I previously notified all Bureau Equifax, on various occasions that I am a victim of identity theft and requested that they do the following: I am a victim of identity theft. I recently learned that my personal information was used to open various accounts at these companies I did not open or authorize these accounts, and that they be closed immediately. To please send me written confirmation that I am not responsible for these charges on these accounts and take appropriate steps to remove information about these accounts from my credit files. I enclosed a copy of my FTC identity theft report, proof of identity, utility bill, social, and statement letter because the information they are reporting is the result of identity theft, and inaccurate sent this via upload to all there bureaus website, Ive called various times to speak to the proper fraud department and gotten various responses that made no sense or contradicting other reps as well and certified mail more than once I requested that they stop reporting this information to the CRA's, as directed by section 623 (a) (1) (B) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15U. S.C 1681s-2 (a) (1) (B), I asked that they take these steps as soon as possible. I also enclosed a copy of the FTC's notice to furnishes, which explains their responsibilities when reporting information to CRC's, I asked to stop reporting this fraudulent information, investigate this matter, and delete any disputed items as soon as possible, please send me a letter explaining their findings and actions. I also asked for verification of everything since they are only stating its accurate and verified, I want to know how its being verified and never received any from none of the bureaus. All they kept doing is just updating my report with remarks stating that the reinvestigation was updated from the previous one & stated as verified I've filed reports with the **** they just close it.

Unfortunately, we are unable to initiate our investigation of the consumers concerns because additional information is required. In order to better assist with the consumers concerns, please have the consumer provide the account names, account numbers, specific concerns and items pertinent to his/her complaint or dispute.

Equifax is a repository of credit information which has been supplied by creditors, collection agencies and public record holders. As such, we do not collect or maintain copies of contracts between consumers and their creditors. Not all companies choose to report account information to Equifax. Those that do report on a regular basis appear on the credit report. However, through our investigation process, we are able to contact the furnishers of the information and either confirm or correct the data reporting on the file. Once a request for verification of a disputed item(s) has been received by Equifax, each data furnisher will be contacted directly by Equifax. This process is usually accomplished by sending the request for verification electronically and may take 30 days to complete. Once the data furnisher's response is returned to Equifax, any updates related to the disputed item(s) will be recorded on the credit report. Once all Data furnishers have responded to our request for their review, the consumer is sent a copy of each of the Data Furnishers responses they provided to Equifax. Should you still disagree with the Data Furnishers response, please contact each creditor directly for additional assistance and/or regarding any signed documentation pertaining to the disputed item(s).

I am rejecting this response because: The unverified items listed below remain on my credit report in violation of Federal Law. They are stating they don't collect or maintain copies of contracts between consumers and their creditors yet when they purchase the account, they get an original purchaser agreement thru the original creditor which by the way states the terms and conditions, within that agreement it's a clause in there that states information in there may not be accurate so they are willfully and knowingly are lying. I have been doing my research and have written them already three different times with the accounts number, ftc report and proof of identity. They are required under the **** to have a copy of the original creditors documentation on file to verify that this information is mine and is correct. In the results of their first investigation, and reinvestigation they stated in writing that they verified that those items are being reported correctly? So again, I ask Who verified those accounts?
They have NOT provided me a copy of ANY original documentation required under Section 609 (a)(1)(A) & Section 611 (a)(1)(A) (a consumer contract with my signature on it) and under Section 611 (5)(A) of the **** They are required to promptly DELETE all information which cannot be verified.
The law is very clear as to the Civil liability and the remedy available to me for negligent noncompliance (Section 617) if They fail to comply. I am a litigious consumer and fully intend on pursuing litigation in this matter to enforce my rights under the ****.
I demand the following accounts be verified or deleted immediately.

I realized this month that I was a victim of identity fraud and there were inquiries on my credit report that I did not authorize or approve. I contacted experian to have those removed the representative that I spoke to at experian took it upon herself to remove my active and accurate car loan to this dispute, without my permission or knowledge. Due to this they reported to equifax and equifax removed active car loan from report altogether. I have called several times and they tell me there is nothing that they can do to have it reinstated. I have sent letter with proof of an active car loan and its a joint account with husband and the car loan shows on his credit report as active. All while inquiries that are fraudulent still remain.

On 08/25/2022 I sent in a dispute letter about collection accounts that are being reported on my credit report that is not mine. Since September 2022 Equifax have sent me several letters about sending in verification. I have sent in my verification on two different times and the collections are being reported as they are mine. On November 14, 2022 I received a letter stating: The Results of Our Reinvestingation: The results on the report are blank and nothing is listed. Since that letter I have received two more letters asking me to send in verification when I have already sent it in by certified mail. Equifax has since closed the dispute case in December and as of today I have not received any reports or the removal of the incorrect collections that is being reported. This investigation has been going on since September 2022. Please remove the collections from my credit report as this incorrect information is hurting my credit score. Collection Accounts: 1. Often, Equifax will then transmit the dispute to the furnisher of the information (ie. the bank associated with a disputed credit card) for review and investigation. Equifax electronically sends a notification of the dispute, including a summary of the relevant information submitted, to the respective furnisher. The furnisher reviews the information provided, conducts an investigation with respect to the disputed information and reports the results back to us electronically. Equifax then makes deletions or changes to the credit file. The name, address and, if reasonably available, the telephone number of the furnisher(s)/source(s) of the information contacted while processing the dispute(s) is shown under the 'Results of the investigation' section on the cover letter that accompanies the copy of the revised credit file.
If they have any additional questions, they may call ************** or they may visit www.myequifax.com.  With myEquifax, they can create an account to manage their security freeze, add or remove fraud alerts, and initiate credit file disputes. Additionally, they can access free Equifax credit reports and other products.

      Complaint: 18884588

I am rejecting this response because: The collection accounts have nothing to do with a bank account. These are not my accounts this investigation and reinvestigation was done last year September 23,2022.  I do not understand why these accounts need to be investigated for another 30 days when it has been 5 months already? My original dispute was sent in August 2022. So when does it take Equifax 6months to delete inaccurate information? I will proceed with the legal steps moving forward to remove this information.

      Sincerely,

On August 3, 2022, I completed a CFPB complaint on Equifax, ***************** Nexis, LCI, and Experian regarding a bankruptcy report that is showing on my credit report. This is inaccurate information. None of the credit bureaus responded to a letter that I previously sent them in July of 2022. So, I had to do a CFPB complaint to get some actual results and that still wasn't to my satisfaction as there was no method of true verification. The following are the laws that were violated: 1. 15 usc ****(a)(4) Infringed Upon a Consumers right to privacy 2. 15 usc ****b(a)(2) No Permissible purpose/ No written instruction 3. 15 usc ****a-( e) I did not give a Permissible purpose nor did they have my written instruction. I also contacted the ** Bankruptcy Courts and they mailed me back a letter dated November 10 stating that they do not send information to the credit bureaus. So, the claim that it was verified by the ** Bankruptcy Courts of *********, ** is not accurate. PACER also states on its website that they do not provide information to third parties either. I will be attaching both of those to this complaint. I will be attaching my driver's license and a copy of a power bill.
