They have my name and DOB incorrect, and the customer ********************** agent told me to dispute the information via their website by sending a copy of my drivers license and my social security card, which I did. They came back stating it was "complete" but my information wasn't changed. Then they sent me a research request form in the mail asking me for the same information that I have already given them. I'm going to seek legal advice because this is totally unacceptable! The other credit reporting agencies have fixed the issue and have been great to work with. This company has been a complete joke!

I'm trying to buy a house and Equifax is incorrectly saying my account is either compromised or frozen which is not true, I can view it on the site just fine and it says it isn't frozen or compromised. Their phone tree does not allow you to get to a person which I think is illegal. This circus is preventing me from buying a house.

EQUIFAX IN ******* ******* IS DISCRIMINATING AGAINST PERSONS WHO ARE DESIROUS O* OBTAINING A *REE CREDIT REPORT BECAUSE IT IS *REE TO THE CONSUMER. THEY WERE GIVEN THE SS# O* THE CONSUMER/REQUESTEE AND ADDRESS PLUS DATE O* BIRTH PLUS WHAT KIND O* CREDIT CARD THEY HAVE ON *ILE YET THEY HAVE RE*USED TO HONOR THEIR OBLIGATION SAYING THAT THE INFORMATION GIVEN BY THE CONSUMER/ REQUESTEE IS NOT ENOUGH. THEY NEED A COPY O* THE CONSUMER/REQUESTEE DRIVERS LICENSE AND OTHER *ORMS O* DOCUMENTATION. THIS IN MY OPINION IS A TOTAL ABUSE O* POWER WIELDED BY EQUIFAX UPON ALL CONSUMERS. PLEASE NOTE THAT A CELL PHONE REGISTERED BY THE CONSUMER WAS USED TO MAKE THE TELEPHONE CALL WISH THE *** AND BBB COULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS MATTER THIS IS A DISASTER INTHE STATE O* *******. DATED MAY 22 2024 .CONSUMERS NEED MORE HELP *ROM THE * T C AND B B B.

I had a bank try to pull up my Crefit report and they keep getting an alert that states my Credit Report is compressed and they cant view it so therefore they had to withdraw my application. I have called Equifax several times and nobody can give me answers. The bank try to run it 4 times and now I have 4 hard inquires on my report from the same bank. They show I have 106 closed accounts when I only have 47 on my TransUnion and Experian report. I have called for 4 days to get this corrected so bank can run my report and no answers as to why they cant clean up my report. There are accounts that are over 13 years old and still on my report.

I am writing to express my frustration over your failure to correct my name on my credit report despite multiple requests and submitted documentation. This ongoing issue is not only inconvenient but also potentially damaging to my credit standing. It is unacceptable for a major credit bureau like Equifax to neglect such a fundamental correction. I demand immediate action to resolve this matter. Please confirm once my name has been updated correctly.Thank you for your prompt attention to this urgent issue.

We needed to freeze our grandkids accounts. We tried to put temp freeze paperwork in with all 3 credit bureaus (Experian, TransUnion and Equifax). We went to great lengths to ensure all the necessary paperwork was provided in each package. Experian and TransUnion quickly sent us confirmation of the freezes but Equifax sent us 2 letters back stating there was no info on 2 of our grandkids provided, which is false. Then we called and they couldnt find the other granddaughters information either. These people that work there are probably crooks and stealing this info. This is completely unacceptable and on top of that their customer ********************** is rude and dismissive. I thought Equifax was supposed to be the good one. NOPE!!!

I got a call from my bank that someone is trying to open credit cards in my name. They stopped it. I then printed a copy of all my credit reports. The put a freeze very easily with Experian and Transunion. After an hour and a half online and phone with Equifax I still do not have a freeze. They told me to do it my mail and cut me off. Sending all this info they want if someone gets that mail I would be in worse trouble.
