      I have never had a problem flying delta inside the US but when my sister and I had a return flight from Ireland it was nothing but a nightmare. My cellphone had no service while I was visiting the country so I couldn't check in via my app. When we arrived at the airport and tried to check in we were told we couldn't check in 90 minutes before our flight. We had to buy new tickets from a different airport to get home. Meanwhile we were waiting in our new terminal after buying tickets, going through customs and security before our original delta flight stopped boarding. We could have easily made our flights if they would have been helpful from the start. I have user ********************** for years and tell my friends to do the same but after this experience that will probably change.

      Delta employees were horrendous to deal with. My sister and I traveled to Ireland this month and when coming back to ********** we needed assistance in finding where to go and so on, the delta employees completely ignored **! As we asked questions they literally looked at us and turned away when we were politely asking for help! Literally turned around and ignored us after we made eye contact and asked for help! Because they refused to give us any help we then were not 3 hours early for the flight, we were 1.5 hours early once we got help from security. At that point they would not let us on the plane! Due to delta employees NOT helping when we clearly asked. This caused us to need to buy another ticket costing over $600 a person. When contacting delta they did not care to do anything to make this right! I will not fly with them again and will not recommend them to anyone!

      Wife and I had a cruise to ****** planed for 9 Oct 2022. Arrived at Delta gate 4 at ***********, ******** airport on Saturday 8 Oct. to fly to ******* for the flight to Venice. Gate attendant notice my wife's wheelchair had a Portable Oxygen Concentrator on the back. She asked if we had approval to fly with that unit. When the unit was delivered on 26 Sept., the technician was questioned about flying with it. He pointed our unit was approved for flying with all FAA rules. The Delta gate agent refused to let us board without approval of a subcontractor, Oxygentogo.com, approval code. Gate attendant gave us a form to fill out; did so. She says she called a nameless person at the ***** number on the form. After missing our Flight, we stayed at the gate for another 1 1/2 hours waiting for approval. Oxygenonthego.com said if we had rented the *** from them; there would be no problem. The cruise line or travel agency had NO idea why Delta had such a policy. In my opinion, It's all about the money. Delta does not mention anything about such a policy on their web site.If this post helps another senior citizen with some medical problem, keep this from happing to them; it's worth the trouble. As of now we are out over ***** dollars in charges that *** not be refundable all due to Delta airlines policies.

      Delta Airlines Turned My Trip with My 3 Kids into a Complete Nightmare I got to the Airport 3 hours before the flight, as they requested, check-in line was moving extremely slowly. I asked an employee help us make it in time for our flight. He assured me that we had enough time. By the time we made it to check-in desk, got our boarding passes to the ** flight and the connecting flight to ****** and ran to security. Just as we got to the gate, the plane was already moving. I was livid and I made it very clear that I was angry. They knew we were on our way. We had already checked in, our names were on the list with assigned seats. Im willing to bet that due to extremely bad management, they overbooked the plane. A Delta Employee was able to put us on another flight to **. By the time we got to the gate, they had just closed it and refused to reopen it. By now, we also miss our flight to ******. I dont think there was anyone on that terminal that did not hear my voice. Extremely nasty people how have no knowledge of what they are doing and simply did not give a s*** about the clients Finally someone gave us another new boarding passes to the ** flight However, she was only able to issue my and two of my kids boarding passes for the fight to ****** but was having a problem getting the boarding pass for my other son. So she asked me to leave and in ** they would get him the boarding pass. I went to Delta desk to get the boarding pass the person started asking questions like he is checking in for the 1st time. I told them that we had been through this in ******* and all they needed to do was transfer his boarding pass to the next flight. They kept on asking questions until I blew up and gave these idiots a piece of my mind; they decided they were not going to help. We went to another desk my daughter stayed in line and I went to use one of the phones. We worked on this Issue for about 3 hours, finally, we got his boarding pass. what a horrible ordeal delta cause us

      Delta's customer service is so unhelpful. The supervisor for ******************, April, all she can say is that she is a read coat and can't assign seats. But she can helped someone move to my flight before I can get a seat assignment. It probably didn't matter that the other two customers she helped looked like her and I did not. I am disgusted by only having a hour to know whether or not I have a seat for a $700 prepaid ticket, paid for weeks on a domestic flight. ***** does not deserve to be a supervisor as she could care less about a brown customer. Delta as a whole loves to overbook seats and try to focus you off the plane with incentives. Stop money grubbing and actually care about your customers.

      Delta canceled our flight, stranded my wife and I in *********** stating they couldn't find us a flight within the next 48 hrs. Tried to call customer service. 2 hrs wait time. Had to find my own way home which cost us in excess of $1300.00. Filed a claim. 3 months later we get 2 vouchers worth ****** each basically saying they have limited liability and they are basically doing this out of the goodness of their heart..Delta is by far the worst airline out there. DON'T FLY DELTA.

