This sales lady which i wont name came to my door and flashed a id and claimed my mother did not fill out paperwork for her state benefits. Naturally ive had the state in my house before for her check *** so i assumed it was indeed for her state benefits. As soon as i let this scammer in my house and yes shes a scammer she should have said at the door she was trying to sell insurance she came in and started asking questions to my mother who is a senior that she had no buisness asking. If she would have said she was selling insurance i would not be so mad but she scammed her way into my house. I told her to get out and called the police and they took her buisness card and ring cam footage. they said it wasnt right but she didnt break the law because she did not pretend to be a state employee. My insurance salesman ************************* who is a national sales manager at North ******* Senior benefits, who lives in ********* ******** I really thought our salesman was a very nice person and was trying to help us.My husband and I bought whole life insurance from American Senior Benefits from ****************************. It seemed as if he cared. We thought we had good whole life insurance. Until I contacted the insurance company he had me through (Liberty bankers.)I called them I emailed them many times to get a copy of my whole life insurance policy. Never happened! Going on their website they had bad reviews. I contacted **************************** and told him my concerns on January 16th 2024. He said he would look up different policies for us my husband and I and let us know what he found if we were interested in the policy he would get it going. In the meantime he would cancel the other policys that we had through him. Which meant the monthly fee for both policies should have been canceled and not taken from our checking account! No Problem! *************** took upon himself to redo policies for us never contacting us to see if we were interested he illegally put them through our checking account without our permission on February 9th 2024. He also did not cancel the other policy premiums and those also got were taken out of our account. That was on February 8th 2024. I have text *************** on February 14th 2024 told him what happened he responded with I'm sorry I will help you get this figured out. This is the last time I heard from him! I text him everyday! My husband and I are disabled, we are senior citizens and on disability social Security payments. We don't have the kind of money to put back into our checking account. We shouldn't have to this was done illegally by this company and man! Today our account is overdrawn by $576.80. the bank is talking about closing the account because of the overdrafts if they do this our social Security checks I have no idea when we'll get them.Business Response

I'm very happy! ****** put the needs of my husband and I at the forefront and went above and beyond to address our concerns! I'm not only comfortable with him, it's a blessing to work with him! North American Senior Benefits, LLC sent a letter offering my father "final expense insurance." Only problem with that is my father died 6 months ago.So I gave them a call.Me: I'm calling on behalf of my father, [father's name], about a letter he received from your company.Rep: "Just a moment while I pull up his information. I apologize for this experience that you had and would like more information to investigate the matter if possible. We do not sent out mailers about final expense. We actually send out lead generation cards which upon return would then trigger an agent call or visit. Also when calling our offices we have no policy information available since that is only through the carriers so I'm wondering if the mailer you received was from a bad actor posing as our company? Our phone number is **************. Was that the number you called? If they stated a policy was written in December we would like to find out who wrote the policy on him as well if your father had passed away by that time, we would immediately terminate and report an agent falsifying applications like that. Could you contact us with more information so that we can investigate the issue? We appreciate any help you can give us! A broker came to my home insisting that i signed a document to buy insurance. I dont recall ever doing so. He said he was from the North American Senior Benefit's Com. He was very insisted . The date was 12/20/2023, at 10 am. He made me very uncomfortable and I didn't want what he was selling. I dont know where he got my information from. It make me very upset.Business Response

Because of the large numbers of seniors we receive mail from it may have been quite a while ago that the card was returned. Just before 1:45 today (10/31/23), a representative showed up at my door unrequested with information I did not provide. Less than an hour before that, I had done a search for online will services at my mom's request.I opened a page called "************,"closed the block for contact info, scrolled down to read the services available for my mother, and noticed endorsements from AARP, Forbes, NY Times, etc.At no time did I enter any information.I believe that ****'s "licensed insurance broker" was sent out hoping to make a sale on someone vulnerable, based solely on my opening the home page for some very basic will & power of attorney research. The biggest red flags to me were that the phone number they had for me was 10 years or more out of date, and the birth date they had doesn't connect to anything in our family.Based on that date, this broker thought she was coming out to see an 80 year old woman, and was quite surprised to find someone around half that instead.This seems extremely predatory, given the fact that they are expecting to show up unannounced to the homes of elderly people. Even the most sound-minded might question whether they checked a box they didn't mean to, or any number of the other ways we explain away small things. It concerns me that pushy strangers can show up and talk people into letting them in, to then hold hostage for a high-pressure insurance pitch.The final irony? The woman's business card. North American Senior Benefits sent me a letter with a $5 check and stated there was no obligation and that the check could be cashed. After depositing the check, I received an un- solicited visit from salesmen. The third visit occurred 8/21. After admonishing the gentleman for coming to my home un announced, he showed me my signature from the check. My fear was that my signature could be used for fraudulent means and asked him never to contact me again.Business Response

