If I could give a zero I would. I called to file a claim for a $21 bill to fix a tire. I was denied because I didnt get prior approval. I wouldnt recommend this business.Safe-Guard Products International, LLC

Safe - Guard we have the warranty had to file a claim and had to pay out of pocket did eve4rthing they asked us to do but never received payment back from them. If i would have known that I was going to pay for repairs up front would have never spent the money for a extended warranty on my 2022 GMC. They have lied and seem determined to not pay back what is owed for the claim. This company I would avoid as much as possible.Safe-Guard Products International, LLC

This is the absolutely worse company I have ever experienced. I submitted a claim and was given three different email address to submit documents to, every time I would call to speak to an agent, I would get a different answer about my claim, I had to re-submit documents multiple times and then they still said they never received it-but I call the next day and they say they got them. I have had no communication in regards to my claim and I have yet to get paid for my reimbursement. When ask to speak to supervisor, there is never one available??? When ask to speak to payment team, Im told they dont take call even though they there is clearly an issue with their claims/payment process. The absolute worse and I wouldnt recommend anyone use this company.Safe-Guard Products International, LLC

1 starThis company is corrupt and fraudulent at best! Unfortunately, I purchased the wheel and tire protection when leasing my Jeep Grand Cherokee. On 05/29/23 I discovered that I had a nail in my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I contacted the dealership, brought my vehicle in to be repaired on 05/30/23, at which time I was informed by the service tech at the Jeep dealership that they do not accept Safe-Guard claims as Safe-Guard only pays for "aftermarket" tires. Now this already sounds shady. Why wouldn't a dealership whom I am leasing my brand-new vehicle from, not honor the insurance purchased through THEM!? Fine, I called Safe-Guard and was told that I needed to take my truck to a different repair shop, which makes no sense to me as I am leasing my vehicle and it is brand new, less than ****** miles driven. The dealership should honor the claim. I was told by a Safe-Guard associate, "No sir, you have to use someone that offers aftermarket products!" I asked the Safe-Guard associate which company I may use. She told me" Oh, I don't know, you have to find one!" Really? You dictate whom I may use to repair my vehicle but cannot give me a name of a place where I can go? Finally, after hours of research, I found Discount Tires. Discount Tire has submitted my claim to Safe-Guard over 3 times starting on 05/30/23. Today is 06/02/23, and still nothing has been resolved! Every time I call Safe-Guard I get nowhere, they tell me this regurgitated line," You have to wait ***** hours." It's been well over 48 hours and still nothing. I've even had Discount Tire on a conference call with Safe-Guard on 3 separate occasions, and nothing has been resolved! The level of customer service with this company is rubbish, inept at best! Also, 4 out of the 15 calls made to Safe-Guard, I have been hung up on.THIS COMPANY REALLY NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED BY THE INSURANCE BOARD! Which I will be filing a formal compliant with them next as well as speaking with Safe-Guards corporate office. smhReview fromTravis W

This company is the worse company to purchase gap coverage. You have to do all the leg work in providing documentation in a pdf format that does not work. I spoke different Representatives about my theft claim. Each representatives tells you something different nobody advise that I need to cancel ******** until the day before they finalize my claim. The amount the deduct from the refund was not accurate because they did not reach out to me or the company to see how much was going to be refunded. It is shame you get more back canceling your gap coverage than what they will pay off. I will never use this company again nor refer anyone to purchase it. It is not worth the money. The Representative is so nasty when it comes to assisting their customers. This company does deserve the one star.Safe-Guard Products International, LLC

Scam. The entire letter implies that I've already been speaking with them and did not finalize anything in regards to a contract. The letter is addressed to the same name as the letter's signature. Handwritten note & envelope. No return address on envelope. I have not been in contact with them and this is a tactic to force an interaction. ********* way the letter is written can also be read as if my insurance might lapse because I didn't finalize a service contract. Will be reporting to the official government's fraudulent website as well...just like I do with all other extended warranty scams.Safe-Guard Products International, LLC

I have the wheel and tire protection and being denied coverage for a nail in my tire. In the coverage, it notes it will not cover if tread is less than 3/32 and stated on the paperwork from the dealership, its 4/32 and 5/32. I have received HORRIBLE customer service, especially from ******, who is supposed to be a supervisor providing an ongoing commitment to quality and service. I have been getting the run around from Safeguard since 5/8/23, and now have to pay out of pocket for something that should be covered. I am well aware that SOMEONE could have extended compassion, especially me having to travel out of town for an unforeseen event. This is horrible and I have never been treated as such from someone like ****** talked to me, being a supervisor. Her statement of maybe you should get your tires rotated and aligned was out of line and deemed to me as very unprofessional and rude. I am not happy with the results of this coverage that is supposed to provide ease.From the representative I spoke with this morning, he advised that no one has even looked at the appeal requested. It's been ***** hours and I have YET to receive a response. In the coverage section, it states Check tires periodically for (1) tread depth less than 3/32", (2) improper wear and (3) dry rot. No where in the policy does it mention "ABNORMAL Wear and tear." My tread was 4/32 and 5/32. I can see if I was a customer that made claims every time I drove the vehicle, but I'm not, and It's obvious Safeguard is all for taking the customer's money and not providing service.Highly would not recommend anyone to add this ancillary product when purchasing a new or used car. Do not buy any quality protection plan products!!! I have two ******** and a bug with the protection plan coverage and the maintenance on all of the vehicles is maintained at proper intervals. However, this company is refusing to cover the cost of repairs because I dont keep receipts when I buy oil. But read the contract, its buried in the 100 pages you sign when you are buying a car! There is the spirt of the law and there is the letter of the law. Go with a company who is committed to its customers, not one that looks for fine print to deny your claim *** your some sort of criminal. I could also not have the last name of the associate because he is not required to provide that...Im sure that is in the contract too. What a joke. They can't refer you to a tire shop and the three shops I've been to so far won't accept the insurance. Now I'm purchasing the tire myself and taking the hit because Safe Guard won't reimburse me.Safe-Guard Products International, LLC
