I am very upset and I have tried to speak to multiple managers and have been told I will get a callback but havent received any. I reached out to the store to find out the prices on the half-no-bone ham. I was advised that the half-bone ham was ***** and that there was a 7-dollar-off coupon I may use as well. I came to the location to purchase the ham only to find out that the ham was ***** and not the ***** I was given over the phone. I tried to speak to a manager and I was advise a manager by the name of ****** would give me a callback. It has now been over 2 weeks and I have not heard from anyone. I would like to have something done. I waste time and gas and now I can't even reach a manager at this location. I have never purchased from this company and it is truly upsetting how I have been treated as a customer. I will also be reaching out to Fox 5 media about this. We purchased a quarter ham and a turkey breast for Thanksgiving (Order #: *********) and they were both delirious. So good that we purchased another ham on 11/26/2023 (Order #: 200680818).When the order was dropped off I immediately retrieved it. When we opened the box the ONE and only ice pack was unfrozen and the ham was semi cool to the touch. When we opened the plastic bag and the foil wrapping the ham looked odd and smaller than the one we had at Thanksgiving. The glaze looked a little dark (burnt). Like the last time, we stated to separate the ham from the bone and the meat looked different as well. We tasted it and it tasted different. My wife became ill and I had terrible stomach cramps. Filled out a customer survey and received no call back, allowing a week to pass. On 12/0.7/23 @11:15 I decided to call customer service to complain. The rep sounded uninterested in our concerns and said they would pass this information along. So much for Honey Baked Hams sixty day guarantee? Today is 12/14/23 and no one has called and/or emailed me, so much for the Honey Backed guarantee? Given the unresponsiveness of Honey Backed hams my family will no longer do business with them and I'll make sure others are made aware of our last experience.Business Response

On November 22, 2023, I went to the Heavenly ham location in ************., after going to the Shoprite in Bel Air, where I usually purchase my hams for holidays. I was informed at Shoprite that their agreement wit Heavenly Ham was suddenly discontinued without much notice, since I had been told the week before that they would be there and that there was no need to preorder.I then called the Timonium location and was informed that they had plenty of boneless spiral sliced hams. I left immediately to get one since they said they could not hold one, even though I had an hour drive to get there. I arrived an hour later and was told they ran out if hams and I would have to wait 3-4 hours in line for them to get more. I was instructed to wait near tge register in the hallway, along with several other customers who were willing to wait for the arrival of the hams. After two hours of waiting, I was told that I could not wait inside the store, but would have to wait for the remainder of time outside the business. I told the manager that I didn't want to lose my place in line. She eventually allowed me to wait in the back of the store, but would bot allow me to use a lawn chair from my car, even though I am a cancer survivor and was having trouble standing for so long.I continued to wait another 2 hours in the line u til the manager said she did have extra hams in the back. I agreed to take a boned ham because she said she could not guarantee if the other shipment would actually be gone. I agreed to take a boned ham because I was exhausted and in pain at that point. The policies, attitude and cruel treatment was unlike any business that I have known. I feel that this needs to be addressed.Business Response

I placed an order with the Honey Baked Ham Company on 11/22/23, order number ********* in the amount of $185.98. I used my royalty redemption in the amount of $9.00 - bringing my total purchase price down to $176.98. I learned on Friday, December 11 that my mother was hospitalized and that she would not be home for Christmas. With this information, I contacted the Honey Baked Ham company via their website, asking for said order to be canceled and my purchase refunded. The order was in "pending" status on Friday, and throughout the entire weekend as I checked it a few ***********************. I tried calling the Honey Baked ***'s customer service number on Saturday at **************, only to receive their automated message that they are closed - but they are open online 24/7. I received an email response to my request to cancel today (12/11/23), stating that that the order is closed and the shipping process has begun. I wrote back to them that this was unacceptable, I requested that a supervisor contact me, and that it is not my fault that between the time I wrote my cancelation inquiry and today's date that my order went from pending to completed status. I received another reply from them (not from a supervisor, at least as per the person's signature line) that they could offer me a $25.00 gift card to use on my next purchase. Again, this is not acceptable to me. I strongly believe due to the fact that my order was in pending status at the time of requested cancellation and throughout the weekend until today's date that I should be entitled to a refund. Even the *** shipping numbers they provided to me are not yet even in ***' system - so I can't quite understand if it's not even uploaded into ***' system that I cannot receive a refund. I am hereby requesting a full refund in the amount of $176.98. It should be noted that since 2020, I have spent approximately $1,326.56 with HBH. At the time you were contacted, the order was being prepared to ship on the date you requested. Once an order is in this process, we are unable to change or cancel the items being shipped due to the thousands and thousands of packages being prepared.
We will be happy to provide a refund once the order is delivered (as we cannot stop the shipment) and completed in our system ... which will be on or around 12/22/23.

Ordered ham in 1st week of Nov. I called the store twice to cancel order and was assured the order was cancelled. Charges are still on my credit card. When I log into my honey baked ham acct I still see the order even though I was told twice it was cancelled.Business Response

Honey baked ham took online orders without the means to fulfill the orders. This location has hundreds of customers outside. They refuse to answer the phone or allow anyone inside to get a refund. The corporate number refuses to help and directs you back to the store. How can you fraudulently take orders from customers and refuse to fulfill them or refund them they day before thanksgiving.Business Response

I placed an order for pick up a couple of weeks before the scheduled pick up day. I was unable to make it to the store on scheduled day. On November 20, 2023 I picked up a boneless 1/4 lb honey baked ham Receipt#*****.22 I paid $62.10. I picked up the ham in ******** ** and headed with family to ***********. When we opened the ham it was burnt, tough and no one ate it. I called to complain at corporate ********** ** office- they said we had to return the ham to get refund. The lady on phone was very unhelpful as we were 3 hours away from store and were not returning to Columbus for a week. I took a picture of ham but complaint office would not take or even give me their name. When we ordered the Ham over the phone we were never told of PrePaid option or $7.00 coupon on prepaid.Those who ate the Ham got diarrhea. Needless to say this ruined our Thanksgiving Day. I have bought these hams for 30 years; I will never buy another. I would like my money refunded to my card. The Ham smelled bad after Saturday so we put it down the ***** at the Condo. I recently bought a roasted turkey breast for Thanksgiving. When I got home and opened the cover, I noticed there was no "sweet, crunchy glaze" on top as mentioned on the cover of the item.
