Due to recent fraud we audited our credit card activity and discovered this recurring charge. This is a monthly charge of $44.86 that has been billed to us since May of 2023, plus an additional $1 in April 2023. Our family has no recollection of using this service and had no prior knowledge of it. What's terrifying to us is somehow this company got our credit card information. And we have had new cards issued during that time that this service somehow found a way to work around. We seek to have whatever account is there terminated and a refund of all charges against our account in the amount of $404.74.Business Response

I have been notified that this company has my personal information without my consent or permission. I subscribed to a 7-day free trial of this background search site referred to as NeighborWho. I was charged $1.00 on 1/21/24. I was then unknowingly charged a fee of $30.00 by NeighborWho on the same date 1/21/24. I requested cancellation of the account during the same day I purchased the free-trial subscription on 1/21/24 and was made aware that the cancellation went through by the site but was still charged $30.00 onto my account on 1/21/24. I was made unaware that this fee would be charged onto my account. I would like to be refunded.Business Response

I just realized this company has been charging my debit card $44.86 for the past 8 months for a total ******! I subscribed for a free trial of this background search entity. The best test of these is to first search yourself and those you know best. The site could find NO ONE but me - myself - and this information was wrong in almost every way, and I noted those corrections as the site allowed for, then emailed to cancel the $1 trial subscription within an hour of accepting the offer. Days later, I was charged $44 and also received an email offering the full report on myself with highlights of the report - which were all wrong and items I had already corrected for them. I sent a secondary email to equest a refund ad further demanded that they correct my information as directed. This is a bogus site and a disreputable business entity.Business Response
