      I was searching for hotels to stay in for this coming July/2023. I erroneously came upon ******************************* ****** West - I-65, an IHG Hotel. I reserved a room for 2 nights, the total amount was $321.27, it was a wheelchair-accessible room. Before I gave her my credit card information I asked if I could reserve the room and pay when I'd gotten there in July/2023, and her response was yes. But then the woman proceeded to extract from my account the entire above amount! I have been trying to get my funds back ever since! Some agencies should shut these professional thieves down! They have become a pariah of the hotel industry!

      We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express located at ****************************************************** this past weekend. The staff was very friendly when we arrived. We checked in and got to our room only to find it was filthy. The kitchenette counter was so dusty that you could write in it. There was dusty everywhere. The bathtub had hair in it, the carpet hadn't been vacuumed as it had crumbs and debris on it. The bathroom floor hadn't been mopped as was sticky. We notified management and was given another room (the presidential suite), that was even worse. The toilet had dry urine on the seat, there was hair on the bathtub. The floor in the living room space had not been mopped or vacuumed. There were crumbs on the tile floor around the kitchenette. There was a dirty sock and soap wrapper under the chaise. There was a dirty tissue and food crumbs in the pull-out sofa. The sofa cushion wasn't zipped and the cushion was hanging out. The tv screen had a greasy film all over it. Management on duty and the hotel manager were notified. The air conditioning didn't cool the room well. The vent was covered in dirty. The hotel manager, ************** wanted offer me ****** points which does not even cover one night's stay at the hotel. Even more, I didn't book the reservation with points. She did authorize to have all charges for the first night removed. We were there for 3 nights: Thurs-Sun. The housekeeping staff had attitudes for the remainder of our stay which lead me to believe they had been told about our complaints. I've never had this kind of experience at an IHG hotel or with this hotel before. I've stayed there several times. I attempted to log into my IHG account this evening to check points to book an upcoming trip only to find that IHG has removed my account from their systems. It's probably for the best. Hiring someone to inspect guest rooms after the housekeeping staff would alleviate this kind of embarrassment in the future.

      I had a fairly good hotel stay but decided against better judgment to fill out their survey and leave a good review. After filling it out I have received phone calls from telemarketers every five minutes. I use my phone for business and this has been seriously inconvenient. I tried contacting simply to take me off a list and have been given the runaround. While on hold for about 45 minutes to talk to an actual human I received multiple more calls. When they finally got on the line with someone they had the nerve to ask if I wanted to book another hotel stay. The lady I was speaking to kept putting me on hold and finally said she would have to send me to another department and after she sent it it was on hold a couple minutes then the call ended. I want everyone to know they should NEVER fill out ANYTHING for IHG. Do NOT become a member. No points or rewards are worth it.

      Would love to give 0 starsIm a new member who will now never use an IHG hotel again due to the following 2 incidents:1) Was charged $150 and accused of stealing a shower head, which I did not take from a Holiday Inn Express in *************, **. Thus hotel was under renovation and the outside door which was right next ti my room was propped open. When I suggested possible scenarios including internal theft I was told they were ling term employees and wouldnt do that. Filed a complaint w corporate and am still waiting for resolution 4!days later. 2) Was charged almost $1000-yes you read that correctly- at Avid in ****** **, for a pet I didnt have; they told me they saw it go into my room from a security camera. Started out with a $250 charge that somehow escalated above $950 over drafting my bank account 5 times. This was the day after Christmas. The managers and staff were rude and dismissive and didnt take me seriously until I literally raised my voice after 3 different exchanges. It took 5 conversations for them to finally come up to my room and see that I didnt have a pet and even then they wouldnt enter the room. Filed a formal complaint and a week later and many phone calls the money was returned with no apology from the staff or manager. After reading other reviews here, clearly they are taking advantage of their members for $$$$$.

      So I stayed 11 an 12 of one month a month later I got a random charged to my credit card for $100 I took two pillows they told me it was an incidental fee for the pillows. I called and got them to reimburse me but were they didnt know how to figure out how to get into my credit card a month later they made up a fake charge and took all of my reward points also and now will not give them back Ive called and talk to them been on the phone with them for hours and they keep telling me theres nothing they can do for me when in black-and-white they access my credit card without permission took money then gave it back to me but took my points this business is horrible customer care is through the toilet we stayed at one establishment my girlfriend is taking a shower and there was s***** water that came up all over her ankles and nastiness I would not recommend this place to anybody

      My toilet was full of BLACK MOLD under the toilet rim while being cleaned DAILY. I suffer from COPD, asthma, etc and I am unable to get a refund or partial refund, etc NOTHING PERIOD

      I booked a hotel room 3 weeks in advance over the phone - the representative put it out there as if the room I was booking was a great deal. I went on line immediately after and found the same room for $100 cheaper through the *** website. I called back and the rep said I would be charge 30% penalty for cancelling per the company's cancellation policy - AND refused to modify my reservation to the lower cost available online. Absolutely THE worst (and unethical) business practices. I'd give ZERO STARS if possible. Stay away from this hotel group.

      This place is an absolute nightmare. I've been here for five day's and had to constantly ask for housekeeping services. No matter who I talked to I was treated poorly with no regard for their wrongdoing. When I got fed up I spoke to a lady at the front desk that stated it's the language barrier. However this is not so since I speak fluent Spanish. She rolled her eyes and laughed saying there's no way I speak Spanish. I told her that was very racist of her to assume. She then stated since she's Latina it's impossible for her to be racist. I asked for a supervisor or manager and she refused. Finally I returned to my room and called corporate. Turns out there was an Asst. ******* here and when she called me she was beyond rude and happy I'm leaving 5 day's early. The absolute racism is beyond me and lack of housekeeping services 5 day's in a row are disgusting. I'll be glad to leave tomorrow to another hotel. This woke c*** will eventually destroy this company and I'll be glad to see it.

      This is a horrible corporation they advertised all these amenities but they are shut down for updates without letting the customers know. I spent extra just to have an indoor jacuzzi You not better than a motel 6 except for the pool areas and your repairing and I was not told you should have posted it on the website that you have these amenities when your closing them! False advertising! You need to be transparent with the anything under repairs at your hotels to your guest but then you know we would have chosen a different hotel and so you did not disclose information! I will not stay at another IHG and make sure its known your liars and false claims on your stuff!!!!!
