      Terrible customer service---you call the store where you purchased and they direct you to their customer service number----LONG wait times----you can get a call back if you put your number in. However--total run around----bought a large leather sectional in 2015 --they discontinued the parts and items in 2017---fast forward the recliner mechanism is worn down. They direct you then to call Guardsmen Furniture repair who services their furniture. Tech comes out--says you need XYZ part----YOU then have to call the Haverty's store and try to get the part----they send wrong part--service tech returns and says 'wrong part'----I return the part---I am now 3-4 months in to this process and out $256+ for the tech. NOW Haverty's tells me that they discontinued the item AND parts in June 2017 !! WHY wasn't this disclosed before? and WHY are the parts discontinued 2 years after you sold something?? I now have a beautiful looking large leather sectional sofa that has worn mechanical parts that cannot be replaced! TOTAL RUN AROUND!

      Ordered furniture in September been given run around. Told couple weeks now we are on 4 months Asked for refund and told to wait till Monday. Spoke to 4 people just to finally get another run around again. Someone in corporate better help with refund. Never shop here again. Raa14 @aol.com

      I have bought their furniture for the past 30 years. I loved Havertys in the past because you couldnt beat the workmanship on their couches. Fast forward to 2022. I have had to return the last three couches because of factory defects/ poor workmanship and fabric problems. The salesman at the **********, ** store was rude and very disrespectful. He didnt care what was wrong, he seemed to only be interested in his commission. I have never been treated like that by a business that just took ***** for a crappy product. It really is a shame! Dont buy from ***********************

      I have a ******* electric recliner. Initially they delivered a hand crank, not electric so that was replaced. The second one had a hole in the seat. I replaced that at my expense. The handheld remote stopped working. I replaced that at my expense. Now some sort of black powder is leaking from the electric mechanism staining my carpet. Havertys paid to have the carpet cleaned with the understanding that they would cover replacing the carpet if the cleaning did not remove the stain. They now say they are not responsible as its a warranty issue yet they paid for the carpet to be cleaned. Wasnt that also a warranty issue? Very rude customer service department out of *******. Dont buy this recliner unless you are prepared to have your flooring ruined. I now have to replace both the carpet and the recliner.

      I bought what I thought was a substantial amount of furniture. First of all I was lied to and was told that it would not take but 4 weeks to get my ****** recliner in which was not the case. I ordered the furniture mid September and it is mid December and I still dont have it. My sales lady called me in November and told me everything was in ******* and did I want them to deliver on the 17th or 18th I asked for the 18 put it on my calendar and took off work come the 18th didnt get a call, so I called and they said they had me down for the 8th of December for delivery which no one told me this so I wouldnt have know this had I not called. I called and left 4 messages for someone to call me back with no luck. I called a few days later and finally got my sales lady and she acted like she never called me and set that delivery date up she did however tell me that my furniture is in ******* and I could have gotten it anytime. She did get the delivery date moved up to the 3rd of December however they called on Saturday and said they were at my house with my furniture which I was 15 minutes from my house and told them I was on my way home when I got there they were not there. I called and they told me they were not coming back that day it would have to be rescheduled so we did for the the following weekend and then I get a call saying that they wouldnt be able to bring till the 29th of December and when I told them I really didnt want this furniture anymore that I wanted a refund if they couldnt get it to me any sooner than that they told me they would see and call me back I have not heard from them since, moral to the story is dont believe a word they say they will tell you anything to get you to buy something I would have never bought this furniture in the first place if I knew it was going to take so long. I know things are taking longer to get right now however that should be my choice I feel like I was deceived in order for someone to make a sale.

      I purchased what I consider a large amount of furniture. It took a very long time for delivery. Once the living room furniture was delivered the recliner did not work probably. Waited several weeks for someone to come.. they said they were unable to repair . A part had to he ordered. Waited several weeks for the part. The technician came today and they had ordered the wrong part. I have heard nothing from the sales representative since my the bill was paid. I have made multiple calls to the store and everyone is always terribly sorry but the poor service continues. They constantly say not our department we have to transfer you. Then I am transferred and on hold for ridiculous amounts of time.

      We bought a huge wall print from Havertys **********, ** store. We drove an hour to pickup the oversized print, carefully hauled it home with difficulty. We installed the mounting hardware **** feet high in a stairway which was a challenge. We hung the print then carefully removed the protective film from the plexiglass only to find three black ink blots misprinted down the front. After contacting Havertys the salesman said the wall hanging would be replaced and delivered to our home. After numerous phone calls, messages and texts we still dont have a replacement. The salesman initially assured us the damaged print would be picked up and replacement delivered as we are an hour out of town. The delicate print requires a delivery truck due to size. Havertys will not respond to our calls and messages.

      i bought Furniture from haverty in ********* ** they delivery time damaged my house and no body responsable for damge its been more 10 day try to fix by haverty but still no answer from them worst customer service ever you can get

      Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before my husband and I purchased a bed set on 10/15/2022. The store scheduled our delivery on November 2nd. Yesterday November 2nd, I got a call from customer service stating that my ******************** would not be delivered on the 2nd, but will be delivered to us today on November 3rd between 8am & 12noon. This morning at 10am on November 3rd a customer service representative called and said they are having logistical problems and my furniture would not be delivered today, but will be delivered on Saturday, November 5th. I called the corporate office and was told that they would open a customer service ticket. This is very unprofessional and ridiculous. Based on all of the reviews, this is not something new, its Havertys mode of operation. If I had known this a head of time, I would not have wasted my time. *** told ****, the corporate office, operations assistant that if I dont get my furniture on Saturday, I want my money back. I hope potential customers read the reviews and not buy from Havertys. I WISH I HAD!!!!!

      Please read our experience before shopping at Havertys Furniture on Princeton Pike.My husband and I ordered a beautiful bedroom set in June 2021. Delivery of the furniture was originally scheduled for September of 2021 perfectly reasonable. However, we were told a week before delivery that not all of the pieces made it on the boat (from *******), so despite Havertys urging to make a partial delivery, we refused. Although the sales associate was very good about communicating with us, there were several subsequent cancellations and postponements of the delivery. We finally received the 6+ piece set in December of 2021. However, during install there was damage done to the headboard and the bed rails were broken. The headboard was deemed not reparable and a replacement was ordered, but no one ever came to look at it. Even though all the pieces were not functioning properly we still had to start paying in December. (My husband even filed a dispute for the charges, but that dispute was denied). DO NOT TAKE A PARTIAL ORDER OF FURNITURE! The headboard and the bed rails were finally replaced and the headboard was delivered in July of 2022. However, the headboard was missing a hinge and the door didnt slide. We had to wait until OCTOBER for them to come fix them! There were countless trips out for deliveries and service calls. (They even neglected to bring the hardware to mount the mirror on the dresser one time). Several of the scheduled appointments were canceled and one service call that was scheduled for 4pm did not occur - around 9pm we received a call that they would not be making it that day and that the employees were not allowed to work past 9. We requested financial compensation for the troubles from the beginning. In the Fall of 2021, Havertys did refund the $300 delivery fee. We were told by the manager at the location on ************** (**********, **) that they wanted to make sure we were satisfied before discussing compensation for all th
