      I have been a customer of orkin for 4-5 years.We have lots of scorpions.I was away for a year and a half. ***** was able to access the house. But the didnt not **** me in thatbyear and a half that they changed policy and dont do baseboards. Only doors and windows.Shame on you for taking payments and not providing the services i have been paying for. Thats alot of money. *************** *******. Orkin ***** Weather i live in a dump or mansion. I should get what i pay for.

      Thank you for your feedback, the Service Manager and *************** reached out to you to discuss your concerns.  *****'s protocols are not to treat baseboards except in rare circumstances for at least 10 years.  We perform our services in a manner which increases effectiveness and minimizes exposure to our clients, children and pets. You referenced scorpions although you are not currently experiencing any issues with scorpions so the treatment, ***** is performing is effective.       Im not only disappointed client. I chose to go with ***** because of all 5 star reviews. I must be blind then. An employee gave me a quote for $375 but charged me $562. I called and complained about it. I thought it will get taken care of ASAP. I was so wrong because another $275 withdraw from my bank. I contracted same employee multiple phone calls/ text/ messages. He kept saying yes Ill take care of this for you. After weeks had passed, still nothing happened. One day, an accountant manager from ***** called and assured me a refund check will arrive last Friday. Here we are Thursday still no check 1/27. Its been a month since I brought this issue up with an Orkin representative.

      We have been Orkin customers for quite a while and though the technicians have been professional and tried to be helpful, ***** has been unable to resolve an ongoing issue with mice and the customer service has greatly deteriorated. I've repeatedly been told a manager would either come to our house or call me back and repeatedly have had no return call and the manager has been a no show for a scheduled appointment. Another time that someone came out, they tried to upsell us on other services and did nothing to address the current issue they were sent to help with. I've also repeatedly asked for ***** to honor it's money back guarantee to refund our last service payment because of their inability to resolve the issue we hired them to address and they refuse to honor the guarantee. I strongly encourage others to seek pest control services elsewhere and not waste time and money on this company as we have done.

      Orkin was called to check for mice in the attic caused by a recent cold spell. I was out of town so my wife dealt with the Orkin rep ****** who came out. My wife called me in a panic saying she was told we had an infestation of mice. She was also told that besides removing the mice, the insulation needed to be removed and replaced with new. Orkin would provide this service for $17,709! **** further told my wife that he needed an answer within a few hours.I contacted several people with experience dealing with this very situation. All laughed and used words like "scam", "theivery", and "rip-off". None had removed insulation during their processes. The following day we had different exterminating company check the house, not saying anything about Orkins estimate. This exterminator set bait and traps and said he would come back in a few weeks to check the progress and to call if he was needed sooner. Cost- $180!

      All representatives and employees that came out were professional and did a thorough job. They made sure the job was completed and made a second visit as needed. Everyone was courteous and worked in a timely fashion. They give you options and set up a plan. I recommend Orkin, ask the question, they have an answer.

      ***** visited my home and was very accommodating and pleasant. He went above and beyond and took care of all my needs and was patient and understanding when trying to get rid of these pests. Highly recommend Orkin if you have a pests concern.

      They got me. I was so upset when I moved into a new home with mice infestation, that I completely relied on their immediately recognizable brand and trusted them to remedy my situation. Orkin charged me thousands of dollars to clean up my basement and crawlspace. They were contracted to remove all sill plate infested insulation, remove any live/dead rodents, clean the sill plate, disinfect the area and put in new insulation. After their work, I had another service check behind them. The other service found mice f**** in the insulation. I wish I could upload pictures. It turned my stomach. Do I have to literally stand their and watch professionals work? I told them it was a hole by which the pests were getting into my crawlspace. After 4 representatives spent 8 hours working in my basement, they told me the holes were found and closed with a product called "exclusion" so I had nothing to worry about. In 5 minutes the service that followed up on their work also found a 12 inch space in my sill plate that was wide open. Overall, 6 Orkin reps missed this even thought that's the exact area I pointed out to everyone of them when they entered my home. To add insult to injury, the response from Orkin upper management has been pathetic. My onsite Orkin rep came to reinspect my concern on December 23, just before Christmas, after I contacted him on December 20. At least he came out to my home. He since forwarded my concern to management and management finally responded indicating they will send someone out next week (can't provide an exact date) which will be two weeks since I notified my rep of the concern. They had no problem taking my $15,000, but take two weeks to get back out and correct the work for which they were paid. I've learned an expensive ******* but wanted to leave this review to prevent others from making the same mistake. Next stop, attorney general's office of my state.

The Service Manager contacted you to discuss your concerns and inspected the property and found some areas that were missed during the initial service and QA that Orkin is now addressing. The Service Manager will re-sanitize and seal the entry points with Xcluder and Orkin Shield and comping the two of the services. We apologize for the inconvenience in this matter.

      I have never written a review, however, I felt compelled to warn others to NEVER do business with Orkin, and to especially keep an eye out if you have elderly parents who live alone. My 81 year-old mother received a knock on her door asking if she wanted a free house inspection (she has a termite contract with Orkin). My mom has had ********** of any infestations of any sort. The rep proceeded to spend 3.5 hours inspecting every single room in the house (bedrooms and bathrooms included?), even though the average inspection time is one hour at the most. At the end of the inspection, the rep proceeded to tell my 81 year-old mother that she has a roof rat infestation that was going to cost between $20,000-$25,000 to eradicate. During his inspection, he asked my mother if she lived alone. WHY is this relevant to an inspection? I contacted the rep and asked him to email me, not my mom, the quote along with the pictures he supposedly took showing evidence of the infestation. He replied that he could not send me a quote because he needed to come back out to get house measurements and that "we could sit down to discuss all of the issues you are facing." I told the rep that I assumed he had gotten measurements since he was at my mother's house for 3.5 hours. I visit my mom daily. We have never seen one rodent dropping, no chewed food boxes, never heard a noise in the walls or ceilings, and we have an indoor/outdoor cat that kills critters regularly (never a rat). $20,000-$25,000 to fix a problem of which we've had no signs? This is nothing short of elder abuse. After reading all of the negative reviews, I am cancelling all Orkin services immediately. It is clear that I would be wasting my time complaining to management or corporate. I truly cannot believe with all of these negative reviews that corporate has not attempted to make real change throughout the entire company. There are plenty of other reputable pest control companies out there. Orkin deserves no one's business.

      House was not properly treated for termites after first year re-inspection. Never got a resolve. Several years later Orkin failed follow up and resolution. Still no response. Worst pest control I've ever used.

      Thank you for your feedback! The local branch reached out to discuss your concern and inspected your home. The Service Manager offered to retreat home even
      though agreement was cancelled and would reinstate the agreement at no additional
      charge, but you denied the offer. The Branch Manager spoke to Rollins Acceptance Company for any amount still owed and they state that you did not owe anything to RAC
      and last correspondence was in February 2022.

      The Branch Manager feels the treatment was effective in controlling
      termites.  Termites have not been active since 2020 – present. If you have any further concerns, you may contact the branch manager at (919) 828-3221
