  If you like paying money for absolutely nothing sign yourself up with American Disposal!!! They do a great job of never following the schedule, not collecting garbage/recycling for weeks on end, and their customer service is second to everyone everywhere in the universe forever! You cant get worse service than American Disposal and who doesnt love weeks of smelly garbage and wet cardboard in front of all your neighbors homes??? By the way, little know secret, this does the exact opposite of increasing your property values!!! So if you enjoy frustration and working with a company that has no integrity these are the guys for you!!!

  They do not pick up weekly. You still pay for the service that you don't receive as they will not refund for missed pickup. They are very hard to get in touch with and extremely rude.

  These folks missed our trash pickup last Wednesday. I called that day and four more times over the past week. I also sent email notifications through their website. The customer service representative I spoke with last Thursday told me that American Disposal had over ***** email requests that were unanswered. **************** told me that my trash would be picked up one day late for last Thursday. This didn't happen. When I called on Thursday I was told that the pickup would occur this past Saturday. I questioned this but was advised that it would happen. It didn't. I requested a call back on the phone and through the website and their AI recording. This didn't happen either. Last Wednesday I watched the American Disposal truck pick up on the other side of our street and again this week. I feel that I'm beating my head against the wall after spending a total of 1 1/2 total hours on hold with them. Their on hold message suggests contacting American Disposal via email but with their huge backlog of service failure messages this is a waste of time.

  Four weeks in a row now of missed collections. Lied to over and over again. Had to switch. Horrible company. If I could give a zero star review I would.

  I am almost at a loss for words to describe the service of this company. It has been almost 2 weeks and our garbage cans are still at the curb waiting to be picked up. You cannot get through to anyone on the phone, or by email. If you call, the phone disconnects. If you email, you do not receive a response. Our entire street has garbage cans out waiting to be picked up!

  Worst and most unprofessional service experience. We tried this company for 1 yr due to no other options but switched as soon as a competitor serviced our area. The customer service reps are nice but ineffective and the website shows promise but the service pickup days are inconsistent and unreliable. We quit service back on May 29 and still havent received our refund! We were told it would be mailed by regular mail in 4-6 weeks. It is now 8 weeks and still no refund received. I have called and am told that it is in review. I still get correspondence by phone calls, emails and mail about service date changes etc despite customer service confirming that our account is closed. Our neighbors still have their recycle bins on the curb waiting to be picked up from last week. I want my refund as promised. If we owed you money you would cut off services immediately. This is unacceptable. Are we still using staff shortages as an excuse for poor service now that COVID is over? If so lower your prices to support this disappointing quality of service.

  This company is doing a poor job. They have gone up on our bill 4 times with no explanation and our pickup date has changed and they did not pick up trash in our neighborhood today. Forget getting someone on the phone too. Very disappointed

  As of today, I have called 5 times to have a can delivered after the previous one was taken for late payment. That has since been resolved a month ago and a new can requested. Its been a month and still no can. Interesting how they have no problem taking a trash can from the service address, but I've been waiting a month for a new one. How is the raggedy company still in business? Long waits to speak to a representative and being told the same thing with each call, dispatch lying about delivering a trash bin and/or going to wrong address, no callback from supervisors that promised to do so and just multiple calls to get anything done. Thankfully, neighbors have been allowing me to put trash in their cans so dogs will not scatter trash throughout the neighborhood. I'm am being advised by the company to leave the trash on the curb for pickup.This review will probably not serve to improve this business, but I felt compelled to leave a review anyway in hope.

  American Disposal consistently misses pick up days. When they do pick up, the trash can is left in the middle of the street or sideways blocking my driveway. This week they missed my pick up and after 4 attempts to contact them, I was finally able to speak to someone to cancel my service. However, they refused to credit me for the missed pickup of service. Stay away!

  Stop!!! If you are a healthcare facility or any facility regulated by gov rules and regulations, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Save yourself a lot of time, money, stress and fines by using anyone else, but this company. We are a nursing home facility in ******** **. We are regulated by the federal and local governments rules and regulations. American disposal has been aware of this from day one. For years now Literally hundreds and in some cases 1000;s of lbs. of garbage piled up all over on a regular basis. Why? They regularly miss pickups, multiple times a week. On the days they don't come they also do not answer their phone, and they do not return calls. On the rare occasion they answer they flat out lie. If someone tells you there coming and don't come and don't answer the phones. This is by far the worst company for customer service, and service in general that I've ever delt with, and I've delt with many companies over the years. After researching this company, and after everything I've come across. They need to be seriously investigated on multiple levels. There is no way they could be operating as they do on a national level with regular nationwide reviews like mine, and worse. Apparently, their government oversite should probable be investigated at this point. Why do we keep using the same company? Good question? Apparently not everyone realizes doing the same thing expecting different results is called insanity.
