Beazer Home did not register HVAC system and did not tell customers to register. Now customer suffer from getting 5 year parts warranty instead of 10 years. The ******* furnace keeps breaking down. Please pick a reliable brand and provide serial number on all HVAC components that need to be registered to customer....we do not normally go to the attic and we do not know where to look either.Beazer Homes Corporation

Our sales person was beyond assertive, more like aggressive when it came to us selling our home, when our condo we were purchasing was no where near being completed. Thats a whole other story! Fast forward to closing walk through, a fraction of items were completed AND here we are coming up on 8 weeks after moving in and our list is still long! A worker shows up, does one thing and then we wait for a the next person to come complete the job (paint the patch, etc.). If we blow up Beazer, an army of managers show up and question our incomplete closing walk through list. One said this is all cosmetic! He can call,it whatever he wants, we call it very poor and unacceptable work by your workers AND you not doing your job! Just get it DONE and you never have to hear from us again, its real simple! Some other items besides bumpy drywall, chipped doors and walls, scratched sliding glass door and construction debris stuck where you have to slam door to lock it, film on the inside of double panel window, all bathroom vanity mirrors are scratched, front door has to be slammed or pushed/pulled for it to engage lock, drips on wood mantle, paint all, over flooring, poor AC venting and duct work in master bedroom, bathroom and closet (yes, the owner gets to burn up in their own bedroom), extra storage unit door has closure bracket hardware on the wrong side of the door. Additionally, call box and key fobs for exterior doors malfunction every other week! Window, sliding door and bathroom mirrors have been reordered, have been updated that somethings are in, but have yet to be replaced! So so poorly managed and there is zero follow up!!! The ********************** seems very overwhelmed as well! This is just basic mismanagement at its finest! We love our condo, BUT will never go through this again nor recommend Beazer!Beazer Homes Corporation

I bought a home from Beazer in 2022. We went under contract at the end of January and closed the 10th of August. The quality of my new home is appalling! This is my first home and I dont want to own a home anymore because of all I have been through with Beazer. I have tried to reach out to someone higher than my customer service rep but no one calls me back or it never really went anywhere. The workmanship is deplorable, we have had to have so much work done to the new house you would think we lived in it for 20 years. If you are thinking of buying a home with Beazer, think again!!!! What you see in the model you will not get when you get your keys! And if you do, be prepared to fight for getting issues resolved, even when its warranty work. I am committed to make sure no one I know or meet buys from Beazer. If I could give negative or no stars I would have, they dont deserve a single star! DO NOT BUY FROM BEAZER!!!!!Beazer Homes Corporation

DON'T BUY FROM BEAZER. From the warped walls to non- or ill-working HVAC units, they are the epitomy bad contractors. They showed us one thing in the model home, but the product we received was no comparison. Examples...1. HVAC units in Phase 1 of our neighborhood are exactly the type units recommend by HVAC specialist for the homes. Phase 2 homeowners received units that are half the size of Phase 1. My ****+ square foot home is being run by a 2.0 ton unit. Beazer has the units inspected by a third party but refuses to show homeowners the inspection notes. Also vents are placed on interior walls just inside doors so room will never cool or heat. Wording in our contract says Beazer has the right to change as long as our house never goes over 85 degrees inside. I have attached a photo of our ceiling from one of the leaks.2. No walls are straight. Some offer by 3+ inches. I'm attaching photos of their great paint job too.3. Fireplace that was supposed to be centered on the wall was off by over 5 inches. It is also so loud you can't hear anyone talk in the room.4. Cement slab is uneven therefore the floor is uneven. They had to fix tile...apparently with a different color. Also they covered up a live floor outlet prior to our closing. When attempting to correct the floors after closing, they filled the live outlet with cement. These are just a few of my issues. I could go on. Bottom line they write the contract so they are not liable for anything.Beazer Homes Corporation

