      I had windows installed by Home Depot in December of 2024 and currently 7 months later I am still waiting on the windows to be installed correctly. I paid over 22k and they do not care.

      Trying to purchase a window AC for my house we went to the home Depot as they did a great job with my washer. At the store at ************* in asked t nearest attendant who could help me purchase one with install . He said only at customer ********************** could they do that. So I went to the front. I stood in line for 15 minutes and they weren't helping any guests I could see. Finally I figured I'd keep some dignity and did the order from home Depot dot com. Wouldn't you know they had professional installation for 179 and explained everything I can expect so I bought it with the ** ac unit. After my delivery I did not get the installation call they said I would. After explaining to customer ********************** from another country I did get an email with a company's name and number that would call but I could also call them . So I did. Turns out this company does HVAC and not window units or ," customer supplied units" so I called customer ********************** again. They told me that, that company wasn't the right one and another one would call in 24 hours. I did call after 24 hours left a vm. Then I waited and after 72 hours I figured I had to do this myself. I called customer ********************** and had them refund me. Now mind you if my AC don't work I'm passed the return policy limit so I'll be screwed if I got a lemon. This is due to a *** recall of my old unit that says it's recalled due to mold growing inside the units. So I couldn't keep the old one if in wanted to. Anyways. Due to me doing the install and not realizing the website home ************************** sold me the wrong bracket my ac took a tumble out of the window. It seems to be running now and I've gotten the correct bracket but I've gotta be honest, home Depot is only good for diy people. They don't really care about someone like me in my fifties who can't install stuff unless your talking about an operating system, network or other nerdy things. Should be 2 stars but it won't let me fix it so whatever.

      **Horrendous Return Policy Home Depots 7-Day Scam** Home Depots new **7-day return policy** for dehumidifiers, pressure washers, air conditioners, and generators is nothing short of **ridiculous** and **anti-consumer**. Who in their right mind thinks seven days is enough time to properly test and evaluate these kinds of appliances? First off, **unused and factory-sealed packaging only**? Thats an absolute joke. Most people need to open the box to even see if the product is right for them. What if it arrives damaged? What if its the wrong model? Too badHome Depot would rather s**** you over than stand by their products. And lets talk about the **arbitrary selection** of items. Why just these categories? Generators and air conditioners are **major purchases**, often bought in emergencies. If something doesnt work as expected or fails after a week, youre stuck with a $500+ paperweight. Effective **June 16, 2025**just in time for summer, when people actually need these items. Coincidence? Absolutely not. This is a blatant cash grab, forcing customers to either keep defective or unsuitable products or jump through impossible hoops. **Bottom line:** Home Depot clearly doesnt care about customer satisfaction. If youre buying anything on their restricted list, **shop elsewhere**anywhere with a sane return policy. **One star, and thats being generous.**

      I was told that my credit wouldn't be affected by their "soft pull" however this was not true and my credit was effected negatively. Effecting my credit in this way hurt my life and my ability to get a home refinance. A company thats this large shouldn't lie just to get a sale.

      I purchased some cabinets online from Home Depot ***********************, LA for delivery. ************* didn't deliver my full scheduled delivery but took pictures as if all kitchen cabinets were delivered. What has the world come to when delivery crews are stealing kitchen cabinets. They even signed saying everything was delivered. Took 2 hours to get refund of money. Manager refused to come to phone to speak with me when I asked if delivery crew can be connected for other portion of delivery.

      I would rate them zero stars. After ordering a shed (one of their most expensive products), being charged for it, waiting six weeks, spending 10 hours plus with customer **********************, having to cancel the order, having to keep renting a moving container because they sold me a shed they couldn't deliver, I was offered a paltry gift card as a "gesture of goodwill" for which I'd have to sign over any right to seek actual compensation. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GARBAGE COMPANY.

