      This company is a joke! I just recently submitted a claim due to my engine overheating due to a failed temperature sensor and caused a blown engine which dodge even stated that Ive wouldnt known anything if there wasnt a warning. So I was told by Safeguard that they would cover the engine replacement because of overheating.

      SCAM SCAM SCAM!! As you read on everyone else's review this GAP INSURANCE is a scam. They do not pay out even after all the documentation they ask for has been submitted. They will blame your Primary insurance and when your primary insurance talks to them they will blame your dealership. This company is the biggest scam and I have been dealing with them since 2/23. Do not purchase this product unless you want to go through a nightmare that the only way to wake up from is getting a lawyer involved.

      I purchased a used car last summer and added the gap coverage through Safeguard. That car was totaled recently and I was extremely thankful for that gap coverage purchase. The completed pay-off process was very lengthy but mostly due to MY car insurance companys slow processing. I was diligent in calling every day to expedite things. I lost count of the number of customer service reps I spoke to these past weeks, but everyone from Safeguard was extremely nice and helpful! One agent called my insurance company and included me on the call so I could hear everything. We waited on the phone for over 45 minutes and I know it was her diligence that helped solve this matter. I am very grateful for their help and cannot say enough nice things about them. I am so grateful for their gap coverage! I do want to stress that you read your contract as there are a few reasonable stipulations that can affect your payout.

      This company is a straight fraud if you have a accident & you have warranties they cancel all warranties & pay off your car which makes gap not liable for paying anything on your ********************** they a jokester & will deny paperwork when it's actually correct never ever again will I purchase a gap insurance

      I purchased a service warranty on my 2017 Volvo XC 90. Had all the required services. Sludge built up in my engine and I must replace the entire engine. Safe-Gaurd refuses to pay for my repair. The contract states sludge is not a payable damage. First of all I NEVER saw or signed a contract! I took this warranty on this pre owned car to protect myself and now I am in a terrible situation and they refuse to hold their end. I would never do business with this company. They are not for the consumer but obviously for themself. They are unethical in the way they conduct business. I will be seeking legal action. Meanwhile I have no car and still a monthly payment!

      I'm calling the dealership I purchased car and my GAP insurance through to complain. This company is clearly a scam, asking for the same documentation over and over, disputing documents that my insurance company and finance company supplied, and doing everything they can do to not pay the claim.

      THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! Ive NEVER BEEN DENIED ********** denied my Gap stating that my insurance company left off a lot of deductions that was included already. They gave me a hard time & still DENIED MY GAP COVERAGE> If thats the case GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK from your company...TOTAL SCAMMERS

      This company is a scam. I think that everyone that has been " duped" by them should call to where they obtained their business license and filed a complaint. With what they are doing to people can cause their license to be suspended and also cancelled where they can't no longer operate. The state will investigate the complaints. They almost had me but I was able to cancel the cancel the policy within 2 days after I purchased. When I read the copy of the contract they emailed me...they deliberately changed the mileage that I gave them. I noticed the contract agreement didn't state everything they said, the terms were different. I went back and looked at the letters they sent me,They were emails they made copies of that was sent to me. Also the letters didn't display a company logo. The envelope was addressed in their handwriting. I was glad God help me to see through them in time to get my money back. They give you different prices but like about the discount they say that you are getting just to con you into paying the 6 month package deal. I call the bank and cancelled my credit card so I could be issued a new one.