I learned a ******* and that is to check this website before buying something as large as a home. ****** sold us on quality, energy efficiency, and customer care. This is a s*** home builder, thats cute corners like the rest of the builders. Our front door frame is not plum to the front door. The door guy just gave us gap fillers. There is no reason the frame shouldnt be ripped out and re done right. They used duct tape in the attic to seal the **** system instead of glueing it properly. Everything with this company is pulling teeth to get anything done. They dont care about the customer experience, but they will have CS reps ***** you about a survey and they swear its not about ****** but for them as working people. If that isnt the biggest red flag. Your CS reps know how s***** the builder they work for is. We will probably have another home built when we settle into our golden years. Definitely not going with ******, and currently informing everyone I know at work that wants a new home built, that ****** isnt any better than any of them. I couldve gone ****** and saved a couple thousand. They lie pretty well, greasy car salesman. Thats a skill. They deserve credit for that.Beazer Homes Corporation

1 starWe purchased a Beazer home in 2019. Our only option for the A/C system was a ******* system. Because I am a home inspector, I know that ******* makes the cheapest cooling systems on the market and their systems require high maintenance and often fail prematurely. We offered to pay the difference to install a Trane system, but they would not accept our offer. They installed a system that was the lowest size and efficiency for the size of our house, and we have been totally unhappy since we moved in. The ******* system is noisy (we can hear the outside unit running throughout the house) and does not cool the house properly and runs constantly in the afternoon. Our electric bills have been over $300 per month in the summertime, which is higher than expected in a house that is supposedly very energy efficient. After only two years, the evaporator coils failed and we had to replace them at a cost of $4000. Yesterday, our outside condensing unit failed and we will be replacing it tomorrow at a cost of $5000. Overall, we feel that Beazer cuts corners on the construction and finishing of the home to reduce their cost and increase their profits. Our home did not come with a garage door opener or sprinkler system, which we had to install at our expense after we moved in. There was no attic stairs in the garage to access this area for storage, which we had to install at our expense. The options we were given for things like tile and carpet and kitchen appliances were very low end and we were not allowed to upgrade any of these options, even if we were willing to pay extra. We wanted a tankless water heater, but that was not an option. Needless to say, we will never buy another Beazer home and we would highly discourage any one else from considering a Beazer home.Review fromBrett W

1 starMy Beazer home is just over 5.5 years old. I have had multiple issues with the air system in this home. First, their subcontractor did not properly seal the ducts in the attic, which then led to a massive mold growth that cost over $2,000 to repair. It was found while I had a service out to clean the system because everyone in the house was getting respiratory illnesses. Obviously, I did not wait to go to Beazer to have them review it before having the system cleaned. I got picture and video evidence from the company and had the system cleaned and properly sealed. When I approached Beazer about it, they blamed the subcontractor. Ultimately, Beazer and the subcontractor refused to reimburse me, so I was out that money.Fast forward to now. This home has never properly cooled in the summer since we moved in. We assumed it was due to having many large windows and a large open area. We hired multiple ** companies to come out and quote us for a second ** unit, thinking ours must just be too small. While they did go with the absolute smallest, barely passable size unit possible, it is large enough. The problem is they installed a high end multi-stage furnace in conjunction with a single stage **. Ultimately, the ** runs at 100% virtually the entire summer, and the furnace overrides the amount of air flow that will go through to the home. This summer in ****, **, has been nearly unbearable, and my latest electricity bill for a **** sq ft home is $400. So much for an "energy star" home. All ** companies say the only fix is to install a multi-stage ** unit that will work WITH this multi-stage furnace. Cheapest cost for the new unit is $18,000! We like the layout of this home, but I will not be buying another Beazer home in the future.Review fromZach

1 starBeazer built my house in 2019. The builder's installers cut one panel on the back of the house too short. Every time the wind blows, the end of the panel pops out. I made a number of calls to have it repaired. The first time it was supposedly fixed was during the one-year warranty. Since then, I have made a number of inquiries to have it fixed. The response has been, "it is out of the warranty period." This is unacceptable.
