These guys **** badly. Neither the web site nor the phone service is usable. I would love to opt out of their services but it's impossible. I will work with my bank to not use them anymore.

Cant even access my account. Been like this for years. Its an endless loop. I go to login it says no account to be found, then when I go to sign up it says theres an account already under my name and info and I need to sign in. THEN when I try to select forgot username and password it never actually sends an email to me to reset the password. When I call customer support after a year of going through the phone tree to actually talk to someone they cant help and have no answers. Cant even fix or dispute anything on my report its very scammy and poorly run. Youd think after literal YEARS this would be fixed and by the looks of my ****** searches Im not the only one dealing with this. Never have an issue with the other credit bureaus

Equifax allowed me a free report, took a debit card info from my B of A account wanted $2.00 for a free report, I cancelled the monthly service also offered only to find in spite of cancelling future service I was being billed for 8 months $436 with out my approval. I feel that as a elderly citizen of 75 this is an example of predatory sales practices. I am seeking help from BBB.*******************************

Equifax without notifying me froze my account while I was in the middle of making a home purchase. The reps are beyond rude and I had to send in a bunch of paperwork proving who I was, when I was sent a link while on the phone with them telling me to upload my drivers license and also having to take a selfie. Equifax hindered me in this important financial transaction and it really screwed me.

I have been calling Equifax for months about my account. They charge ~$20 per month....but the MOST important part of the site has not worked for months. They're unable to fix the problem but they keep charging me month after month with no refunds or time to resolution.

I have recently been looking for apartments in my area and have been declined multiple times. One of the properties mentioned pulling my credit report. I was in shock and realized that I have been a victim of identity theft. Since this has been brought to my attention, I have I've been horribly impacted with even job searches as they pull background and credit checks. There are accounts, late charges and fees that were never verified by me, permitted by me nor a signature to be placed on there platform. First, according to the F.C.R.A Section 604(A)(3) 15 U.S Code 1681(b) Permissible purpose states that I have the right to privacy and that my information can not be shared without my written consent! Second, Section 607(A) 15 U.S Code 1681(e) Compliance and Procedures states my report must be 100% accurate at all times and these late payments are not accurate! Nor did I authorize these late payments to show on my report. Third, according to the Truth and Lending Act Section 15 U.S Code 1666(b) corrections of billing errors the must correct any billing errors made on the consumer's credit report with a written statement of what accounts need to be updated and corrected. I have already sent a letter 30 DAYS AGO AND YOU ARE NOW IN VIOLATION OF MY CONSUMER RIGHTS! I am also placing a FTC reference number- ***************************** Account Number - DISCOVER BANK - Account Number - LENDING POINT LLC - ***** FARGO CARD SERVICE - Account Number - ****************** SERVI - **************** so that you can verify the inaccuracy of fraud that is placed on my credit report. These accounts must be updated AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to avoid any VIOLATIONS FEES.

There is clearly some type of discrimination going on with my Credit Report. For a few months now, I have noticed how my Credit Report goes down at least 20 points for the slightest updates. I will give several examples, my credit card will report my balance went up $1 dollar. Just $1 dollar, I didn't make any purchases, it is just interest or whatever. Then Equifax takes my Credit Score down 20 points. My Score went down 20 points three times inside of a month. The Credit ************ reports once a month so how did my balance get changed? My account is flagged in some way because my score keeps going down for no reason. My score is ***** points higher on Transunion and Experian. I am writing a letter to Equifax and asking for a full audit of my credit report, it should not be changing daily with no activity. This goes against the **** and I will be making a formal complaint! They were trying to keep my from buying a home but they ran out of things to try and deduct so I still met the minimum requirement. Don't do business with anyone that uses Equifax as there main credit bureau!

They sent me an email with the ************* this is a mystery". My first thought was that there was something fraudulent happening with my personal information. I opened it only to find out the email was promo spam for one of their paid services. This scared me for no reason other that to try to convince me to pay for a service I do not need. As a credit reporting bureau, please be more responsible with your email subject lines - I thought this could have been something much more serious.

I went to get a copy of my credit report. They alluded I needed to pay $11.24 after tax to get it so I paid. It turns out you can get a copy of your report for free. I called them back 2 days after I paid looking for a refund. They said they would refund the amount within 30 days. After 31 days I called them back and they said I wasnt eligible for a refund without explanation.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. I am a victim of identity theft and sent Equifax all the required materials to place a 7 year fraud alert on my account. At this point, I have sent them THREE sets of the SAME documents and they still haven't placed the fraud alert on my account. ********************** is a complete waste of time. The "call center" is quite obviously not in the US. The representatives give provide incorrect information just to get you off the line and even when you ask for a supervisor, they are unable to assist.
