On October 24, 2022 I ******************************* sent a formal letters to the following banks companies currently showing on my credit report. The banks are furnishing incorrect information to the cusumer reporting agency. The account are currently showing the status as Charge off. By law, these companies were supposed to send me a copy of my ****c when they first reported these account as charge off. The banks have not sent me a copy of my ****C to properly file it with my taxes. *** publication 2021 states that even if you dont receive your ****-c, you must report canceled debt - Charge off - as gross income on your tax return. I would like to inform you that the *** is clearly stating that income does not get reported on the consumer report. Debt is reported on the consumer report, Not income. The *** states that lenders must file form ****- C and send the consumer a copy if the amount is $600 or more. The above paragraph is taken from the *** 2021 publication. My letter clearly stated that I was formally asking these companies to provided me with a copy of my ****c to properly filed it with my tax return for which they failed to respond during a appropriate time. More than 15 days have passed. I would like to know why is income being reported as debt on my consumer report? This clearly doesnt make no sense to me right now. Something is clearly incorrect with the way this information is being reported, either way it is a violation of the accuracy of the reporting. By definition, the *** clearly states that a canceled debt - Charge off - is an income. The reporting of this account as debt is inaccurate. 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 -says that this banks companies are a furnisher of information to a customer reporting agency, and that they are prohibited by law to furnish inaccurate information, i sent them an letter demanding that they cease and desist the reporting of incorrect and inaccurate information immediately.

Dear Better Business Bureau I am writing a complaint about Equifax bureau, I sent a letter on 07/26/22 stating I was having some accounts and information that did not belong to me which I consider it is inappropriate activity. I also sent them some documents to prove my request.I have attempted to contact EQUIFAX so many times via phone and via mail, so they can resolve this issue as soon as possible but they have not responded to ANY of my requests. Please let me know what is the best option to resolve this issue with them. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
