I am so Disappointed in home depot I bought a refrigerator from home depot I paid tk take away the old one and set up the new one ice and water the day if delivery 2 young man came I am living on the 2nd floor they refuse to take it upstairs and told me they can left it outside and I can get someone to take it Upstairs I told them they can take it back And they did with no remorse very rude now is that CUSTOMER **********************???WHAT WAS THSTThe Home Depot

We bought an ** dishwasher ($698) from ******** Home Depot on July 11, 2022. The sales agent S convinced us to get a new Home Depot Card for a discount of $50 as the dishwasher price was already more than the purchase threshold of $300. She also sold us a contract of installation ($119), haul away ($40), plus power cord and kit ($33.97). No. H3503-243953 The installation team came in on July 29. They tried to disconnect the old dishwasher from hot water line, but only for a few mins and claimed that they couldnt unlock the connector. They said that they had other deliveries to make and then took off, but left the new dishwasher in our garage. A subsequent phone call with the AMS Customer support ******************* company) led us to a nationwide Home Depot representative, C. He stated that customers need to unlock the connector before the installation team comes in. We stated that S never told us that requirement before we signed the contract, nor can we find any wording in the contract. Before we ended the call, C assured us that the store manager would continue to discuss the issue with us. Since the Home Depot did not call for the next two days, we called the ******** store. B(Manager) heard our event and again insisted that we need to pay a plumber to unlock the connector. Or, he can cancel the installation and haul away and refund the cost of installation and haul away. We agreed to the cancellation option. Toward the end of our conversation, M of Bs colleague hung up the phone on us when we suggested them to better train its employees on installation specific preparations.We dont appreciate the management attitude and inadequate employees training. We dont understand why we were denied when we proposed to cancel the entire contract. We did not even have a chance to touch the dishwasher yet. We also dont understand why we cant get a full refund of installation and haul away cost plus tax, which should be $171.42.The Home Depot

I ordered brand new washer, dryer, pedestal washer, and pedestal from the Home Depot on 2 Jul for $3,291. I originally requested 12 Jul delivery date as it was the first available. I received the call about the delivery window but no one showed up. I then found an email stating I had been rescheduled to 13 Jul. Not only was there no phone call, but no thought to the 4 hour window I lost the day prior. On 13 Jul, my appliance show up with both pedestals severely damaged. I was told by the warehouse tech they would deliver the next day. This sounded odd so I reached out to Home Depot customer **********************. I explained about the damaged appliances that were taken back to the warehouse, and I wanted to ensure everything was needed for reorder/redelivery. I was told I was good to go. On 14 Jul, no delivery and no email or call so I text customer ********************** again. They apologize and reschedule my delivery date. As a military member in a military school program, I have fairly rigid hours so the only option was 23 Jul (sat). 23 Jul rolls around and again no delivery during the ******** window. Called customer ********************** and was on the phone for over an hour trying to sort this out, and get rescheduled for 30 Jul. On trend, 30 Jul hits and no delivery that day either. After another 90 minutes on the phone plus the 4 hours waiting at home, its finally discovered that no one reordered the pedestals! Everyone was moving the delivery date but nothing was there to deliver except hoses. At this point Im done so I cancel the pedestals and just want my hoses and install. Next date is 6 Aug and the customer ********************** rep called to make sure they knew it was install with hose delivery. I got the email and phone call for my delivery window, and no one shows up again! Someone cancelled my order. Im over 1 month from when I bought my washer and dryer and nearly a month since they have been in my house and I cannot use them. Do NOT get appliances from this location.The Home Depot

We ordered two appliances on July 3rd in store. We were told the soonest we could get delivery was Aug 3rd. That date came and got a phone call from the delivery company said the truck broke down and we would have delivery on Aug 5 between 2 and 6pm. No call and no show. Called home depot and all they could say is we can't do anything about it, that we have to wait for a new delivery date or we can cancel. This is unacceptable customer ********************** and the fact that they refuse to do anything to rectify this situation is beyond BS.The Home Depot

