I had an unauthorized transaction from this website and I've never used their services. The transaction was done on 01/17/2023 in the amount of $26.86. I noted that there was money taken out of my account **************** Credit card ending in **** and I do remember I was charged $1 trial . I was interested in the free 7-day trial and they immediately deducted a full monthly charge from my account that I did not authorize. I could not cancel it via my banking app, and I found no way on the NeighborWho site to cancel and reverse these charges.I have used it for some scans, but searching only 10 times or so.It's not good enough to where I want about $45 a month deducted from my paychecks.If I'm unable to get this $44.86 refunded to my account, I'm going to have to report this to my bank as a fraudulent charge that I did not authorize.Bait-and-switch, you show interest in the free trial and without warning, they charge you for a monthly subscription that you never agreed to, no warning, no contract, no nothing.And I don't even see a place in the account manager to cancel, pause, or get a refund for this surprise subscription, which leads me to believe that this business is not on the up-and-up. When I want a 7-day free trial, I expect it to be free, to last for the duration of 7 business days, to be warned of the first monthly charge before it is deducted from my bank account, and to be able to be cancelled easily, paused, or refunded.This was not free.It did not last the duration of 7 business days.I was not warned of an upcoming $44.86 monthly charge that would be immediately deducted from my bank account.And I've searched all over this site, and there's no way to easily cancel, pause the subscription until it expires, or to be refunded for services rendered that were beyond what I asked for, which was simply a 7-day free trial that I could cancel at the end of the sixth or seventh business day.It is fraudulent to advertise a free trial and not have it last for the time described, to be immediately charges for an unauthorized recurring monthly subscription, and to make it imposible or very convoluted to cancel.This charge, along with my own personal subscriptions caused my account to overdraft over $60, and I had to quickly fix that.Business Response

On October 8th, 2022 I signed up for their, $1 for a week, promotional deal. I used their services that first day and hadn't been on since. After that first week, without any notice, or confirmation I guess they decided to charge me their monthly charge for subscription. I didn't notice the charges last month, but when noticing them this month i went back and sure enough I had been charged for last month as well. I used NeighborWho.com a total of 1 time when I was selling a vehicle. It was to verify whether a potential buyer out of state was legit. I immediately canceled the service after being changed $44. I have since been charged an additional $44 per month for the past 3 months (October-December) to my PayPal account: ****************** without my consent.
