1 starWorst experience ever!! Will never order appliances from Home Depot again! Delivery was scheduled for July 28th, my husband and I took work off to be there. The driver smashed his hand on the previous delivery so they tell us that our appliances wont be delivered until august 11th. When we are moving into our new house on Saturday and dont have appliances. We have two young babies that we need appliances for. Basically told us nothing they can do.Review fromGia I

1 starIf I could give less than 1 star IIf I could give less than 1 star I would. DEALING WITH HOME DEPOT HAS BEEN A NIGHT MARE! I wish I looked at reviews before ordering with them. If you are going to buy items from the store that is one thing but online ordering is A NIGHTMARE. I originally placed an order for pickup, when i went to the store (****************) to pick up the items, they told me "they had the order for 2 days but it was too large that no one wanted to do it" - The response was lazy an unprofessional. The supervisor told me they would get the items delivered for free for the inconvenience but when I called they had no record of this. I then replaced the order for delivery on July 6th and it is now July 28th and I am still waiting on items. I call every single day and every day they tell me "the items will be there tomorrow" but they don't come or some items come and not others. This is holding up my job. I tried to reorder a few items for pickup to keep the job moving and it happened AGAIN. They had no record of my pickup order even though I had confirmation. Customer ********************** & the stores do not communicate and are useless. They will put you on hold for 40 minutes and come back with NO RESOLUTION and no compensation offer. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SHOP AT LOWES. YOU WILL REGRET ORDERING WITH HOME DEPOT.Review fromElisabeta J.

1 starI made a $13, ****** contract on May 2021, with Home Depot to install new impact windows and patio doors at the address mentioned above.The subcontractor partially finished the job on August 26, 2021.On the Certificate of Completion I mentioned missing:1. Patio door screen. 2. Clips at the Office window. 3. Flat Bar at bathroom window After SIX MONTHS (08/26/2021 - 02/22/2022) more than a hundred calls, emails and messages, Somebody from Home Depot came and installed the patios screen doors.He left promising to come back to finish the job and , not to worry, he will call the ****************** to schedule the final inspection. Since then he disappeared!I called the city inspector, who understands that Im a 71 years old lady, that I cant apply for a reasonable home insurance rate because not having the inspection, legally my house doesnt have impact windows! The city inspector, so professional and so caring, came and said he will get in touch with Home Depot and get this problem resolved. He spoke with the ** district relations manager who PROMISED to finish the job, get the photos from the contractor and schedule the final inspection. LAYER! I called and I sent messages to ******************* many times, that he got tired of me and blocked my calls! I do have a case # ******** with The Home Depot *************** Resolution Expediter ********************. It didnt help!Now, its more than a year since the job started! Since then Im living this nightmare!I paid Home Depot $13,000 and I dont know if the job is going to pass the city requirements and the hurricane season weather conditions!!!I have a list of Home Depot people that I contact, from the headquarters in ******* to the ** stores near me, and all the managers in South *******. NOBODY CARES ! NOT FINISHING JOBS, NOT CLOSING PERMITS AND IGNORING CUSTOMERS IS THE HOME DEPOT POLICY. Somebody has to do something! Lets hope BBB is that!Review fromDiane L

