      Please don't get a card with them I got a call about my payment I informed the customer service I filed chapter seven please don't contact me again. I was trying to give him my case number however customer service representative just continue to read the disclaimer.I had to tell him I would be contacting my lawyer and I hung up. I called my attorney to report them very unprofessional customer service.

      I was late on a Fortiva payment and I called them and set a payment arrangement or I thought I made a payment arrangement. I called a few days later and asked to waive the late Fees the Guy says yeah no problem processed my payment. I called a couple of weeks after payment post and was informed that they closed my account due to Being over the Limit. Not because of mu usage of the card but because they added so many Fees. No warning no call no email no letter. Good Riddens!

      Predatory lending, I was at ********** and was encouraged to apply for a Card at the register.balance *****- went online charged a sofa & dining set for ***** the sofa looked as if it was made for a little person and the dining set . not knowing interest was ***** a month ****** minimum payment, being charged **** for credits,**** balance transfers, **** cash advances, **** ******* ******* online, changed my payment date ,sending online statements so I can't review how I'm being charged.

      The interest rate jumps to 30%. Just to put it into perspective. A credit line of $1400, will get interest charged for ONE MONTH of $285. The minimum payment is only $110. That being said, you will not only never pay it off, but you will always accrue more credit utilization. In my state this is counted as Criminal usury but they essentially alluded to that they are based in ******** it doesn't apply to them.

      We bought a security system from Vivent who uses Fortiva as their financing system. We had them 1 year. Our discussion with Vivent was that we wanted our security system to be no more than the system we had just paid off. The representative pushed this through Fortiva for ***** per month. That kept us in the ballpark of the prior security system. At the first of this month we got a monthly bill with a payment of *****. I called them and this was their reply...we are not a loan company. We will charge x amount of interest when the rates go up. At that point and several raging texts back and forth...We decided to just pay off the Fortiva sharks. That was back on Sept 14th we mailed a check for the balance. I called today because this check has not been cashed. I had to speak with someone with broken English, I could hardly understand them and was told to give it more time! This was not a small check! I worry that there is something else going on here...like holding the check so that yet another month can be charged to our account. They are criminals and should not be able to loan or act on another companies behalf to sell merchandise or services. Unscrupulous practices are going on here. I would like to see some type of class action suit against them. I'll be the first one in line!

      Never will open another credit card with them again! Tried to do a payment plan to lower my monthly plan because of health issues but they wouldnt help. Said I had to be disabled, hospitalized or unemployed to use my credit protection. Then the only plan they had was to pay the minimum the was already high and I no longer can afford in order to do a payment plan. They are thieves and dont try to help none of their customers.

      I will be reporting this to better buisness bureau. I cancelled this card never used it the team didnt finish closing ot and now email me for 400 dollars. And ding my credit with this fallacy. Reading other reports this looks like a fortiba buisness practice to SCAM because its on here tons. I want to use for restitution. Dinging credit on scam behavior AND charging innocent people? With records of my cancel?? So mad!!

      Do NOT waste your time with Fortiva ("myfortiva")! I had two cards with them for almost three years and was NEVER late on any payments and heavily used one of the two. I found out a few days before posting this review that the account I used the most was closed for "OVERUSE" of the card! WHAT?!? Yes, I used to card too much, and they didn't like it. This was not closed for fraud or anything else since I was an excellent customer. They literally told me (after I called them) that they closed the account because I used the card too much. At that point, I had them close my other account with them since I have no trust in their services anymore.Also, they did NOT notify me of the closure, they just did it and I had to call them to find out why my available credit was zero. I received no email, text messages, or postal mail regarding the closure.I would also caution anyone trying to rebuild their credit because of their fees; there are better options out there. Fortiva not only charges a high annual fee, they also charge a monthly $12 "maintenance" fee on top of the annual fee. JUST SAY NO to this company!

      Do not apply for the Aspire credit card someone hacked into my account and charged about $400. I filed a fraud claim and was only reimbursed for $129 because I didn't catch the other charges sooner. Some of the charges were made at a Wal-Mart in another state. I would give them zero stars if I could. Who wants to pay for someone else's charges. That is stealing.
