      I mailed Equifax a notice of an unrecognized collection due to identity theft on June 14 via certified mail. Equifax Tracking # ********************** Account name ******* WIRELESS - SOUTH Account # ************** You have not completed a proper investigation pursuant to FRCA 15 USC ********************************************************************************************** face a fine. Pursuant to FRCA 15 USC 1681c2 any information resulting from identity theft must be blocked.Beyond that none of the information is reporting the same across the 3 bureaus which points to negligence and a failure to execute proper due diligence. How can an account be both open and a charge off? How can an account be both open on 09/27/2014 and 09/01/2014? This information is inaccurate and fraudulent and pursuant to the **** any account that is reporting inaccurately must be deleted. PLEASE REMOVE.

      Hello, my name is *****************************, and I am writing to delete the following information in my file. The items I need deleted are listed in the report. I am a victim of identity theft and did not make this change. I ask that the items be deleted to correct my credit report. I reported the theft of my identity to the ************************ and I also have enclosed copies of the ************************'s Identity Theft Affidavit. Please delete the items as soon as possible.Based on,15 U.S. Code $ 1681c-2 a consumer reporting agency shall block the reporting of any information in the file of a consumer that the consumer identifies as information that resulted from an alleged identity theft, not later than 4 business days after the date of receipt. It's been more than 30 days and you as the credit reporting agencies are in VIOLATION of this law because I am a victim of identity theft! Please remove these accounts as soon as possible!

      I sent my dispute letter last 06/09/2022 and checked my results today and was upset to find out that I didn't get the results that I expected. There are a lot of inaccuracies shown in my report and even specify the specific inaccurate details when I sent my details. No one ever responded to me.       I have three Items that do not belong to me on my Experian credit report. For the past 2 years I have been fighting to have these items removed. Several of my letters have requested that they send me proof that the debt belongs to me. The bureaus are returning messages stating that the debt has been verified. They have said they verified the debt with the actual Creditor, But how has this debt been verified ? no one has sent me any signature ID or anything that would confirm that I indeed have an account with the creditor. I sent a certified letters to Experian, requesting an investigation of the the items on my report that were incorrect and not mine. 1. **** of America xxxxxxxxxxxx **** , ****************** xxxxxxxxxxxx ****, Portfolio Recovery xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx *********************************************** appearing on my credit report. I've sent in proof of address. These address should not appear they do not belong to me. Where are they furnishing these addresses from, once again im being told its from the Creditor, however if these accounts are not mine how can the Creditor verify an incorrect address ?-PO ************************************************ -******************************************************************************* I received responses from Portfolio Recovery, OneMain and Discover. All of which have either an incorrect address and amounts owed for credit accounts I never signed for. They also have no proof that the account belongs to me. No ID no proof of signature. They are Falsely Reporting items on my report that have hindered me from getting a mortgage to purchase a home and purchase a vehicle. My rights have been violated ... my life has been violated because Experian is choosing to report debts that I do not belong to me. I have sent in FTC reports requested debt validation, all to be told over the last 24+ months that this debt is verified with no proof of ID or signature. Im at my wits end of constantly challenging this matter with no resolve.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Several investigations have been conducted with the same result that I have given in my original complaint. If said debt belongs to me then provide information other than a **** that was mailed to an address that is not mine. Ive reported fraud on my account and Equifax had done nothing to adjust it. This has hindered me since 2019 with trying to purchase a home because of these incorrect items. I have provided the *** report that has confirmed fraud and we are still conducting yet another re-investigations. I feel like Equifax is in cohorts with these companies, because in the midst of these false items on my report I am the only party being affected negatively. So why is the information provided directly to Equifax not enough to remove all negative items that DO NOT belong to me removed.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Equifax was given several attempts to provide proof that these debts were indeed mine under the guide lines stated in the the **** for consumer rights and credit reporting. Equifax has consistently failed to do so which could result in a lawsuit because what I asked Equifax for each letter that was mailed was not given to me. 

      They are asking for more time to stall and do another investigation. I received a letter dated July 8th 2022 with the results of my latest investigation where I asked for proof. Once again no information was furnished to me stating how the debt was verified and the proof of verification that the debt indeed belongs to me. So why are we waiting on yet another investigation ? I can show the proof of this letter along with my FTC report stating there was fraud. My consumer rights under the **** have been violated over the last 24+ months. Some of which fall under  *******************************.  At this time I demand that these accounts that are negatively impacting me be removed immediately.

      Dear Better Business Bureau I am writing a complaint about the Equifax bureau, I sent a letter on 04/08/22 stating I had some accounts and information that did not belong to me which I consider it is inappropriate activity. I also sent them some documents to prove my request.I have attempted to contact EQUIFAX so many times via phone and mail so they can resolve this issue as soon as possible but have not responded to ANY of my requests.       This is a formal complaint against Equifax located in ******* **. This company has repeatedly violated my consumer rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and has caused me much unnecessary financial AND mental distress. For starters, they're reporting an erroneous & unverifiable account on my credit report and not to mention an account in which I've asked for proof of claim and in which they have not been able to provide, per the ***** Despite my efforts to resolve this unfortunate nightmare for several months now, Equifax has completely ignored my communications and legal submissions to remove this inaccurate information from my credit report. I am well aware of the many, many other complaints filed against this company for their illegal and unethical business. Yet, somehow, this company is still in business. This company's unprofessional & negligent behavior has caused lots of serious harm, not only to my ability to establish credit & good interest rates, but also to my character as a Professional and as an individual. Please help me, and the many other consumers just like me, to put a stop to the operation of these unethical & immoral business practices immediately. I sincerely appreciate your time and assistance in this matter and hope to hear from you very soon. As previously stated, this credit reporting agency is reporting erroneous, derogatory information about me to which is killing my *************************** Professional image. They've refused to send any proof of their claim because they have none since this account has never even existed.