We also monitor and limit who has access to the signature from your check, and it is only used in order to verify that it belongs to you when an agent visits. On Tuesday August 15th at around 6:45 pm Eastern a ****************** Broker named *********************** came to my apartment and insisted that he needed to talk to me about ************** I told him that I was not interested but he stuck his foot in my door and basically told me a HUGE LIE THAT ********************* OK'D HIS ENTRY TO THE BUILDING to discuss life insurance to all of the tenants to make a long story short by the time this guy left my apartment he acquired a wealth of personal information from me I cannot believe that I of all people fell for it!! This company is extremely shady and 5 days later I am following my gut this company needs to REMOVE ALL OF MY INFORMATION FROM THERE DATABASES IMMEDIATELY! I really, really hope that some one will file a class action suit against you and all of you need time in the federal pen!!Business Response

I am also owed ***** your agent *********************** charged to my bank account please return all monies. Lastly I actually spoke to ******* and he admitted he signed me up for your services on purpose and he did so under false pretence I want all money back and all my information deleted and I am doing all I can to ensure that ******* loses his license to sell insurance and I have filed a police report so once again the only way to make this matter correct is a refund and all my information is deleted.

As a brokerage, premiums do not get collected by our company but are paid directly to the carrier that policies are issued by. Whichever carrier that is would be the company to speak to regarding a refund. If you let us know which carrier the policy was written under, we can provide you with contact information. We take the allegations of misconduct by our agents very seriously and I assure you it will be investigated fully and the agent terminated if found to have acted fraudulently. North American Senior Benefits calling from spoofed, verified number ************ ******* shows nothing but robocall entry for this "verified" number). Answered, no response, waited, heard a beep, ME female said, "hello, my name is ****. I'm with North American Senior Benefits, how are you". I asked where are they based. **** said, "well, North American Senior Benefits is located in *************, **, that's where our headquarters are, but we have agents all across the country, sir. *** the reason why I am calling you is to inform you of the new final expense insurance plan, which is deigned to cover 100% of your funeral expenses. You may have seen some of our ads on the ** or received a card in the mail about it". Said I haven't seen either. **** just hung up mid-sentence. Same script from earlier call from "Senior Benefits".. 26 documented/recorded calls from Senior Benefits/North American Senior Benefits. Number has been on the National DNC since 2007 and the ***** DNC since 2021.Business Response

Over the past few months, we have been alerted to a third party that has been using our name to make these calls. We are working with law enforcement and our legal counsel to determine the identity of the party making these calls. However, given the ease in spoofing numbers, this has been difficult. If the complainant is willing to provide additional information, such as the date and time of some the calls,what number was identified in the caller id for the caller and the number that was called, we can provide that to our investigative team.

I am rejecting this response because: of the lack of the information in the response. I am willing to provide any and all information, including recordings, but the company would first have to supply the law enforcement agency and active report numbers to verify this is a current investigation. All informational details of the call were supplied to the ***/National Do Not Call Registry/Report Unwanted Calls via their online form. I am not sure if you would need to file an open records with the **** or the *** reaches out to you directly, or the law enforcement agency contacts me or the ***. Is all this alleged spoof information on your webpage? Have you gone to the news media about the copyright name use issue?

Ok so i just received a check for $5.00 from North American Senior Benefits. LLC in the mail. I had never heard of this company before so I decided to get information online. I am a firm believer NOTHING, in This life is free from all the reviews whoops my bad RECENT REVIEWS NO THANK YOU, sounds like a true NIGHTMARE life is too short to be stalking individuals, trying to get them to sign on to your insurance $5.00 check has been tore in half.Business Response

This incident happened on 8-04-2023 a woman by the name of *********************** came to my home stating i had reached out to her. I have never seen this woman nor told her to come to my home. I have been looking for life insurance but I have not ask any one to come to my home, she was very persistent. This is beyond solicitation. To just show up unannounced and state false statements that I invited her to my home to come and harrass me. This is clearly harassment. If she continues to come to my home I will get authorities involved.Business Response
