Furniture is poorly made. I will never buy from them again. Ive had my furniture for less than 6 months and the sofa cushions already have wrinkles in them with only 1 person using it. My rug has been replaced because of pulls and frays after having it less than a month. And is starting to have places of pulls again. And I havent even used a vacuum cleaner on it. Only swept it because of my last rug tore up so easily. They did replace the rug without any problem.

4/14/23 ******* ** I will never again purchase from Haverty's. I recently purchased a recliner from them and the back flap does not snap down at the bottom. I have requested it be repaired and while they say it is a quick fix, we have waited 6 weeks for the "parts". How long should it take to get large snaps to repair the ones that don't meet in the back. If I had a large gripper tool, I would fix it myself. This is totally unacceptable as this should never have been delivered if it was not PERFECT.*******

We purchased a leather sofa and two recliners from Havertys in 2021. The leather on the couch stains just from sitting on it and there are rips in the couch where we were sitting. I called the store today and they referred me to customer service who said there is nothing they can do as it is past the warranty. Nothing like not standing by your product. So I suppose a leather couch that you spend thousands of dollars on is only supposed to last one year? Never again.

I bought a sectional couch from Havertys Midlothian store on 1/1/23, for $4,000, emails and text between the store and ** were difficult and frustrating, finally scheduled delivery 3/1/23, they never pay any attention to my request for delivery time, I called and it was sort of taken care of? ******** was 2/1/24 and on 2/5/23 my husband sat on the couch and heard a loud pop, tech came about 1 week later, couch was broken underneath main frame, ordered another couch, again delivery time requested was ignored, today it was scheduled for 3-5:00, we werent home both at work couldnt get off, now we are still waiting to get our couch, I will never purchase anything from them again!!!

This company has lowered their customer service over the past several years.I purchased an ********************** from them on March 12,2023.I paid $129.00 after shipping in taxes. The shipping fee was *****+ with a Top Drawer promise of delivery. The vase arrived within 48 hours via Fed ex with a major piece no longer attached.I sent photo and tried to communicate with them.I could only get a broken sentence chat.Customer service was no help at all other than informing me I would be responsible for getting it back to them without any details other than a shipping later that I have yet to receive.I'm disabled and trying to carry this heavy piece would be more trouble..it's mostly glass.Poor customer service, handed me off as if I they had not taking my money .I will never purchase from them again.I was a long time customer.

I purchased $7500 worth of bedroom furniture, including a $299 "Top Drawer" delivery fee, from Havertys in **********. It was agreed that that the purchase was be delivered completed, and assembled, by the agreed upon date. The purchased arrived on the agreed upon date, however, there was no hardware sent to assemble the bed ($2000 part of the purchase). I was told by the delivery crew that I needed to contact Havertys' customer service to advise them of the error. I was upset that the burden to correct the error was put on me, but I made several calls before finally getting through to a human to talk to. I was told by their customer service that they would mail the hardware to me, and after I received it, I would need to call them back to schedule someone to come back out to out the bed together. I advised them that this was unacceptable and that I needed the hardware sent via overnight delivery. After being put on hold several times, it was agreed that the hardware would be sent via ***** overnight. That was on a Thursday night. As of this writing, the following Tuesday night, I still don't have the hardware. I am beyond upset with Havertys and I will add that after spending the $7500, I am sleeping on a mattress on the floor.

George is the absolute best!! There is nothing that this furniture genius can not fix. I have been quite impressed with everything that he has assigned with. George is a key reason I will always shop Havertys.

We purchased online an upholstered office chair from Havertys in November, 2022, cost $1000. As the tilt back mechanism stopped working and caused my husband back pain, I contacted the company for in-home service. It was scheduled for 1/21/23. However, when the techs did not show up, I called the company who stated that the service date had been cancelled. After further discussion with their customer service, they admitted that our service ticket became confused with another customer from another state who had cancelled the service date, so they thought we had cancelled. I clarified who we were, and rescheduled to 2/4/23, as they insisted that they could not provide service any sooner. On 2/26/23, they confirmed the 2/4/23 service via text, but when I asked for clarification about arrival time, customer service stated that again, we had rescheduled to 2/25/23. Again, after further discussion, the same thing had happened: this other customer had rescheduled, and they changed our service ticket! They refused to provide timely service, stating that they were already overbooked, giving us a third date of 2/14. They couldn't tell me why this other customer was appearing and calling the shots on our account, but stated that they would have their IT people "look into" it. Bottom line is: we have an expensive chair that is uncomfortable to sit in, and service dates that keep getting cancelled/rescheduled by someone who we don't even know, due to their technical snafus, and there is no fix in sight. I tried to get service through the local Havertys, but they said they couldn't provide it, as the chair had been ordered online vs from their store. What a disreputable sham this company has become. I will NEVER order anything from this company again.

I purchased a $7000 sectional 13 months ago and one of the 3 recliners stopped working yesterday, one month out of warranty. It's an electrical issue so the part is defective. Havertys refuses to fix the recliner. This isn't my first problem with them. Do not give these thieves a dime of your money, they push the extended warranty on when you purchase their furniture but the warranty company always finds an excuse not to cover the damage. You'll regret buying anything from Havertys

We spent approx.$4000 at Havertys a few years ago. I recently called the store to have them direct me to someone who could repair a leather blemish on our sectional. I was told they only deal with warranties, and they couldn't help me. Customer Service is a misnomer, they told me to call the store. So round and round we go. They don't want to talk to anyone who does have an open wallet.Well, they won't see me again - but they don't care - they already have my money!!
