      Zero stars. I opened an account recently and they charged me a $175 annual upon activation and $3 credit protection, then they send me my monthly statement with a due date, I havent had my card for a week yet! I called to complain and have the annual fee removed and they wouldnt do it because its their policy. Later that night, I chatted with a representative and demanded my account to be closed and the charges removed, again they wouldnt remove the charges. I closed the account anyways and now reporting their business to the BBB. Absolutely horrible customer service!!

      Why are companies allowed to feed off the economically vulnerable only to try and ruin us instead of helping us so that we can have brighter futures? Companies in the financial sector need to be regulated so they no longer prey upon the economically vulnerable because my once 689 credit score has been lowered by a company who never once tried to work with me to meet a resolution,thank you for nothing ******

      IF I COULD PICK NO STARS I WOULD!!! Closed my account as of 8/29/24. NEVER will do business with *******. I had fraud charges appear on my card and proved I did not incur the charges. Fortiva insisted I repay over $200.00 of the fraud charges even though I proved I didn't incur the amounts. Poor, poor customer service. Steer clear of anything to do with this credit company. I have had an Apple Music subscription for well over 10 years and yet ******* said I charged over $200 worth of music I had to pay back...um, no. Why would I buy music when I get it on a monthly plan and can download all I want for that subscription rate?! I paid off the disputed amount and closed my account. I don't cater to thieves. Please DO NOT give them the time of day and if you do have an account I highly suggest you close it. In addition to this I have asked for them to waive my yearly fees of $80/plus a $12.50 monthly fee. They refuse and even made me pay for the outstanding $12.50 fee for August even though I closed the account. Highway robbery at its finest. BAD, BAD, BAD company.

      Before you finance anything, make sure it's NOT through Fortiva. I had the pleasure of learning the hard way, when I was notified that my 700+ credit score PLUMMETED OVER 90 POINTS after signing up with Vivint Home Security, who I've also reported on here. ****** learned.

      Very poor service. They took out a payment and said I did it. I did not. They won't reverse the payment,instead will send a paper check. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

      ************ stay away from doing a business with them. I have a card with them for past three years. I never paid attention to what interest rate they are charging. When I opened it, The interest rate was around 29% now they higher it to 36% which is an outrageous and unacceptable. The yearly fee was $59 now they began charging $99 along with the monthly maintenance fee of $7.25. This company should be sued by misleading the customers and with their malign practices. Closing my account with them once the balance is fully paid smh

      I received a credit card for which I did not apply or authorize. I received a bill for an annual fee...for a card I did not authorize. I spoke with ***** on 7/14/2024 who said the card was closed. On 8/2/2024 I received a text message that Credit Card payment of $27.00 is schedule to be processed on 8/5/2024 - how???? So, I called, and was transferred to 5 people with no resolution.Fortiva Credit I received a bill in the mail...out of the clear blue...for $51 and annual fee and a paper statement fee. I NEVER APPLIED FOR this card. I called the number on the statement and spoke with ***** on 07/14/2024 indicating that I never applied for the card, not sure why I'm getting a bill and an annual fee particularly for something for which I never applied. She stated the account as sent for $1500 you know a credit card to shop for things. I told her as plainly and as direct that I could - that I did not apply for nor did I authorize a credit card. She said I understand ma'am and closed the account. I said what guarantee do I have that the account is closed, because I don't want to have to call back in again... She assured me the account was closed. On 8/2/2024, I received a text message (????) Fortiva Alert: Your Fortiva Credit Card payment of $27.00 is scheduled to be processed on 8/5/2024. I immediately picked up the phone to call them, where I was transferred 5 times (*****, Almdep, ****, ****, and **** agent # C94 or C4C...which she would not confirm) Cath wanted me to verify by giving my dob, the last 4 of my social, my zip code...which was a change from what was asked from the other agents. I immediately became even more suspicious - how did they get my information???!!!!

      I have had this card for two years. I have never been late on a payment and routinely paid the card off in full. My APR was 28%. For no reason they said they was going to increase my APR to 36%. I told them I was not OK with that. They told me they would shut down my credit card and I still have to pay the balance, Along with the interest. this is ********

      I told them I never applied for an account and they told me they removed it from my information. But they constantly harass me for payment on an account they confirmed I dont have. I also told them if they continue to harass me I would file a complaint here.

      This is a business to not be trusted. If you miss a payment they'll charge you TWO different late fees that are essentially the same thing twice. Under the guise of it being two different things they essentially charge you a web payment return, and a check return fee. It makes no sense logically and makes the credit cards customer fall into what's called a debt magnet. They keep charging you fees and post payments later then the due date to justify. Some have reported on reedit they didn't even use the card and were charged.
