I work in personal in jury litigation. Whenever I have to order records via CIOX I cringe as they are by far the worst third-party company to have to go through. Almost every order I put in with CIOX is not processed property. Letters of request are not read property and are not processed correctly. I have wasted hours and hours on the phone trying to get processors to do their job. Even subpoenas are ignored, putting the facility in violation of a court order, or they are not read property resulting in incorrect records sent (which you are billed for). If you are a medical facility looking for a company to help get medical records for your patients, etc. DO NOT USE CIOX.

They falsified my medical records and eventually blocked my portal with ***** and Piedmont. Never gave my medical records to me. Bunch of criminals! I hope this company get investigated for fraud. I can just give two names IT Director ********** and Manager ********************************There is no law and order in ******* as far as the medical treatment and patients' care concern!!

There's no consistency. I sent off for medical records for a client a few weeks ago, the worker only looked at the cover page never even bothered to look at the actual release, then rejected it because she didn't look at the release to see the v entire social security number. Resent it then the next person reject it for some other stupid reason. This week I get a rejection for a deceased child's records, they said they need a death certificate and probate papers, meanwhile for the same kid at another hospital that does records through ciox approves the request and sends them. Out of all the places I deal with for records ciox is by far the worst.

Ciox must be the worse costumer service I have ever seen. I work as a legal assistant and requesting records with them its a nightmare. To get someone on the phone you have to wait at least an hour. Then once you get someone on the phone they want you to do something else and wait. Then you wait for a week and they don't do what they promised, so then you have to get on the phone again and wait another hour. When I told the lady that I was not happy with the service in a very polite way, she hang up on me. This company needs to go out of business. Ana Cromley.

Currently, my family of 4 doesn't have health insurance. Why? Because this company can't do the one thing that keeps the lights on: TRANSFER MEDICAL RECORDS FROM POINT A TO POINT B! They couldn't figure out for weeks how to get medical records from my Oncologist at *************************. Apparently this had been ****'s first time pulling medical records. Last week, I was told they finally got ******* pages. Two days ago after hearing nothing, I was told there were some pages missing. "What pages?" I asked the Ciox CSR. She said she didn't know but that it was just about the medicine I had been taking and that it's not very important but that they need the pages about my medicine. Baffled, I used my break to drive 30 miles to the hospital, park on the 8th floor of a parking garage, walk .5+ to the office, fill out a form, wait, obtain records, walk .5+ back to my car, pay $3 in a parking fee, drive down 8 floors of a parking garage and 30 miles back home. All because Ciox can't do their one job.

Terrible experience, awful customer service. Still havent gotten my simple health record after 10 days!!! This company is terrible. Mercy Health ******* please stop using them. I needed a 1 page health record from an *********************** in *******, **.Filled out an authorization form and sent it to a real person via email. 7 days later (!!!!!) I called to ask what was going on, they looked up my account and told me it could not be a virtual signature. Why didnt they tell me that on DAY 1?? Resubmitted the form. They said they cant give me an ETA. This is a 1-page health record with 1 piece of information and I need it for continuity of care. This is ridiculous. I would leave 0 stars if I could.

I work in a medical office and CIOX will send requests for many records, sometimes up to ******************************************************* a small office. Then, even after you send the 200+ pages of records they will continue to request the same records over and over saying it is overdue. Sometimes, they even call to ****** about "overdue" records requests. A very irritating company to deal with.

Multiple rejections for the same client/provider. Always a different reason for the rejection even after you make the "corrections". If you call and ask for a supervisor the customer reps get angry and tell you there isn't one. Then proceed to answer your questions with a VERY rude tone. If you use the online chat they tell to call the 800 number and ask for a supervisor. All liars and all need better training.

I have requested medical records for my clients several times. They literally take months to get the records to you. This is unacceptable, as my clients' cause of action is usually months away from expiring. Each time I requested records, I ended up having to instruct my clients to go directly to the medical facility and demand their records. How is this company even still in business, and WHY are our medical professionals still contracting with them??

************ has many problems. I have documentation to support everything. The positive thing I will say is the customer service most of the time is good. The ** office is who I have dealt primarily. This company is a massive fraud, wasted and abuse associated with the healthcare system. What is not clear to me is if it is intentional, computer driven, or fraudulent intent. First, I am unable to communicate with the quality mgr as the phone number is fake without being able to leave a message I could name someone they use her name to request information. Not only do they ask for the data, it is provided, but they ask for it again. I can prove to them it was provided, but they ask for the same again and again. They will create a new pull list and ask for data they have requested on another list. If a doctor wants information, they should contact the office and not use CIOX. If you want to work for Ciox, it is not a direct hire as they use facilities and gather data from them. For example, a part-time person that coordinates work between two different offices in the evening was send just under ******************************* under 8 days. Additionally, they were requested before. They will provide a pull list then resend the list with new names added. The **************** representatives are well aware of the duplicate requests. I have spoke to numerous people inside the ************ that is aware of how jacked up it is internally. In my view, I have enough evidence for the ************ to be heavily fined at least. They create new charts on patients that already exist requesting information again. The website states they do not have duplicate requests which is comparable to no-streak glass cleaner. If it says no-streak, that is going to be the problem. If it says no duplicate, that means it has a big problem with duplicate requests. I would love to communicate with someone who could make a different regarding the lack of inefficiency related to Ciox. 0 stars!