      I have never been more disappointed in Delta as I have today. After arriving early/on time for my flight this morning from ****** to ***** I was jerked around for hours rebooking tickets over and over, literally all morning long. I took off work this day for a trip I saved for months to take only to be held LITERALLY ALL DAY at ****** airport, a 10 hour delay!! I had to cancel a non refundable reservation at my destination not to mention having taken several days off work and you think a $15 food voucher will make it better?! News flash, you can barely get a bottle of water in the airport for $15. Im sure this isnt new news to you but Delta Air Lines is the largest by revenue, assets value and market capitalization in the world. So please dont insult us with your ***** vouchers. What would have worked is a refund so I could fly with a different airline. Or heres an idea, how about another plane? As one of the most well established airlines in ******* youd think these things would be better planned for. I can say with confidence that this has never happened to me when I flew Spirit Air. Unacceptable!

      In August 2021, I voluntarily was bumped from a flight to help Delta because the flight was overbooked. I took a separate flight home than my family. I was promised $1,700 in return.When I tried to redeem the $1,700 that was promised to me it became a NIGHTMARE. I was told I could only get "codes" that I can use to buy things. Within the 6 months, I tried to purchase an air conditioner using my "codes". The company had no idea what I was talking about.I called Delta and they told me that I can only use them online (Amazon, etc.) I tried to make a purchase on Amazon with the "codes" and was unable to.I made at least 10 attempts trying to get this money that is owed to me. I keep getting transferred to different people. Everyone I speak to has an accent which makes it extremely difficult to understand. Also, the phone connection is usually not very good either. Making it even more difficult to hear the representative.I spoke to a representative that told me they will make them into virtual gift cards that expire December 2023. When I went to book a Delta flight using the "gift card", I was told that I cannot use it on flights!!!I have been literally begging them to re-issue me the cards and they consistently tell me that they are expired and the contract states that they cannot be re-issued.I WILL NEVER FORFEIT MY SEAT TO HELP AN AIRLINE EVER AGAIN!!

      Its been one year, I have left countless reviews on social media and left a poor survey score and no one seems to care. It was my very first time flying and I booked with Delta, it was a weekend birthday trip and I was going to a convention. I had dinner reservations that I missed due to the delay that night I landed. Early cancellations and no shows resulted in a $50 charge per person and I set it up for 2. Our flight kept getting delayed hours and hours. It was a total of 8 and a half hours for the delay. An AWFUL experience for a first time flyer AND to start off my birthday. I will absolutely never forget it. They tried to comp us with free headphone and extra snacks and provided a $50 credit. HA. Talk about chump change. My credit expires in just a couple months and I cant even use it due to having a high risk pregnancy and told not to fly. Moving on, on the flight home, one of the wings seemed to be falling apart which caused everyone who had sight of the wing to be in a panic. The guy next to me didnt even want to open his eyes. The wing was burnt and pieces were falling and flapping in the wind. The plane flew pretty low because of this, thankfully we were in our destination city. The other wing on my side was perfectly fine. It was scary and we did not feel safe. I will never recommend Delta to anyone and will always share my horrible experience to anyone with an ear. I hate seeing the memories come up on social media or in my camera roll.

      It is extremely sad of the "poor" customer service rendered from Delta Airlines. Due the the pandemic many were affected. Resulting in cancelations of flights and the worst. My story is best told by me. For over two years now, we have made all attempts to to have Delta refund our monies. We reside in ***********, Delta representatives here insisted that they've refunded our monies (via our card.) They've provided us with a refund ticket verifying that the refund was executed. We for months and months checked with our credit card company, only to discover that no such refund was credited back to our account. We are to date back and forth with Delta Airlines. They've requested our banking information, and all else. Their representative @ "Delta Care" "*****" emailed us, and requested further information. And we've provided and emailed "all" they've requested. People, I kid you not, to date in following through with Delta they are not responding to the emails, no up dates, *********** Delta team are so unprofessional, and clueless. Note that it is them that initiated the refund that "never" turned up. Please can someone, anyone say next steps. A lawyer? Is our thinking. A huge airline, taking years, literally to refund people's monies. Terrible!!!!! Is it not that the passengers pays Delta employee's salaries? We not only want our monies, but need our monies asap. Most important, we have the refund tickets given us as proof that they'd refunded. *********** Delta's manager or supervisor, is rude, horribly rude!!!! She ignores calls, refuses to give her email, lets our line staff call you (few times the did) and sends messages to you. Delta has our monies, and the time frame in waiting is terribly long and the avoiding the issue is beyond not good. Someone help and send this to whom you know with intervene. The President, and all else. WE REQUEST FOR THE 1000TH TIME OUR MONIES FORM DELTA, WHO'VE SAID THEY'VE REFUNDED, BUT HAVE YET TO DO SO. Help! Help! Help! Help!
