Warning consumers not to purchase major appliances from Home Depot. I ordered a fridge and oven at large expense in May, the delivery kept getting pushed out to June, then August, then October, so I requested my order get cancelled and refunded. Home depot indicated they could not cancel the order because it had already shipped, that they had to wait for it to arrive to scan and cancel it, plus 5-7 days afterward for a credit to get processed. When I asked when that might be, the support person could not give me a clear answer and said it would be before October, and to call back in 2 weeks. I need my money back to buy replacements from somewhere else and cant wait 2 months just because Home Depot is not efficient nor able to meet their guarantees. Just a warning, they will take your money, leave you waiting, then d*** you around even when you purchase extra protection to be able to cancel an order, and you wont get refunded the extra protection fee even if they credit you back for the appliance.The Home Depot

I am taking the time to write this review to warn area residents not to arrange for appliance deliveries from The Home Depot (Store # ****) located ***** at *************************************************. I am still awaiting the delivery and installation of a gas range that I ordered on July 15, 2022. The original delivery date was scheduled for July 26, 2022. I had to make multiple calls to deal with an inefficient process for obtaining Home Depot's certificate of insurance for my apartment building. The initial delivery was also scheduled for between 2:30 and 6:30 even though I had made clear that the apartment building will only accept deliveries between 9:00 and 5:00. Several more calls and time wasted on hold eventually resolved that issue. The range arrived one hour before the scheduled delivery window. After sliding out our old range, the driver returned to the truck and then informed us that the new range was damaged, so he couldn't install it. The delivery was rescheduled for August 3, 2022. On the morning of August 3rd, the driver called and asked if the range needed to be installed. He said he is not licensed to install it and can only deliver it! ****** from customer ********************** then informed me that no plumbers were available in the area to install it and that the delivery would need to be rescheduled again for August 5, 2022. Would have gladly paid more elsewhere to avoid this incompetence! I already paid $350 for delivery and installation and have been offered apologies and perhaps a gift card as compensation. **** GThe Home Depot

My wife and I visited Home Depot in ******, ** to buy a dishwasher. There was absolutely no one at all working that night in the ***************** so we ordered a Frigidaire dishwasher online while from Home Depot while we were there. A day after the machine was delivered, we had our plumber readying to hook it up, but as he was opening the package, he noticed a huge dent on the door in front of the machine. When we called Home Depot, they transferred us to Frigidaire, who then wanted to send a technician to the house to inspect and make sure the machine we bought was fully functional, as if to ignore the fact that we bought the machine in good faith and was expecting the machine to not have a huge dent that looked like it was made by a forklift. We finally got them to take the machine and replace it with a new one. It was wet inside, and the delivery guy said they (Home Depot) ran the machine to make sure it works, but they never tested the Dry Heat because the Dry Heat function did not work. I think the machine was probably bought previously and returned because the Dry Heat function does not work, and then decided to send that machine to us as brand new. We called and once again ******** from Home Depot transferred our call to Frigidaire. Can you do an investigation on Home Depot delivery warehouse to investigate damaged products being sent to consumers like my wife and I as brand new. I am quite certain that other customers must be having the same issues we've been having with them. As of now, they are scheduled to take the machine with the Dry Heat function not working, and there is no doubt they are going to send this machine to another unsuspecting customer who thinks he is buying a new machine. If this is what they are doing, then Home Depot is selling their products in poor faith, which is an issue that must be dealt with. Thank youThe Home Depot

I ordered 3 items online. 2 arrived. 1 was shipped across the country to another state. I called and they said they can see it was shipped to the wrong place and they are sorry but there is nothing they can do and I have to dispute the charge with my credit card. Really? I bought 6 / 4 x 8 sheets of 3/4 plywood Aug 2, 2022. The total was $507.71 in *********, ********. Home Depot advertises a military discount for Veterans. I am a military veteran of 2 wars: ******* and the 1st Gulf War. I was refused the alleged 10% discount because the plywood I bought was on their "commodities" list. ********* defines commodities as: "a raw material or primary agricultural product that can be bought and sold, such as copper or coffee." A commodity can be virtually ANYthing you can buy or sell. This is a way for Home Depot to show it "cares" for veterans yet CORPORATE Home Depot uses deceptive trade practices for it's coffers.The Home Depot