Bought a complete kitchen appliance set, 3 weeks later install crew shows up, took 2 hours to install microwave that was exactly same as the removal, said could not install dish washer because front feet blocked by flooring. when they were gone I used a small vise-grip and wound them up. Rescheduled for install again now Aug 5 th. Never did 30 min call and tenant waited with no knock. The Nit **** were knocking on the garage door in the back of the home... of course Tenant never heard, nit wit took a pic of the "Front door" to prove he was their, pics of the Garage. ********* operation, Ive bought $40K+ of appliances for my home and rentals and can say the install crews work have gone way down in quality. AVOID THEIR INSTALL CREWS AT ALL COST.The Home Depot

In March I bought an e-card for my sister-inlaw for her birthday. I believe it was $100.00 She bought things for her garden and loved it. This week she went back to Home Depot to buy a few more things because had money left on the e-card. when she went to checkout the woman accused my sister-inlaw of stealing, photocopying the e-card. my sister-inlaw showed now two women the email from me. They then told her they could not accept the e-card. It is bad enough that attorneys racial profile, but now Home Depot!Needless to say I will not be giving e-cards, gift cards or shopping at home Depot anymore. My sister-inlaw was embarrassed and horrified that she had been treated this way. ************The Home Depot

I have never written a review of any kind, but my experience with home depot; specifically the rebate team is just ridiculous. I submitted multiple items for the 11% rebate and most if not all were declined for some reason or another. I was approved for two receipts and one I have been waiting on since June 13. I received the email that it was approved but no gift card. I called multiple times and always given the same line you should receive it within 72 hours. 72 hours passes and its the same line every time. I called at least seven (7) times even spoke to a Supervisor who stated management is reviewing the claim, and again 72 hours no email. They should train their customer ********************** to properly answer questions. I called the last time on July 30th and stated I would file a complaint if I didnt hear within the 72 hours and here I am still waiting for my rebate. Also, I want to add that they even told me; maybe something is wrong with your email; however I receive daily emails from HD. I even gave them an alternate email and nothing.The Home Depot

I had to give 1 star in order to leave this review otherwise it would be a 0. I ordered a lawnmower online on July 25. It was shipped out the next day. I received a damaged non working mower on July 30. I called and had it sent back but had to order a new one and pay again. It took 5 days for my refund from the first mower to hit my bank. Now I keep getting the run around on when my 2nd mower will be shipped one representative said it was waiting to be shipped from the fulfillment center and another told me it was shipping from the manufacturer. Neither of them had a number to call to confirm. So I tried to cancel my order and was told I couldnt. This order was placed on aug 1 and on aug 5 they finally told me that it wasnt going to be shipped till the 18 th of aug but it was to far into shipping to give me a refund WHAT? So now I have to wait till the mower gets to me and I send it back and then 7 to 10 days later I will receive my refund. Never again Home Depot!!!!!!!The Home Depot

On July 29th a dryer I purchased was delivered. The two who delivered it were supposed to take the old one with them. They did not and when I told them I was calling Home Depot, they left my paperwork on my doormat and were in their truck. When I realized they werent going to remove the old dryer, I asked for their namesthey drove off. I called Home Depot to inform them that they never took the dryer. They set up August 2nd for someone to come get the old dryer. I was leaving town so never had the opportunity to use the dryer until I got back. First time I used itNO HEAT. I called Home Depot they have refused to do anything. I called Whirlpool and they will send out a technician but I have to pay for it!!! I even bought the extended warranty but they wont cover it because they claim it was an installation problem and my extended warranty doesnt over that. Spent $1000.00 on a dryer I cant use and NOBODY is willing to do anything unless they get more money!! They are all passing the buck!!! I will NEVER do business with this company again. ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY THEY DO NOT CARE!!! If I could give them zero stars I would. They dont even deserve one star!!!The Home Depot