1 starWe ordered a dishwasher and microwave on July 11 from Home Depot. The appliances were delivered to our home on July 18. We paid for installation for both appliances. When the installers (MY2K) came to our home, they told us they had 15 minutes to install both appliances.They proceeded to install the microwave. Being in such a hurry they ended up tearing up our cabinets during installation. The whole time they were looking at their watch saying it was past their 15 minutes and they had another installation scheduled. They looked at the dishwasher, said it could not be installed because they were unable to remove the old dishwasher due to not enough clearance between the granite countertop & the wood floor. With that, they left our home, leaving us to figure out what to do with the new dishwasher. We contacted Home Depot. We pulled out the old dishwasher, which took about 10 minutes. There was absolutely no issues with clearance and we ended up installing the new dishwasher. We ran a wash cycle & the dishwasher would not heat properly so we contacted Home Depot once again. They called Bosch and Bosch sent out a technician who ran three cycles with the water temperature never reaching more than 80 degrees. The heating element and control panel did not work. The technician said it was no fault of ours and the dishwasher needed new parts. We asked Home Depot to take the damaged one back and replace it with a new one. Home Depot wants Bosch to replace it. Bosch wants to repair it instead of replacing it. Parts have been ordered but we have no timeline of when the parts will arrive. Bosch originally said it could take up to 6 to 8 weeks for repair. This is day 10 and we still have no working dishwasher and no idea when we will get one. We deserve a new dishwasher, not one that has never worked and needs repair.Don't buy an appliance from Home Depot!! 1 starWe contracted to have cabinets installed along a wall in our home. The job was attempted twice and botched twice. My wife acquired a HD credit card for payment of the job. Due to the botched installation we wanted to put a hold on payments until such time as the job was successfully completed.This is where the runaround began. Customer ********************** stated that since it was a special order, any changes would need to be initiated by the store. The store stated that they could not do anything about freezing the account until completed. If you have a consumer HD credit card, I recommend that you destroy it immediately as there is no customer ********************** or recourse with them.On a personal note I was a project and program manager for nearly 40 years and I have never seen such incompetent work or poor contract administration. 1 starOn approximately May 28th, I purchased a **** Deer lawn mower, (using my home depot card), from Home depot store in ***********, ******* . The price of the mower was approximately $2400.00. The mower stopped working after one usage. When I went to the store to inform them of the situation, I was told that I had 30 days to return the mower. I was not aware of the policy. I was told that I needed to take the mower to a **** Deere repair shop. When I called the **** Deere shop, I was told that they could pickup and return the mower for approximately $250.00. When I took the mower to the shop, I was informed that it will be approximately 1 month before they could check/repair mower. I have to pay someone $60.00 every two weeks to get my lawn mowed. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford to pay someone to maintain my yard and make payments toward my credit card. I feel that if I was a White individual I will not be treated this way. I feel that Home Depot would have replaced the mower with no problem. 1 starToday, 7/27, we had our second refrigerator delivery scheduled. The first refrigerator was delivered on 7/15 and was damaged on the side so we requested a replacement from Home Depot/Whirlpool, which was a long process of making phone calls, waiting and reporting to various individuals. When the replacement arrived one man from the *** delivery team proceeded to place the refrigerator on the lift gate then maneuver a washing machine around while standing on the lift gate. The lift gate seemed to be sloping downward so the refrigerator was wobbling and sliding toward the edge, which he didnt notice because he was moving the washing machine around for some reason. I was shocked when the refrigerator fell 4-5 off the raised lift gate smack onto its side and bounced on the road below. The deliver man proceeded to upright the appliance and said, it should be okay because its encased in styrofoam. We OBVIOUSLY refused to accept it. Now I have to go through the process of requesting another replacement and emptying/refilling the new appliance if it ever arrives unharmed. It is stressful enough when you have to replace a large appliance without this added unnecessary stress. I will never purchase an appliance from Home Depot again if they continue to use this delivery service.Review fromVivian R

1 starI ordered a new front door back in April. Once it FINALLY arrived July 20th, I scheduled delivery. It was supposed to come on Saturday, but they failed to put it on the truck. No reason why, they just forgot. Person on the phone was supposed to schedule it for Monday, but when I called to verify Monday delivery she said Monday was full and they could only deliver on Tuesday....and of course Tuesday is here and only one of the 2 doors has been delivered! This is the worst customer ********************** and delivery service I have ever experienced. I highly recommend using anyone except Home Depot for any orders that require delivery or ordering.Review fromThu N

1 starHorrible customer ********************** and product knowledge. Do not go to the carrier and i20 location, manager **** and ****** are as helpless as can be. Spent $1000 on behr one coat paint as they suggested, ended up painting 3 coats to get the coverage I need. They just basically told me to contact behr for the issues. Great job Homedepot will be boycotting you and go out of my way to be at lowes instead I shouldnt have to contact the manufacturer for things that you carry if you got any customer ********************** ethics at all. 1 star"It's Our Policy" worst thing a business can EVER say to a customer. We ordered a refrigerator on 7/13/22. Set up delivery for 7/22/22. I set the entire day aside to prepare for the delivery. We received and email with a delivery range between 3pm to 7pm. Nothing arrived. We called store and spoke with ******* a store manager who's only answer was "call the delivery center" in the morning after 8am. First thing Sat morning 8am we call the delivery center, speak to the manager expecting her to give us explanation of why we were never notified she had no answer. Asked what time "today" the fridge would be delivered. Was told you have been moved to the bottom of the list and moved to next Sat the 30th. Never apologized or offered and alternative was told "it's our policy" I've never ever heard of a company having a policy to completely dissatisfy their customers. I've sent 10's of thousands of dollars with Home Depot remolding my home. They have officially lost me as a customer for life.
