Please be advised of the following:I checked into the Holiday Inn Express -********** ** on September 21, 2023. The following morning I went downstairs (8am) to have breakfast at the buffet available to guest of the hotel. While I was dining, an employee approached me and asked if I was a guest at the hotel. I confirmed to the employee that I was indeed a guest of the hotel. Noticing how stunned I was by the question, the employee advised me that she was made to come out by her manager to inquire. About 10 minutes after this incident, the police arrive at the hotel, and approach me and advised me to leave the hotel, as I was reported as trespassing. I advised the police officer that I was a guest at the hotel. He reiterated that I must leave the property as the manager confirmed I was not a guest and was trespassing on the premises to take advantage of the free breakfast. The police officer never asked the manager how she verified this information. Because I refused to leave the hotel, I was arrested for trespassing. Once I arrived at the police station, the police confirmed that I was indeed a guest at the hotel and therefore the charge of trespassing was not applicable, but still charged me with disorderly conduct for not willingly leaving the property. It should be noted that I am an African-American male. The associate that was sent out initially to ask if I was a guest at the hotel was an African-American women. The manager, who never bothered to approach me to verify if I was guest and ultimately made false accusations to the police, is a Caucasian woman. I had to pay for an Uber to return to the hotel. The police returned to the hotel to ****** me to my room to obtain my items and leave the premises.

I booked a room a few months ago for a Holiday Inn. On July 27, 2023, I cancelled the room to book a room on the same dates that was significantly cheaper. Both of these rooms are IHG properties. My credit card was billed for both stays. Upon contacting a IHG representative I was told that I was not allowed to cancel the Holiday Inn because it was a special rate and that I should have known that. My response to that was: Obviously I didnt know that because I would have never book two room for the same dates knowing I would have to pay for both. I asked the representative if there was someone else I could speak to about it. I was told I would receive a call within 48 hours. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. I then contacted the customer relations department for IHG. I talked to two different representatives. Both stated they tried to negotiate on my behalf but it was the Holidays Inns policy to charge me the full price. I was again told I should have known that. I again said If I knew that I would have never booked two rooms for the same date knowing I would have to pay for both. I emailed senior staff of IHG about my concerns, however, at the time of this writing, I have not received a response. I have been a loyal customer of IHG for over a decade, however, it is now apparent they do not care about me as customer. I will never use IHG or any of its brands again. I do not recommend this company.

I haven't even gotten the pleasure of making it to the hotel and having nothing but challenges. Would not recommend at all. Booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express (**********************************************) and shopped the rate today. There is a $200 difference. I booked directly through ***'s website and called the Holiday Inn Express for a rate update. They quoted higher than what I am currently paying and shared the *** website shows $200 lower than what I've already booked. The hotel representative stated I could cancel and rebook with no penalties and I would have to do that on ***'s website. I called *** and they said there is a penalty to cancel and rebook. The *** call center representative called the hotel and they said they don't even have a booking for me. I demanded the call get escalated to a supervisor and she found the reservation and was able to adjust the rate for a lesser view. Still not what I paid for. Happy to go back to the Hilton.

I booked the Holiday Inn ************ Arpt-Stadium Area while it was still ******** and pre-paid the room. When changing ownership I re-confirmed the reservation via phone and was told "we will honor this reservation". When showing up late in the evening with two VERY tied children the receptionist acknowledged the reservation but would not let us have the room because of the crossover in ownership. Basically she extorted for a new payment (at way higher price than internet quotes). IHG, when you tell someone you will honor a reservation - you live up to that. That's what a reputable hotel does.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We had family stay at the Holiday Inn Express for literally 24 hours. They checked out around 10am. Got on a flight and left for *******. I was told by them they forgot a steamer and that they put it under my name all I had to do was go and pick it up. When I went to pick it up the front desk guy named ****** told me someone in the family had picked it up... which is impossible since I am the only family they have in **. The ****** told ** to call the manager and we did and left a voicemail. It has been two days and no call back. We have tried calling and they do not answer our calls and avoid talking about it. An employee in the hotel took the steamer and they aren't giving up compensation or our steamer back. I would never recommend Holiday Inn Express.