Unbelievable as my oven will not be delivered today August 2 2022 and no one called to inform me. Second time oven was not delivered. Two weeks ago the truck broke down and they cancelled delivery after we waited and ensured the day was clear. I have no oven and all store can say is we can deliver 8 days from now. What am I suppose to do with no oven for 8 days. I will never buy from Home Depot again. Had three or more weeks to make delivery and failed again. How can lowes order today and deliver tomorrow? Your store in ****************** is the worst!Store manager offered cash rebate which would cover dinner for two days how about the other six. Had zero sympathy and she could not explain why the order was cancelled. I asked her to call the delivery third party and have them deliver the oven as they have it in the warehouse and was told she could not do that. Is it really in the warehouse? Worst service ever and I was a loyal Home Depot buyer no more!!!Stephen C.

No.H6331-272862 request the installation of a door $2,832.69 . Home Depot ************* ************************** . Sr.********************* assisted me ,when he is checking the invoice ,I see ****** dollars more for uninstalling a door that does not exist I demand and he tells me that he cannot remove it without consulting with him ********** Sr. ************************** then calls me to call the installer to discuss price which I refuse because my deal is with Home Depot then Sr.**** calls indicating that the ****** dollars is in case the installer needs more material than what I paid For this service, what remains is reimbursed, which I tell you is fraud, since if I pay with the card, I wait more than a month billing until it is assembled and depend on the installer for a reimbursement. My experience as a Police officer is Fraud later. I speak with the Manager who was going to call me and he kept me waiting I never call I have been buying at Home Depont for more than 30 and it is the first time something like this has happenedThe Home Depot

An employee ********* at the ****** store on *********** scanned one of my items twice during check out. When she handed me the receipt, I immediately informed her of this. She told me to go to customer ********************** to get a refund. They refused to refund me. I hadn't even left the store yet. They told me to call the store tomorrow to get it refunded. I walked back to inform ******* of this and she made eye contact with me and then literally RAN AND HID FROM ME. I then spoke with a manager and he even gave me his card. I called the next day and they told me they couldn't help and I had to physically come back into the store. I am unable to come back in and also I was already in the store and they did nothing. Also, when I called them they put me on hold multiple times for periods of longer than 30 minutes or dropped the call. I have filed a report with corporate, the **** my bank, and I am now filing a police report. They stole this money from me. What they did was illegal and they know it, which is probably why they are dodging my calls. STAY AWAY from this place at all costs. This store needs to be shut down. I have now wasted over 6 hours of my time filing these reports and trying to make contact with someone. Ridiculous.The Home Depot

In September 2021, we signed a contract with Home Depot to renovate the kitchen, which mainly includes replacement of cabinet doors, drawers, refacing cabinet, new countertop and splash back tiling. We paid in full in advance.On February 7, 2022, Home Depot entered the construction site for the first time. It was two very new contractors with very poor technology. Construction quality is also poor. What's more, the drawer and cabinet doors used by Home Depot are not solid wood when the contract is being talked about in August 2021.From February to April 2022, for up to two months, we complained to the project manager of Home Depot who was responsible for our project. The project manager's response was delayed. We called the project manager 5 times and he would not answer the call. And about the email: it takes three to five emails repeatedly to get a reply, and the project manager of Home Depot responds to one email, which takes 2 weeks or more. And half of the kitchen decoration, the quality is poor, which seriously affects our daily life.In April 2022, Home Depot's program manager admitted that sales misled us during the sale process. Agreed, reface the cabinets again, and replace the cabinet doors. He said they would reinstall it the week of May 31.We waited in the half-finished kitchen until the May 31st promised by the project manager, but there was no word from Home Depot, and we kept asking.Home Depot did not send a contractor until the week of June 13. Home Depot's contractor this time peeled off the previous laminate and put on a new laminate. But this time the more serious situation is that the new sticker is torn off and the inside of the cabinet is seriously damaged. Clearly visible when the cupboard is opened.Home Depot's kitchen renovation is like a nightmare. Not only is the whole process difficult to communicate, but also because the rework damages the interior of the cabinets a lot, seriously hurting the value of the kitchen and the home.The Home Depot
