Ingo Money, has denied my attempted mobile check deposit on multiple banking apps I spoke with a customer service **** who advised me that there was nothing they could do that. My account is lock and remain locked. I tried to deposit it throughanother banking app which I would assumed and which was I was told did not associate Fino, but apparently they do and the account was now close. Im too sure what I did wrong. Im not too sure what violation I broke. I just wanna cash a check that I need to get cash soanything can help thank youBusiness Response

On January 27, 2024, I attempted to deposit two checks totaling $700 using Ingo Moneys check cashing service. The checks were approved, and I was charged a fee for immediate deposit, but the funds never arrived in my account.Since then, I have contacted Ingo Money multiple times. They acknowledged the issue and repeatedly assured me that my case was escalated, but no resolution has ever been provided. Each time I reach out, I am given a different excuse, including claims that my card had an issue, that their system had a technical error, or that they needed further review.Despite these excuses, Ingo Money refuses to deposit my funds or return them to the check writer. This has caused me financial hardship, including a past-due bills that I could not pay because my funds are being held hostage. I paid for an immediate deposit service, yet Ingo Money has failed to fulfill its obligation.I am requesting the immediate release of my $700 deposit or a full refund of my money, including any fees I was charged for a service that was never provided. If Ingo Money cannot process the deposit, they must return the funds to the original check writer immediately.Business Response

On 3/3/25 I used cash a check feature on venmo app which I've used MULTIPLE times in the past. Cashed a $200.00 check and paid the $10.00 for instant availability. The check was approved and showed it was funded. The money never even showed up as pending in venmo. Called **** customer service and was told the check was approved and funds sent to *****. I was advised to take it up with them. Called Venmo and they do not have the funds. It has now been 3 hours and no money shown anywhere. My client says check was cashed. On 2/15 I scanned a check I received from the ********************** on my **** checking app, which took me to the Ingo site to capture my check, etc, I've attached emails in received from Info stating it was approved, but I'd need to submit another capture with "void" written on it, I've been back and forth with them via email and telephone since the afternoon of 2/15, and as of now, 2/17 at 9pm I've received yet another email from them stating they cannot issue the funds.I can't take this elsewhere, I'm at an absolute loss and this check is $4467.00! I went against my better judgment with all of this hut there is no way this can possibly be tolerated/legal. As a federal employee I am ready to take this to every level necessary, this is truly unbelievable. Please help,let me know what else I can do on my endBusiness Response

February 17th I contacted Ingo about my account as I am unable to cash a check across multiple platforms because they use Ingo. I have been trying to figure this out for weeks. I finally got someone and this is what the conversation looked like "Unfortunately, after reviewing your account, it appears your account has been closed due to a violation of Ingo Money's ******************* The account will remain closed at this time. I would be more than happy to escalate your account for review with our *************** team. This review will take ***** business hours to be completed and you will receive an email letting you know the status of your account once the review is complete."Me "what did I do to violate?"Ingo "Unfortunately, we are not able to go into the specifics of our review and security processes. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause."Me "so l am not able to know why my account was closed?I have only used ****** check cashing 1 or two times aside from this. How could I have violated anything?"Ingo "I would be more than happy to escalate your account for review with our *************** team."I also asked to speak to someone about the how to file a complaint or how to find out more information. And they just said sorry have a nice day. This is something that impacts my ability to cash checks with no explanation. I didn't get a warning or even a notice. I don't know what I did or how to fix it. They said I violated something not that they refused to serve me or that I need to verify information or anything. I want an answer and I want this resolved since I am unable to leave my home.Business Response

I tried to deposit a check using Ingo money service through ***** as I used it once before. The check was approved. I was then instructed to write VOID on the check with black ink and take a picture. I wrote VOID in black permanent marker across the check and took the picture. They denied the check, saying VOID was not written in blue or black ink. I now have a useless voided check I cannot deposit anywhere else. I contacted Ingo chat which told me they will fix the issue and wait 1 hour for an email that I will reply to with a new picture of the voided check. 15 mins later, I received this email:This is Ingo Money Customer Support. We really wish there was more we could do. Unfortunately, there are policies and procedures we must follow. After escalating to see if we could activate your account, we received a refusal response. We sincerely apologize, but your account will remain closed.I called customer service. Spoke with a supervisor named *****. He stated that each image of the check was clear and accurate but since the review team declined for security reasons he is unable to help me.This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received. I have spent over 4 hours trying to get this resolved since it was at no fault of my own.Business Response

I was trying to cash a check and it was approved but when they 'deposited' the funds into my account they say it was rejected by ******. Or more likely an excude to hold my funds for some reason, I would guess profit. This company claims funds are ready immediately, but no now I wait 24 business hours and then maybe they might decide to come off my funds. Probably just lost hundreds of dollars.Business Response