The Holiday Inn Express Suites at *************************************************************** is absolutely the worst. I am a member of the Press and Editor and Chief of the largest radio station in the World, Hottalkradio.net. We are a 501c3 organization dedicated to community outreach as well. I was in town on business June 29 and booked a room at this Hotel. I paid through a third party in full. Upon arrival I was asked to pay again so I obliged. They said it was an incidental charge for $50. In reality the front desk clerk charged me for a stay. The total of $160. The next morning I went to ask about the double charge and was met with offensive attitudes and unfriendly vibes from the clerk and the accountant. They informed me that the charge would fall off and that the third party I booked with had not sent over the pertinent card information. So which one is it, an incidental charge or a charge for the room? They were lying to my face. I called IHG customer service to complain and they assured me everything would be handled. I was looking to book another night. They promised to call me back and never did. That night as I assumed everything was handled I went downstairs to grab food I had ordered and was again met with cold callus behavior from the they Front Desk Manager on ***************************************** He asked me and my two small children to leave at 10:00 pm that night. I asked why he was being so callus and he said that they had hired new people and that the card I used wasn't accepted. He offered no courtesy or concern. My money was still pending from the card they used when I arrived. He embarrassed me and spoke to me in the coldest manner in front of my children and other customers. He then tried to call security on me for returning to the room to retrieve my own property. I packed up me and my children and left. I returned in my car to retrieve the remainder of my belongings and they had the front door locked and I had to knock on the window for another manager to let me in.

The *** corporation is *not* truthful in its advertising statements:1. They omit stating whether they are pet friendly. After making a reservation with them for a 2-night stay (6/12-13/2023) in *******, **, (seattle metro area), my wife and I decided to bring our cat on the trip. I called the hotel to adjust our reservation and learned the hotel is not pet-friendly. I went back to the website that I used to book the room and saw NO reference to pets. Further, I was unable to back out of the reservation even after they admitted the no pet issue.2. They have a "best price guarantee", but do not honor their commitment to back it up. I made a reservation for a room at Holiday Inn Express in *******, **, for 6/27/2023, using the *** website for the booking on 6/23/2023 at 10:45AM. The rate was $153.90 + taxes. About 2PM on the same day, I visited Expedia.com and found the same room listed for/ $99.09 + taxes. I called *** to resolve the price discrepancy based on the "best price guarantee". The agent denied my request. She found the pricing discrepancy, and tried unsuccessfully to cancel the room. She also tried to get authorization to discount the rate--unsuccessful here as well.I am disappointed in the lack of integrity by the governing company. They have lost my business, except for one hotel that I frequent. I would discontinue using that hotel as well, save for a marvelous staff that treats guests extremely well. One star rating for the corporation. Were a separate rating available for the HIExpress in *******, **, I give them 5-start for customer service.

************** in ************ *** is absolutely the worst hotel I've ever stayed in!!!!! . And I have traveled my entire life, because my mother worked for the airlines, since I was 5. I've been in the Fontainebleau! I know what a good hotel and a half-ass hotel is, first of all I got my car towed the second night we were here, because according to them I was parked in the Kabuto parking lot even though they're a connected parking lot, the no parking sign is at the front of the Candlewood parking lot when you pull in what you think the sign says if you don't read it is if you're not a customer of the restaurant or I guess at the hotel you will be towed but they don't even call each other after a shift is over if they have cars left over in the parking lot to the hotel to find out if they belong to the hotel or not and they've accidentally parked over there no they tow your car away and then they charge you $250 to get it back and the people that run the hotel do not care!! then they have a snack room that they don't itemize or give you receipt for they just charge you until, hey you owe $600 for food for a week, how in the h*** could my children have possibly bought that much food in a week? And you don't have a receipt to prove what they got but you expect me to pay it???? on top of the rate for the smallest room in the hotel, for a one bedroom suite right against the exit door, so I could hear everybody slamming the door all night and all morning nobody cleaned our room one time in 3 weeks didn't knock on the door didn't ask ** if we needed paper towels, toilet paper, if our kitchen had the dishes that we needed not one thing for 3 weeks!! On top of being the MOST expensive hotel here and in *******, ******* right now, I could have taken my children all the way to ******* and be staying in an ocean front Hotel one bedroom suite for less than I'm paying to stay in the stupid two-star Candlewood Suites overlooking a highway! Never been so disappointed !!

We booked this hotel through Priceline and were charged by Priceline. After we vacated the premises, we were billed again by the Crowne Plaza. We have made four phone calls since then to correct the problem Each time we were told the manager was busy and would return our call. No attempt was made to have someone else correct the problem and the manager has not returned our calls. This was about a $250 charge that we cannot rectify.

rented room at Holiday Inn Express ****************************************************************************************************. Got up to room and had no water. Went back to front desk and they said would be ready in 15 minutes busted main water pipe. An hour later got a room at a different hotel next door and went back to holiday inn to check out and they said there would be no charge. There was a charge for a room that I did not stay in and they will not refund. Do not go to this hotel,
