Since December of 2024. Empire Parking Service began predatory booting while operating beyond city ordinances. The representatives of the company verbally assaulted residents and staff members and refused direction by property owner representatives citing "according to my contract." However no contract is not subjected to city of ******* ordinance.

On the evening of 3/25/25 I parked at a retail parking lot at 6 pm which was adjacent to the restaurant I was going to eat at (******************* in *******). I returned to my car at 9 pm to be booted. There was no signage indicating this restaurant was not included in the retail space, and it was after hours for retail. Regardless, I paid the $75 fee and went home so I could relieve my babysitter, not having time to wait for the boot to be removed.I returned at 8 am the next morning to pick up my car, having been notified the night prior the boot was removed, to find the boot back on my car. The companied demanded *another* $75 to take the boot off. I had no ability to fight this claim without leaving my car and myself stranded, and was forced to pay a 2nd ******* is incredibly unreasonable to double boot my car in the same spot for not being able to leave my children unattended at home overnight. So egregious and shameful. I would like at least $75 if not the full $150 refunded.

To whom it may concern, vehicle was immobilized for parking at a lot reserved for current patrons of the plaza. Customer failed to remove their vehicle from the lot and remained in violation for the next several hours after boot removal which led to another boot being placed. After some consideration, we have decided to refund the second immobilization as a courtesy. Please be advised that the vehicle owner is responsible for removing their car off the lot after the boots have been taken off by our technician.

Empire parking services put boots on my wifes car after five minutes of her parking at the visitor parking. There were no visible signs that that the parking was supposed to be paid for. It would take them longer for them to pay for the transaction than it did for these racist and unprofessional employees to come and take the boot off. Look up empire parking services ******* on ****** and see that they have *************************************************************************************** taxes to this city every single year. If they are truly doing honest business they wouldnt have that many awful reviews. Its a shame that this company is still is business. Additionally, the employees were recording my credit card information on their personal devices.

To whom it may concern, this particular vehicle was immobilized for parking at a private property in a visitor area without registering. There is no ***** period at this particular property, thus, it is customer's responsibility to register their car before they leave their vehicle. Unfortunately, we cannot grant any refund even as a courtesy because customer did not register their vehicle ******* at any point during the day.

We do not "scam" anyone. We place immobilization devices on vehicles in violation which naturally leads to unhappy customers and poor reviews. In this case, we immobilized a vehicle that was never registered or paid for parking which means that we have performed our duty to the community we were hired to assist.

I paid for parking. I was booted at my apartment complex within 8 minutes of coming home. I PAID for the $75 boot. The worker, by the id: BXYKUA said he was clocking out and that he would not be coming. He DID NOT come. I paid for the boot at 9:28 and it was not removed until 10:48, which could pose as a potential danger if there is an emergency. I spoke with a dispatcher and they I formed me someone would be out within an hour, and he never came. I had to call again after an hour and they had to have someone else come out. I want to be refunded for the wrongful booting, or Ill take matters to small claims court. I have audio recording of him saying he would not come as well as proof when I paid and how long it took until someone arrived.

Customer's initial dispute was denied under impression that the license plate was changed on the ********************** receipt after the immobilization took place. Better Business Bureau:

Although a credit was issued, this is without question the worst company I have ever dealt with when it comes to responsiveness related to a complaint.  I had to call/email at least 15 times over a two-week period and in all cases, they refused to return calls and speak directly to me.  Instead, they hide behind generic email responses denying claims.  It was only after I provided proof on 3 different occasions (after talking to Parkwhiz directly which for some reason they said they were not able to do), that they refunded me.  If you look at the trail of complaints and the overall ratings for this company, it tells the tale about their business practices.

Dear Empire Parking Services,I am writing on behalf of my husband, an active duty military pilot in the ***********************, to formally raise concerns regarding a recent and deeply troubling incident during his visit to *********************During his stay this past weekend, he was unable to find an available visitor parking space and was compelled to park adjacent to one. The following morning, his vehicle was booted by Empire Parking Services. On Saturday, August 31st, 2024, I went to a restaurant called The *********** in ********, *******, **. The establishment did not provide street parking but had shared parking in a garage with other businesses. The parking garage is to the left of the restaurant. At the entrance, a sign at the top clearly indicates that the left side is for "Retail, Theater" parking, while the right side is for "Residential Parking." Following the signage, I entered the garage and turned left. I found an available parking spot with no signs prohibiting parking. When the attendant from Empire Parking Services arrived, I questioned him about the reason. After several minutes of discussion, he was still unable to provide a valid explanation. Furthermore, he could not point to any signage prohibiting parking. Instead, he dismissed my questions and said it was "out of his hands"despite being the one who placed the boot. For months, I have reached out to Empire Parking Services, repeatedly asking why my vehicle was booted. They have either ignored my requests or insisted their actions were justified without providing a legitimate ********* one point, they claimed my vehicle was booted for improper registration. To verify this, I contacted Enterprise Car Rentals, which promptly provided the valid state registration. Despite this, Empire Parking still insisted the booting was justified and forced me to pay a fee to remove itdespite lacking legitimate grounds.

To whom it may concern, vehicle owner parked in retail section on the property in a space reserved for another business. However, someone took the directional sign down. Thus, we were able to treat the vehicle as a regular retail customer. Retail customers are supposed to pay for ********************** which this vehicle owner failed to do. Vehicle not being registered is in reference to parking and not registered with the government.

On Sunday, March 16th at 10:40pm I had to get a boot removed in an area that is free and public parking on ************************. This is the third instance this has happened. They have been illegally towing here for 6months now and do so inconsistently. There is no signage that says one cannot park there and they continue to do so, and I continue to get my refunds. However, this time they do not want to refund me my money and I think this business needs to be held accountable for their actions. You cannot boot someones car in an area that has free and public parking.

On March 3, 2025 I parked a lot owned by Empire parking services around 9:30 am. I paid $7.00 for parking. I put my receipt on the dashboard of my car and went work. When I returned to my car it had a boot on it. I didn't agree with my car being booted but per their website I had to pay $75.00 to have the boot removed. When speaking to the employee that removed the boot he stated that I would have to file a dispute if I was booted without cause. I've filed 2 disputes since that date and no manger has reached out to try to rectify the situation.
