      This company needs to be shut down based on the previous reviews that Ive just read. Looks like they played this game a lot with customers stating that the claim is still being processed and more paperwork is needed every time you contact them they never contact you. You have to contact them or upload your paperwork to them which when you continue to explain if that has been done, they ignore you talk over you very rude disrespectfully stating that they need the paperwork in order to process the claim no matter what youre telling them they could care less if it was done by you or not theres no follow from them or a way to inform you what may still be needed until you contact them and find out that theyve told you something different than the last representative.I was told over a month ago that this was resolved and that it was already being processed and now Im being told today a whole month later that the claim has not been processed and that there is yet again another document needed. seems like this is the way that they try to go around paying the claim or by time to pay the claim not sure what this game is all about but this business should not exist at this point they are taking the customers for granite not caring with the customer has to go through being if they have a car that is totaled that needs to still be paid for while theyre paying for their new transportation to get back-and-forth to work, which is affecting both financially and causing the family stress having to go back-and-forth about the same issue that shouldve been resolved over a month ago pretty ridiculous

      This company does not honor its tires and wheels policy. If you loose any thread in your tires, be prepared to pay the full price of the tires. Run as fast as you can from this company.

      This company have been playing with us since my car was totalled past Januarty 18th, the amount that I have pending with the bank is almost 4k and they only covered 840$. The whole reason to have a gap insurance is to be covered if something happens to your car and the insurance doesnt cover all the amount the I owe and now I have to pay 3+k from own pocket.This organization is a scam.

      I would NOT recommend purchasing Gap insurance through this company, they are the WORST! The lack of communication is not acceptable. You get nothing but a run around when speaking to their representatives. I opened my claim and submitted all documents on time according to Safe Guard Products International and they denied my claim. Even though it's all in black and white they refuse to do their part and just tell me my claim is denied. Shame on them! They don't deserve not even 1 star.

      Horrible company, they have you upload numerous documents into the website, but have multiple required documents not listed on the upload portal; they are listed under additional documents with no specification. So you lose time in the window they give you to upload by not knowing what else they need unless you call them. They reject documents without letting you know why the doc was rejected, you have to call to gain any information. You call them and they say the documents dont match and you need to get the matching ones just to waste more time. In the end youve elapsed the window they give you to submit the documents and you lose all the money youve paid and or the remained of your loan your stuck with having to pay and they have stolen your money youve paid them every month prior to totaling your vehicle. 10/10 do not recommend at all. Horrible company, I will never get gap insurance again as long as I live its a gimmick and a way to steal your money like all these other companies.

      I have had misinformation about the claims process communicated by their staff on two separate incidents. My claims were then denied after they claim their submission process was not followed.

      Bad company dont buy this GAP warranty. My vehicle got totaled in February 2024. My insurance filed this claim and paid within 5 days. I owed about ***** to Ally who I financed with. I spoke to Safeguard and they said it will close and paid within 10 days. Here we are in middle of May and the interest has gone up and I have been filed to credit bureau for a 60 day late car payment and my credit score dropped 100 points. Dont use this company they are horrible company and will damage your finances if an accident occurs.

      Terrible experience. I purchased a vehicle back in 2019. When purchasing a vehicle this company was my extended gap insurance. The vehicle then was totaled by a deer. Processed the claim through my car insurance and a claim through the gap insurance for the remaining balance. Never heard anything back as to coverage is not being covered. Here I am receiving a phone call almost 4 years later saying I owe a balance of quite a bit of money. I was told I needed to reach out to my gap insurance company, which is this company safeguard products. Was told they did the calculations, and there was no benefits so they were not covering the remaining balance of my vehicle. Being told that this has been reported to my credit for every month for the last four years. What is the purpose of purchasing gap insurance, if my vehicle is not covered? I have owned many vehicles besides that one and have never had issues with the gap insurance until now. Why am I only receiving a phone call 3 to 4 years later Telling them I owe them a balance which has been Reported. And I was not given answers and was beating around the ****. Not when I purchased insurance for this reason.

      I would give zero stars if I could. This company does not communicate well or explain things thoroughly, and I have had multiple issues with my gap insurance claim that I opened in August 2023, over 6 months ago. I am still dealing with them. The first person I spoke with gave me incorrect information, and my most recent interaction was with a very condescending woman on the phone. The chat bot was more help. This company encompasses Mopar Gap insurance, and I will never work with this company again. Avoid them at all costs, unless you want a 6-month long headache dealing with a car crash that was not your fault!

      Bad service, there was an omission of information and after the days passed and there was nothing to do, they explained to me that is not the right document that i need.. i lost my money... now i have to pay for a total loss car... Don't buy any product of this company