      DON'T BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT!! If I can save even one...The HD protection plan is a scam! We paid $126 for 5 years. It's a Third party plan, ********. Our GE washer started to glitch after 2 mos. Completely stopped working after a year. It's been a month and a half. We have no washer, and no reimbursement. Scam from start to finish. Home Depot will do nothing about it. We lost $800, including the $126 for the "protection plan," because we had to buy another washer. The HD protection plan people you have to call just take calls, read from a script, repeat themselves over and over, and lie to you to get you off the phone. They resolve nothing. Just constant runarounds if you have an issue and file a claim. I had 3 repairman and a local appliance store tell me Home Depot sells major brand appliances, but they're not actually the brands, they're knock offs. Yet they still charge the name brand price. The repair guys said they work on Maytag, Whirlpool, GE, LE, etc., constantly, especially sold from Home Depot. They also said these appliances are being made to last 3 years tops. We got less than 1 year. It's been a nightmare. If you need a washer, go with a Speed Queen! So worth the extra money. Every repair guy recommended them. And stay the h*** away from Home Depot!

      I should have looked up the reviews for this Home Depot location prior to doing business with them. 1.13 is truly unbelievable! This location obviously needs to either shut down or needs new management.I signed a contract July 1st of 2024, (OVER 1 YEAR AGO) to have my kitchen and two bathrooms renovated. They still have pending open items so the job is still ON-GOING. The response time for questions or requests of scheduling from every person (with the exception of the Designer) has been either super slow or I'm just plained ignored. The contacts include upper level management which is astounding. I requested a change prior to demo of the kitchen and unfortunately, the project coordinator failed to put a pause on the job which not only messed up the entire schedule, but also caused a huge problem for me since the change I wanted to make was basically taken off the table when the ** went ahead and demo'd the kitchen (it was a change to the bartop). I have been extremely patient, way beyond what is considered normal or usual which I believe just made it easier for the ** team to drag this project on for as long as they have. I have dozens of emails proving the incompetance and/or the lack of response. There are only 3 small punch list items left which I asked for on May 23rd and they have yet to have the decency to respond. Which is why I am placing this complaint with the BBB. I want this debacle to end and I want the last three items taken care of.Aside from this and just to be clear. My entire family, numerous friends and my co-workers all know what I have gone through over the past year trying to get my kitchen and bathrooms done and they have all at various times stated, they will never go to Home Depot for contracted work. Honesty, if they had made a serious effort to correct the problems and had been responsive, I would have considered working with them (I have a floor project coming up); that is definitely off the table along w/any other projects!

      Home Depot, delivered a defective washing machine, (front encasement has separated itself from the front of washing machine) and is defective, and Home Depot or ** refuses to return and/or replace due to it not being discovered outside of the 48 hour window. We wouldnt have know this, if we hadnt had delivery driver, who had stopped out to finish hooking up water lines, that they forgot to install because they forgot them at their warehouse and it was the delivery driver who discovered it, and called his manager to let her know that we needed a complete replacement. Driver also noticed the stacking kit was also defective, therefore making the dryer unstable! Washing machine drum is exposed from the front of machine also!!! We are now 3 weeks w/o a *************** due to each party blaming each other!! Im fed up and my patience, is now non existent!!!! Next step is contacting my lawyer ( on standby) to settle this dispute if we continued to not see results asap! Thank you ****** *******

      While we did not have issue with the store directly. We did have issue with the delivery throughout the process. We had our delivery set to deliver to our new home, and the delivery showed up at 6:30 am on a Saturday morning at our billing address, not the installation address. At 6:30 in the morning, I remained calm despite being told they would not drive the ten minutes to the correct address. I had to go through the process of rescheduling which took a lot of time.The second delivery did not go as planned because the delivers showed up without the stacking kit needed. Instead of figuring out a work around. They told my wife we would have to once again reschedule for a second time.During this time. I was in a meeting and received a call asking how the delivery went. I returned the call stating that the delivery never happened based on the fact that they never checked that they had everything on the truck to complete the order. They could not find my order with all of my order numbers because they were the third party installers.The third installation I had my parents assist, and they attempted to deliver another washer and dryer which was not needed. When my parents tried to explain that it was already delivered the delivery person became beligerent and stated he was going back to ** because Missouri people complain too much. My parents states all that was needed was the stacking kit. He didn't want to hear. Loaded up and said we would have to call home depot because it was our responsibility to supply the connector kit.I spoke to someone while in the waiting room in the ** the day before the fourth of July describing the situation, and simply asking for them to pick up the washer and dryer as we were so unhappy with the service that we would like to return. I spent an hour on the phone, only to be told we were ******************************************************** our garage. Again, it is not installed in our. Still in the box.
