SCUMBAGS! SCUM...BAGS!They and their butties at trans union are playing games with my credit deliberately.First, they lower it from good to fair and then hold it there. It'll increase 10 or more points,I'll almost get to **************** again and they knock it back down again...for no reason.Anybody else experiencing this??? Let's do a "Class Action" lawsuit! This BS is obviously deliberate! I'm paid up on EVERYTHING! I pay early and pay more than is due everytime! SCUUUUUMBAAAAAAGS!

I have attempted to freeze my daughter's credit 3 times. All 3 times sending the same required information and documents and all three times being denied for one excuse or another. No problems doing this with my other 2 kids, and no problems with the other 2 credit services. When I call about it, I get someone who can't do anything and can't see any documents in the system. So where is my PII going? Not only are they not freezing the credit but they are increasing the risk of it being stolen when they apparently lose track of it three times!

Absolutely garbage company, we got hung up on 5 times and when we asked to be transferred to a supervisor we got transferred to the ****** department and hung up on yet again. When we finally got through the supervisor said they wouldn't help us unless they got the proper documents and we had sent them and the gentleman on the phone even said he was looking at them.

EQUIFAX is the absolute WORST. They had a HUGE Data Breach of OUR PERSONAL Data and had NO repercussions. The ** Government MUST look into this SHADY company - there is NO rhyme or reason how they determine my financial picture. I NEVER gave them permission to hold/store/ transmit my personal data to anyone. AVOID IF YOU CAN

Been waiting on the 1million dollars reimbursement for 2yrs now. Everytime i get in contact with the insurance department im rerouted to someone else! Now everything i have is in collections and im homeless , lost my job and scraping to stay alive. I cant open a bank account anywhere, ive turned in AN *** ftc report once and theyve sent me the same form a second time to fill out again! Ive filled 3 police reports and nothing is done. And now i cant even access an anual credit report. Ive been denied from my credit report at least 5 times. My identity theft is at an all time high and its insane that i cant get no (darn) help at no angle. Please Please Please this is absolutely ridiculous! I cant access my own annual credit report disclosure!

Been trying to get this fixed for almost 2 years now. I have a twin sister and our ssn/names are almost identical to each other. Well with that being said *** had to dispute a bunch of her accounts that have appeared on my credit report and is extremely hurting my score. The other 2 bureaus did a phenomenal job of fixing this, but Equifax keeps denying my dispute saying the accounts are mines WHEN THEY ARE NOT! I need this fixed ASAP

I would give 0 stars as well. Not only am I frustrated with Equifax, I am frustrated that some banks only use Equifax when pulling credit. I have been trying to help 2 of my adult kids get their credit fixed though them and it's not an easy process and no one seems to want to help. Not to mention I don't feel comfortable sending all they requested in the mail to fix the problem.

Equifax is by far the worst out of the 3. No issues with Transunion or Experian. Inconsistency with credit score with Equifax . Score decreases even when you file a dispute unlike the others. System is constantly down,. Very untrustworthy. How in the heck are they able to be responsible for pertinent data is beyond me. Shut them down! And let's not forget about the breach these guys had a few years ago. Hot Gawbage !!

They got my date of birth wrong. I called them. They asked me to send a copy of my driver's license and Social Security card. I sent it registered mail. It got there on September 10th. Today is September 17th and they still have not picked it up from the post office. Eventually I called her and asked for supervisor. They changed my date of birth over the phone. So why did they have to request all the sensitive information that is laying out there somewhere in an envelope. They're nowhere near as good as Experian and Transunion

If it is possible to rate lower than no stars, I would.I'm amazed how an organization entrusted with your I-9 information can be so lax in the type of businesses they partner with.I was on the phone with the *** and asked what was the policy? ******* said Equifax did not require a person using the 3rd party contractor to present additional ID, documents. I had my passport and the customer/confirmation email that contained a number so the 3rd party agent could verify who I was.I was told by the *** that the 3rd party could not verify using the number on the email that I was who I said I was along with matching my passport. Ridiculous! He then accused me of committing identy theft #SMH.I have had identitiy theft before and I don't give or use my ID'S documents losely.I should have looked up Equifax on BBB prior to calling their customer **********************. The 1 star rating matches what the *** said.Where is homeland security? Someone needs to check some of these 3 rd party contractors. #shady at the least.
