      My Husband and myself recently bought 2 electric recliners and a love seat set of 2 electric recliners at Havertys Furniture Store in ************, ** located at ******************************** ******************* (Sales Manager) assisted ** and we can not say enough good things about him. He greeted us as we entered the store. We told him what we were interest in seeing and as he showed us the variety of recliners he answered questions BUT also gave us enough "private time" so we could talk and calculate. **** proved to be very, very knowledgeable about the Company and Policies.Also informed us of what is covered under the warranty and what further protection we could purchase. ******************* is surly an asset to your Company. He is friendly yet professional. He is able to put the customer at ease as they shop. Thank ****************!

      So disappointed! The salesman was great but the delivery drivers ruined everything. These guys were rushed and careless. To see your brand new couch dropped in front of you on the sidewalk is not a great feeling. Did not get an apology or a phone call from management. I had to call customer service and got no help. Worst ******************** delivery experience ever!

      I recently purchased dining chairs (slat back). Immediately after I received them I noticed defects and called customer service and was told that the wood on the edges of the slats (there are lots of slats) would not absorb the color correctly. There several ****** in the wood of two of the chair legs. Not professionally made at all! It should be noted in the furniture description that the wood will absorb the paint correctly! Instead, the description says "slight imperfections in the wood add to the beauty of the piece". Not true! There are huge, noticeable defects that make the chairs look awful! I've asked that the chaIrs be replaced and they refused! I am very disappointed in Haverty's lack of quality in their merchandise. I paid $3500 for 6 dining chairs (no table). As expensive as those chairs are, they should have never been delivered to me in that condition. Especially because of the ****** in the chair legs and very noticeable areas where paint is missing. A branch manager should have inspected these chairs and sent them back. I've received better service and quality merchandise from a store that sells less expensive furniture. I will not shop at Haverty's ever again! Not worth the hassle of going back and forth with the customer service department that doesn't resolve your issue! And definitely not worth the headache! I do not recommend purchasing anything from Haverty's! The sales representatives are pleasant. However, after you get your furniture, it is definitely a very unpleasant experience!

      From start to finish, I had a great experience with the Haverty's staff at the *************** location. ****** made the buying experience easy and pleasant. He was very professional and offered me a variety of options similar to the Jenna **** I selected. I was immediately alerted through text message about the delivery date and then later asked to confirm. Deliverymen ******* (***) and ****** were super nice and friendly. This is the second time I've purchased a couch from Haverty's and have been so pleased each time.

      Absolutely do NOT recommend purchasing furniture from Havertys. Growing up Havertys was known for quality furniture to date they no longer hold the same value. We purchased the Lennox sectional as well as the guardsman gold protection. The sectional creaks & the wood punctures your body through the chair. The quality is **** poor and the warranty refuses to cover ANYTHING what a scam.

      Havertys is only warranting $563 for the mattress and springs as I was an employee at Havertys at the time.This is unconscionable as a manufacturer to only partially warrant your product based on the employment status of the buyer. In short.All I ask is Restonic provide a comparable mattress and box spring at no charge (cost is approximately $2500) to cover the product which did not live up to its warranty.Please respond quickly as Havertys is only willing to warrant this through 11 July (again, another sham).

      3.5 yrs ago, I purchased a "lift" chair for my husband who is disabled. In May, the chair started stalling, raising by itself or just not working at all. I contacted Guardian, the extended warranty provider and became very frustrated with the delay of service (over a month). My husband cannot lift himself out of a regular chair. I went into Haverty's in ********* area of *****, **. I was speaking with customer service to see if they could help me in this matter. The Asst. ******** D__ Cl__rk, heard me speaking and came right out and said, "Mrs. ******* I have a floor model I'm going to let you use till they get your chair fixed". They also delivered it at no charge!. **************** is everything in my opinion. We have purchased several pieces of furniture from Haverty's over the years, but it doesn't matter how good the product is, if the company won't stand behind it.. We have purchased several pieces of furniture from Haverty's over the years, and I will definately continue to be a Haverty's customer

      We had a 5 star experience in the star and 0 star experience with a repair claim. I am only given one star, because there is not an option for zero stars. We bought a leather sectional for approximately $8000. We chose Haverty's because we figured we would get quality products and at an $8000 price we expected perfection. Our first clue should have been when we received our sectional we had a defaulted recliner, however they replaced it with a brand new one, since it was delivered defaulted. Within 6 months the second recliner stopped working. We put in a work order (thank goodness we had extended warranty) this took place on Feb 22, 2023. Here we are in May 19, 2023 and the part still has NOT been replaced. It is a manufactoring issue per Haverty's customer service department. They have told me numerous time it takes 8-9 weeks. We are on the 9 weeks period and the part has still not been replaced. So we have had a defective recliner for approximately 3 months and we have the sectional for 11 months. I would highly suggest you NOT buy products from Haverty's. They are amazing customer service in the store and TERRIBLE customer service in the repair/quality department.

      The beginning 5 stars with our sales *************** staff. Unfortunately management & Especially Guardsman has given us sour taste. Just over a year & 1/2 ago we purchased a whole house of furniture 3 bedroom- over $20000 ****************** plan On most pieces. Our wrangler couch was delivered broken- wont reclined ( replaced)just over a year it broke again On Jan 12. The run around from ****************** closed.finally after months months someone came out to say yup its broken and we probably wont be back till after the Holidays Merry Christmas. Still not fix- part ordered another 6-8 weeks till in stock . Also they wont ever repair this piece again even tho I pad for a 5 yr protection plan . As Far as HAVERTY I have tried # of times to see if they can make this right were they sold us the protection plan . Nope . Even ask for some sort of credit for the couch knowing I would have to pay some for another. Nope.Never again . We have other issues with our furniture and my husband said dont even bother calling. Havertys - Guardsman was advertised heavily through out the store. We were lead to believe it was all part of you. In our eyes and other reviews we are seeing many other people felt the same way. ***************************

      I went in to buy a certain leather couch. I did not want plain old brown leather. I settled on a whiskey cognac color that had to be special ordered. It would be several months away from getting to me. I needed a couch right away. The sales guy said buy the brown one and get it on Thursday and when it comes in call me and tell me you don't like it and we can special order the one you want and keep the brown in the meantime. It was several months and I got my special order couch, but it was not the one I had chosen. I ordered a deep cushion couch. I kept it and it kept coming apart and they sent me a new one months later. I told the sales guy it was NOT the couch I had paid for. I finally just sent it back and he sent me the plain ******************* sofa again. I kept it. It cost me more because the "sale was over". I was ******. Now I have the couch and it is breaking down really fast. I live by myself and no one ever sits on it but me. They talked me into buying the Guardsman warranty. It was not worth the paper it was printed on. $4000 couch and not worth a c*** Haverty's...never again.
