their relocation, in accordance with the customers coverage and federal law. All claims are processed based on all information submitted by the claimant as well as their service provider (moving company). Upon full examination of the submitted documents our findings are forwarded to the responsible party (moving company).
Here at Moving Claims, we take pride in being the most experienced provider of claims processing, administrative services, online reputation, consulting and customer support to the ********************** industry nationwide. With more than 15 years of experience, our expertise extends to literally every aspect of the business, from managing major moving companies to providing consulting and services in claims processing.
For guaranteed quality assurance, we serve as a liaison between the customers and their service providers (Moving Companies). We reach out to all customers after their move is concluded to assure customer satisfaction. We inquire about their needs being met, if not exceeded, providing them with a survey and collecting their input accordingly. Once we collect that information, should we discover the customer is in any way displeased or unsatisfied with the services theyve received we begin to seek resolution on behalf of their moving company, the responsible party. We understand how unforeseen, unfortunate events can take place so we focus on providing a hassle-free, convenient process for customers to file customer service complaints or ********************** for loss and damage when the unpredictable should happen.
Upon the submission of a claim and/or complaint by a customer, MovingClaims.net collects information from both the carriers (moving company) as well as their customers in order to determine settlement amounts per the carriers legal liability as detailed in the carriers governing Bill of Lading and applicable tariff and in conjunction with federal law. Please note, while we regret when any customer is unsatisfied with the settlement rendered, please understand that MovingClaims.net is not the responsible party for the outcome of the customer ********************.
We are not an insurance, moving nor repair company, we simply process claims/complaints. Therefore we cannot be held responsible for any actions taken by the customers service provider (moving company).
Upon reviewing the customers complaint it is CLEARLY not addressing our services and involvement in this process. Based on the information provided by the customer, their complaint is against the responsible party, which is their moving company NOT Moving Claims, which is the Claims processing company for their moving company.
Due to Moving Claims being wrongfully accused, we request to have the above referenced complaint removed from our records, and transferred to the respective party who is responsible, as it proposes an undeserving threat to our reputation, considering the services we provide are not related to the customer complaint.

They are ********. your complaint falls in a dark hole and you never ever get status or even get to talk to a human being. There’s No number on their site. I found one on the BBB SITE. I haven’t called it yet. It’s probably been disconnected. Their only responses are cut and paste answers that I call …. “ WORD SALAD” responses that mean NOTHING!!! One Source/ ******* movers ******* ** outta almost $5k. Plus the damage my expensive canopy bed. They have ******* the WRONG person. I will find who they are and where they work. They need to make this right. Do the right thing for once in their life. Moving 2.5 hours away should NOT COST 10K. No Appliances, no sofa. Etc. and don’t send ** a cut and pasted response!! Just do your damn job!!! Move date 4/3/2023 Only 2 hours away. Took until 4/17/23 to deliver. 186 miles!!Moving Claim Services

Completely **** insurance company. We informed Wailea Movers that we needed to file a claim for a damaged painting on May 9, 2022, a few weeks after our items were delivered. Our moving contract stated that we needed to inform Wailea Movers of our claim within 90 days of receipt of items. Wailea said they reached out to the insurance company to start the process, but despite many attempts to follow up, the Moving Claims Services didn’t reach out to start the claims process until June 9. We provided all requested paperwork on June 20, which MCS confirmed they received, though they didn’t inform us that they received the claim until August 9, 2022. At that time, we were not alerted of any issues with the claim and the only timeline received stated that federal law allowed 120 days to resolve a claim. Between June 20, 2022 and April 2023, we followed up no less than 17 times, requesting an update on the claim. They responded only 3 times to say it was “in progress” or that they would look into it that afternoon (October 2022, no further communication after until April 2023). We received a letter via email, April 10, 2023, a full year almost to date of our move, stating that they had denied our claim in December 2022. This is the first time we received this notice and their justification for denying the claim was because they claim had taken too long to be filed and they weren’t responsible for items after they were delivered. I don’t know anyone that is able to immediately unpack all of their belongings while the moving company is still on their property. MCS drags out claims processes to avoid payout, are almost impossible to reach, and when they do communicate they conveniently leave important contacts off of the email. They also stated that we did not inform them prior to the move of any “valuable” items. Wailea Movers did a full in-person survey and packed all of our belongings. At no time did they indicate or suggest that we should purchase additional coverage.Moving Claim Services

No half-star or zero star option? This is a horrendous company. They play you off the moving company and the moving company plays you off them. There's no accountability. They destroy your housing goods and then refuse to compensate you even though that's their purpose. You submit evidence (photos, descriptions), receipts, everything they ask for and then they spit in your face with a low-ball offer after a year. I had over $1700 in damages and they offered my $78. Then they give the automated response of how they're not the ones liable, just the processors. The moving company will tell you that they're not liable because they don't process the claim. Steer clear of these criminalsMoving Claim Services

This company is a joke. Their website screams of malware, their process is ridiculous and when the moving company overcharged me for 224 cubic feet, their recommendation was for a $75 settlement. Their process for submitting the claim is awful. I have triggered watch alerts on all of the credit bureaus since I was asked for highly personal information through nonsecure delivery means.I shouldn't be surprised since the moving company was absolutely horrific. Unscrupulous, poor-***************** work with likeminded companies and it's the consumers who get hurt.Moving Claim Services

This company made it extremely difficult to submit a claim and made no sincere attempt to be helpful. There was no legitimate forum for engagement, just a series of one-way emails and texts and one antagonistic phone call with a supervisor. The extensive information requirements feel like intentional obstruction. Our claim was estimated at $4,775 to replace or fix damaged items. We were offered $90. I call that theft.Moving Claim Services

I hired direct relocation services to do my move and long story short they lost and broke a whole bunch of my stuff. So apparently this is the insurance company that works with the customer in such events. These people made me fill out my claims packet about 4 times saying they never received the other ones even though I had screenshots that they went through. Then when I would call their business line they would tell me there was nothing they could do because they were just an daring service that apparently does nothing but say hello and goodbye. Thats if they dont say they cant hear you and hang up in your face a few times. These people are a scam and I cant believe theyre still in business. We need to leave bad reviews everywhere and expose them on social media so others dont fall victim to these people.Moving Claim Services

I can only echo what all of these reviews have to say about Moving Claims Services which has been handling my insurance claim for a household move. A day or two after my move, Moving Claims Services told me I had 30 days to submit a claim which I did for five damaged items. Full documentation, pictures and valuations were included. One of these items was packed by my mover in a box that they charged me for. The other items were too large to box and were packed loose on their truck. None of these items were damaged prior to being put on the their truck, but all sustained damage during the move. After nearly three months, Moving Claims Services rejected the claim basically for two reasons. Reason one was that I had not noted any damage immediately i.e. the day of the move even though I was told I had 30 days to identify damage and submit a claim. The second reason is that my mover claims not to have packed any boxes which is false as I contracted for them to pack specific items, saw them being packed, and was charged for the boxes.Over the last several months I have exchanged numerous letters with Moving Claims Services to no avail. This companys personnel has an attitude which assumes from the start that you are trying to cheat the system. Their claim that damage must be identified the day of the move was never communicated to me until after I submitted a claim and they continually misrepresented the facts regarding the packing of my goods. Throughout this process, Moving Claims Services was rude and disingenuous. Horrible people to deal with. Don't use any mover which has them as its claims administrator.Moving Claim Services
