      They charged my interest on my loan which i recieved from ashley ********* during promo of 6 months no interest . They have put me on hold or said theyd call back multiple times and even ashley ********* has tried helping me with the matter. Ive Made payments on time and when I login to my account they reversed my payments which were taken out of my account, then proceeded to charge me late fees for each. Don't get credit through fortiva or synchrony.

      No stars giving here.I put my accounts on auto pay the they keep take my account off in December they did that without me knowing but I paid my account my balance is low today I asked them why dont I have a available balance she goes and looks at my account comes back and she said Im sorry to inform you but your account has been closed for what happened on December 15 what happened on December 15 so ** looked in my account nothing happened I paid on December 21. I got oh OK eat that when you guys took me off auto pay but I didnt see no late fees, she has nothing. Your account is closed and we were not reopen it for you. I got one time being late but I wasnt late it was your guy as well. Sorry cant do nothing for you never do any business with *******

      As of today 01/03/2024, I received a ***** service charge with this company despite the fact that I had paid the balance that I owed months ago, AND I had this credit line through value city furniture for at least 2 years and never was charged a service fee during that time. I was told that as of 12/28/2023 they decided to assign my account a service fee to keep maintenance on the account even though the account was paid in full and I did not use it anymore. So on 12/28/2023 they assigned my account the service fee and did not tell me about the changes to my account nor give me a 30 day notice of the service fee charge and changes to my account- or give me time to close my account to avoid the charge all together. I was unaware of the service fee this entire time because again I was never charged a service fee the two years I had this account and I was paying off what I owed. They decided to charge me this fee 6 days ago without notice of changes of my account. If you are a customer at value city furniture and are deciding to do financing with VALUE CITY FURNITURE DO NOT DO IT. As they deal with *******. IT's not worth the headache.

      NEVER do business with Fortiva. I paid my card off more than a year ago. I received a text message that I have a past due balance 15 months later. They charged an annual fee and late charges that amounted to $80.00. I NEVER received any other notice in the mail. I was told that I didn't close the account so I have to pay the annual fee + late fees. So I was forced to close the account which affected my credit score. The man I spoken to said they won't tell you about the annual fee.

      Definitely scammers! Called and canceled my card and paid it off. Asked if there was anymore fees. "Nope this is it nothing else." Now I'm getting charged for multiple late fees and talking with supervisors nothing is happening. Ruined my credit score. Never do business with them ever!

      I have a Vivant security system and used Fortiva for it.And I make all payments on time with FORTIVA. I've never missed a payment. But out of nowhere, I get a CREDIT CARD sent to my house and a BILL. I have not signed up for a credit card, I have no given consent for my account to be transferred to a credit card. I was NEVER NOTIFIED OF THIS. Not only that, but I SIGNED NO PAPERWORK. So I have an account I can't service, I can't make a payment when I have had automatic payments set up since the origin date of the account. But since ******* decided to change the contract, I signed and open a credit card in my name. Of which the legal council at the ********** of ******* affairs said is FRAUDULENT. They have the original contract and have researched it and notified me this is a serious issue. I'm a disabled veteran and I have no patience for this. I spoke with my attorney and was told to contact the company via three methods. Furthermore, I have used their website's contact page, the **** number and NOW the BBB. I was told by legal council that what was done is not legal. I did not consent to the transfer of my account to a ********************** card account with completely different rules and interest rates. Of which I received zero notification. Just a random credit card and a bill with a late statement. But as the attorney stated that, it may hit the real social security account holder's ********************** report and not mine. And my attorney wants to know why someone else's social security number was used in order to secure this line of credit, when I have good credit and a perfect payment history for the last 5 years. And to find out whose social security number it is. Because they should be informed the Fortiva is committing fraud by using their social security number. There is no possible way they have 100% of my information correct BUT my social security number. And that in their research this is a common complaint against Fortiva with Vivant accounts. This need fix now.

      I tried calling 3 different times to their customer support about a past due balance, but was denied speaking with a representative in *****************; yet their corporate headquarters are located in *******, **.The first representative was very difficult to understand and told me that I have a balance, even though I paid the account off in October, 2023. She said she could wave the transaction (which I still do not know what the transaction was and for what amount), but my account would be closed out. Again, I could barely understand what she is saying to me, but made out that portion of the call. I asked to speak to a representative in ***************** and she refused my request, so I hung up.Called back 20 minutes later and immediately asked to speak to an ******** representative and was refused again, but told that she would put in a request for a representative from the US to get back to me in **** business days. I called back a 3rd time, only to get the run around from in overseas representative, but then connected me to a supervisor, telling the same thing about the **** days to have a US representative contact me. Are you kidding? There is a consumer act, that if you request to speak to a representative in the US, you are to be transferred immediately. Not sure what this company did with their stateside helpdesk, but they are failing miserably with the current overseas one. No resolution as of 12/5/23 Terrible customer support!

      I am with Fortivia for financing of my security camaras for Vivint Home Security. My ACH payments were $27 and some change. Then all of a sudden my ACH payments increased and was told that they sent emails to customers advising them that they can elect to switch to their credit cards. If they did not get a response from the customers their account will be switched automatically. Apparently, I missed that email and now my payments fluctuate every month from $30, $58, to $72 or $60 because Fortivia has changed my account to a ********************** account without my approval and think that this is okay to rob consumers with extremally high interest rates. They even sent me a credit card that I have never used but are using the term, your credit card interest has increased.These people are a consumers nightmare and are crooks. I have since blocked them from taking payments from my bank account. I am hoping to see a class action law suite to seek monies that they have stole from ,y account.

      I went online to update my auto pay and even though on my end, it looked like it had accepted the change, theyre telling me on their side it did not, to justify them wrongfully charging me late fees. This company is unscrupulous and they scam their customers. Run far far away from this company!!!!
